Hot Apple Cider, with Cardamom-Clove Simple Syrup | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 839

A warm cocktail for our Tuesday, this cocktail brings some sweetness from the cardamom-clove simple syrup yet keeps the apple cider profile and hides the bourbon well within this design. A bit of a clove and cardamom finish with the warm apple cider body. This cocktail brings the flavor intensity without a rising ethanol perfume often found in hot spirited drinks.  X-Mode Power Tower Energy Shots Review | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 740

Lets take a look at a product that may be able to flavor a cocktail, with cherry, that doesn't require a full can in your cocktail. Obviously energy drinks and cocktails have been paired together for years, even against medical recommendations. Aside from the most obvious, "use with care", "drink responsibly" and all that jazz, let's take a taste of this X-Mode Energy Shots from this Power Tower and see what it tastes like. Overall, alcohol aside, this is a great way to get that spark of energy to finish off your tasks during the day. Especially if you're like us and have way too many jobs to do.  Meister on Mars, Shooter | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 588

Not sure what makes this such a mars shooter (or master of it), but I am guessing the layering technique looks like something you'd see on an alien terrain. But, how does it taste? Tastes like sweet cough medicine with the sweet and herbal flavors and may look a bit cooler with none-pulp orange juice. Also CMC Shot Glasses: http://bit.ly/14wBsC2 Meister on Mars 3/4 oz. Orange Juice, 1/4 oz. Jagermeister, 1/4 oz. Blue Curacao, 1/4 oz. Grenadine

Key Lime Pie Martini | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 669

The Key Lime Pie Martini, a cocktail that brings both half & half and lime together in a delicate balance. The first reaction would be a yogurt or curdle when you bring half and half with lime juice...will it work? We either can create a mess or a cocktail or a mess of a cocktail. Instead, we create a great flavorful cocktail that tastes like key lime pie with a dry tart flavor.  Stone Ricky Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 640

The Stone Ricky is a light and refreshing gin-based cocktail that even non-gin drinkers will want to try. The sour combination with orange juice (seen in almost all 'stoned sour' cocktails) brings both taste and aroma without going overboard. A great beach sipper, pool side refresher, this cocktail keeps it flavorful without having to rely too much on crazy amounts of alcohol. You'll be able to sip on a few of these before having to worry about the alcohol going to your head. No scurvy, perfect hydration all with moderate juniper notes and a nice crisp but light acidity.  The Blackbuck, with B.G. Reynolds Ginger Syrup | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 562

Today we create a cocktail designed for our non-visiting guest, Curtis, because it utilized B.G. Reynolds Ginger Syrup and we wanted him to try it. Oh well, we're still making the Blackbuck anyway, for everyone else's enjoyment! This cocktail has a dark earthy texture of ginger with a balance of sweet against the potent bite of alcohol. The Soda water keeps it light and the bitters brings it all together.  Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka Review | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 577

Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, a flavorful citrus vodka that you can use for things that call for citrus vodka. It does have a little less sweet/sour than one would think from the color and all. Deep Eddy rarely disappoints so having a taste of their latest lemon variety was a privilege. Try making some cocktails that call for citrus vodka, maybe a cosmo?

Little Death Shooter with Tres Generaciones Anejo | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 601

The little death shooter uses Tres Generaciones Anejo Tequila, you can try it with whatever you have available if you have anejo or another aged tequila. Worst case, just use silver as this is a "shot" of anejo (which is typically a sipping product). Classic Shot Glasses: http://bit.ly/1wLWpGr Fishbowl Cocktail: http://bit.ly/1ySC9EY Little Death Shooter 2 oz. Tres Generaciones AƱejo Tequila, 1 Orange (cut into cubes), Pinch of Ground Cinnamon

Hush Country Maple Moonshine Review | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 675

A long drawn maple aroma fly's out of the bottle like a genie upon opening it. Hush Country Maple doesn't just bring a sweet maple flavor on the palate, however, as it still brings some burning fire as one would assume from a moonshine. The difference between a flavored vodka and Hush Country Maple Moonshine comes down to the alcohol: this is still a 40% ABV product where most vodka's round out at 35% ABV once finished. The aroma is a good warning, it will sting the nostrils a bit if you take a deeper sniff from the glass. Could make a good core ingredient in a cocktail or compliment another cocktail that is lower on ABV. Glencairn Glasses: http://bit.ly/1c7EfGK Hush Spiced Apple Review: http://bit.ly/1EGHJeb

 D.O.M Cocktail | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 800

Benedictine meets flaming orange, two of Ian's favorite things! This cocktail utilizes gin, but the real focus is on the herbal liqueur Benedictine, even though it's one of the least quantities on the recipe card, it's the one with the most distinct flavor. Of course, you also have to flame an orange so you can watch that action and try it for yourself as well. Pick your favorite gin, probably something that doesn't have a lot of distinct distracting flavors as you may lose some of the lovely Benedictine (or make it better?) D.O.M Cocktail 2 oz. gin, 1 oz. Fresh Orange Juice, 1/2 oz. Benedictine, Flamed Orange Peel

 Hemingway's Death In The Afternoon | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 660

Absinthe and champagne, one might ask why you'd need to combine the two ingredients together given they're both, on their own, a solid drinking buddy, but no...wait, there is more. Hemingway had a problem with alcohol, the problem was that he loved it. And now, you too can see what hemingway found a modestly potent drink for his afternoon musings. Aside from his well known potent Daiquiri, this is one more cocktail documented in the way of hemingway. Tovolo Ice Trays: http://bit.ly/17XrFJ4 Hemingway's Death in the Afternoon 1 oz. Absinthe, 4-6 oz. Champagne

Irish Poet, with Rose Simple Syrup | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 641

A cocktail with cold tea, that's something we've not done in awhile. The Irish Poet is a Royal Rose recipe using their Rose Simple Syrup. The Irish Poet is like a poem that dances upon the tongue with subtle flavor notes, a bit of an herbal tea draw and a nice light rose finish. If you need a nice looking tea based recipe that doesn't just taste like iced tea, the Irish Poet is a worthy try!  OK Mango Margarita with ok.- Energy Mango | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 688

This episode, sponsored by the ok.- energy crew, is our unique take on the margarita with energy drink. There are other mango margarita recipes, mango isn't such a crazy ingredient for such a drink, making the energy drink version something fun and unique. This is a light and refreshing, slightly sweeter and carbonated than a typical margarita, for anytime enjoyment. The mango plays well and offers a slightly sweeter side with still good tequila focus. If you like it more sour, add another 1/4 oz. lime juice.  Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado Review / Tasting | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 708

Today we take a look at Jose's Limited-Edition product, Tradicional Reposado. This product, often found in the sub-$30 price category represents Jose's rested line of products, fitting just above the Jose Tradicional Silver and far above the gross Especial mixto. If you're looking for a tequila with bright aroma, consistent flavor that mimics that of a margarita, this is a great addition to your spirit collection. You'll find it comes in at a cost effective price, manages to go above expectations on flavor and nose and compliments the need in a cocktail calling for "Tequila."

Spicy 'Nanas Shooter | File Type: video/x-m4v | Duration: 736

The Spicy 'Nana's is a fireball meetings the yellow runt banana, great 1 cent candy store shot. There is some back end alcohol action which is common with anything utilizing 99 bananas, but the flavor does seem like it could be some mix of a Willy Wonka recipe if Wonka used a neutral grain spirit to infuse his candy. Good shot for those that don't mind alcohol and also like the flavor of banana. Support CMC: http://patreon.com/cmc Classic Shot Glasses: http://bit.ly/WTKHF6 Spicy 'Nanas 1/2 oz. Peach Schnapps, 1/2 oz. Fireball Whiskey, 1/2 oz. 99 Bananas
