Ocean Side Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 646

The Ocean Side, a cocktail to make use of celery bitters. The cocktail plays much like a daiquiri but with gin and brings muted but apparent celery notes without being too much like a savory cocktail. Having the exposure to the cocktail creation, being able to find a new use for Celery bitters, makes this a very attractive addition to your personal bar menu. But, we wouldn't go out of your way to buy celery bitters just for this recipe--unless you also like bloody mary's. Celery Bitters: http://bit.ly/1vkACE5 Simple Syrup: http://bit.ly/P8UkT5 Amok Thyme: http://bit.ly/1IBruB6 Ocean Side 2 oz. gin, 3/4 oz. lime juice, 3/4 oz. simple syrup, dash of celery bitters, dash of saline solution

Mango Sticky Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 932

A viewer submitted a concept/idea for a cocktail that fits one of their favorite desserts and Curtis took the time to make that a reality. The Mango Sticky is the result of that effort. This cocktail utilizes Tequila and coconut rum in conjunction with a mango juice, a juice you don't see used too often in cocktails (it does tend to be difficult to work with) and you end up with a cocktail that doesn't mimic the taste of many other cocktails we have had. Fee Peach Bitters: http://bit.ly/1gX8hjo Simple Syrup: http://bit.ly/P8UkT5 Basil Infused Daiquiri: http://bit.ly/1HMsSzF Mango Sticky 1 1/2 oz. Tequila, 1/2 oz. Coconut Rum, 1 oz.  Juliet and Romeo Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 864

The Juliet & Romeo cocktail contains cucumber and mint muddled together in a combination of awesomeness. Curtis really loved the drink, would order it again. Derrick and Ian thought it was a neat experience, but they wouldn't keep re-ordering them over and over. If you're looking for a cocktail with a huge flavorful cucumber, this is the cocktail for you. Great for the spring time.  Basil Infused Daiquiri, with an ISI Whipper | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 1093

Today we take some rum and infuse it with basil with an ISI whipper, show you what we did, and create a basil-infused daiquiri with the results. A touch of saline, lime and rum so you've got yourself a cocktail. This head's off our salt-week on the show, in which all the cocktails will call for saline solution to balance them out. If you like proper balanced cocktails, a take on a herbal design utilizing rum and a chance to see an ISI whipper flash infuse, stay tuned!  The Ritz Sidecar, Classic Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 547

We do a completely random recipe from the Vintage Spirits & Forgotten Cocktails book. We literally open to a page and build what is on that page. In this case, it turns out to be the Ritz Sidecar. The Ritz Hotel and Paris claims ownership of this design, there is your history. No go wild. Neat idea? We created a series of these recipes for additional content while Doug was in town. We will release them every Monday for the next few weeks. A tiny book. A good recipe. BOOM. Make sure you stare at it for 15-seconds.  Oh Yeah, Shooter | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 666

Silly name, no doubt, the "oh yeah" shooter does give us the opportunity to finally use our bottle of 99 apples. Otherwise, this is a layered cream-based shooter. The taste is a bit different from most shooters, the green apple plays oddly off the cream but that doesn't make it nasty, just different. Some may like it, some may just find it simply odd, or as Curtis says, "unnecessary" Oh Yeah, Shooter 1 oz. Chambord, 1 oz. Irish Cream, 1/4 oz. Apple Liqueur

The Cigarette Girl | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 799

The cigarette girl is a historically interesting figure now lost into the ages of culture. Smoking isn't a trendy cool thing anymore, but this cocktail definitely fits.  The Southside Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 666

The Southside cocktail, might be confused with the Chicago "South Side", which is an entirely different drink. This drink is more like a gin daiquiri. It's not as exciting as the Chicago South Side, to be honest, but it's still a rock solid cocktail. It just hits you with that mint/sour direction with a touch o' gin for good measure. John @ CookMundo: http://cookmundo.com The Chicago South Side: http://bit.ly/1xgNY9A Simple Syrup: http://bit.ly/P8UkT5 CMC Bar Mat: http://awesomedrinks.com/mat Neon Orange Shaker: http://bit.ly/16RySCT Coupe Glasses: http://bit.ly/YIoBaA The Southside 1 1/2 oz. gin (juniper-light), 3/4 oz.  Chicago South Side Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 696

This cocktail differs greatly from the next cocktail we'll be working on, the New York "Southside" cocktail. Aside from "Southside" being spelled in one word, it utilizes a different style of citrus and turns out to be quite different. Both cocktails, however, have mint. Today, we'll take a look at how that mint is impacted by the overall cocktail, will it be overpowering, complimentary or completely useless? Of course, given the history behind these cocktails and the desire for the recipe creators to hide bad gin flavor in a cocktail and make it drinkable, the cocktail should exhibit all the requirements to make a flavorful drink.  Jose Gaspar Cocktail, Happy St. Patrick's Day | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 847

Happy St. Patrick's day, today we're utilizing the José Gaspar, a recipe from Warren Bobrow. The recipe is well balanced, alcohol intense and definitely fits the bill for St. Patrick's Day. Is it green? Nah, but that's just trying to be too trendy. You don't need a green drink to have a good time on St. Patrick's day.  Wigle Wheat and Hint of Hops Review | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 871

Today we take a deeper look into the Wigle Whiskey portfolio. After reviewing Wigle Rye a few weeks ago, Wigle sent over a few of their wheat whiskey products to take a look at so here it is! We have Wigle Wheat Whiskey on the table along side Wigle Hint of Hops, which is something we had not even thought of combining with a whiskey before--will it be rockstar or flopstar? Will it taste like whiskey or beer? Find out now! Glencairn Glasses: http://bit.ly/1c7EfGK Classic Negroni: http://bit.ly/1MEUQB0

The Vulcan Death Grip Shooter | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 749

Today we're mellowing out with the vulcan death grip. We don't wanna pinch nobody, we're looking for more hardcore cocktail creation power: grip. This cocktail may grab your face and just grip it right off and swing your nerve endings around in circles. Or, maybe it's a bit more mellow than we thought it would be. Strangely, the color is pretty darn cool. CMC Shot Glasses: http://bit.ly/UmSW2k Vulcan Death Grip 1/4 oz. Vodka, 1/4 oz. Moonshine, 1/4 oz. Rumplemintz, 1/4 oz. Aftershock

Leonard Nimoy Week: Amok Tyme- Star Trek TOS | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 676

Amok Thyme, a play on the popular Amok Time episode of Star Trek The Original Series in which Spock head's home to complete a mating ritual. An episode in which "Live Long and Prosper" is first introduced! This cocktail celebrates that time with a play on words, utilizing Thyme in a cocktail that otherwise would probably be a type of Bourbon thyme sour. Plus, it gave us a reason to create a thyme infused simple syrup! Genesis Project: http://bit.ly/1MthHgF Lemon Bitters: http://bit.ly/1nBSmHb Double Old Fashioned: http://bit.ly/1plqDbY Amok Thyme 2 oz. Bourbon, 1/2 oz.  Leonard Nimoy Week: Project Genesis - Star Trek TOS | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 882

While blueberries are a bitch to work with, the Genesis Project went on anyway with our blueberry gin infusion. Our infusions used New Amsterdam Gin to build this out (cheap and citrus-forward flavor). We take a drink, tuned a bit towards our Corpse Reviver #2 recipe and build it with the blueberry vodka and blue it up a bit. Does Doug like it? What about Mr. Curtis, who will "meh" you off the stage with his palate power!? Find out, watch it. Coupe Glasses: http://bit.ly/YIoBaA Beam Me Up Cocktail: http://bit.ly/1BpvLGn Genesis Project 3/4 oz. Blueberry Infused Gin, 3/4 oz. Lemon Juice, 3/4 oz. Lillet Blanc, 1 Dash Absinthe, 3/4 oz.
