Today the Anaheim Ducks find themselves one point out of first place in the Pacific Division and still control their destiny. The Ducks face Dallas tonight and then have Winnipeg, Los Angeles, Colorado, and Washington to finish the season. The past couple of days has been difficult for Anaheim with all the injuries that have been reported by the team. Here is a list of the current injuries: Kevin Bieksa(Upper Body), Simon Despres(Concussion), David Perron(Shoulder), Rickard Rakell(Appendicitis), Brandon Pirri(Upper Body), and Frederik Andersen(Concussion). On this show we discuss how the Ducks will push through the final week of play. We talk about the Patrick Maroon incident, all the injuries, and answer plenty of fan questions along the way. We also share our thoughts on Duncan Keith and Steven Stamkos as well.

The Anaheim Ducks went on a five game road trip through Canada and what a trip it has been so far. The Ducks are 2-1-1 in the first four games. They beat Winnipeg, then lost to Montreal and Toronto before winning in a wild comeback against Ottawa yesterday. This week the Ducks roster saw changes each game as the injuries started to mount. Anaheim lost David Perron to a shoulder injury in the game against Winnipeg. Simon Despres was then injured in the game against Montreal and was sent back to California to be evaluated. Kevin Bieksa was the next victim to receive an injury in the game against Toronto. The Ducks also lost Ryan Kesler this week as he had to return home to handle a personal matter before the Toronto game. The Ducks did see Sami Vatanen and Chris Stewart rejoin the team this week. Stewart finally was able to play in the game against Ottawa. Shea Theodore was recalled getting to play in the game against Ottawa too. We discuss the road trip, all the Ducks injuries, and how the outlook for the playoffs will be for Anaheim. We also answer several fan questions throughout the show.

During the third period of the Anaheim Ducks game against the Los Angeles Kings on January 17, Bruce Boudreau split Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry. The two remained separate for the next two months until last the game against Boston Bruins. Boudreau put the two together again on one line with Jamie McGinn. It paid off as the line combined for four points on the night and the Ducks won 4-0. Today the Ducks had a brief practice at Anaheim Ice and the same line of McGinn, Getzlaf, and Perry was together. Eddy and Mike discuss whether the Ducks should keep Getzlaf and Perry together or not. John Gibson was on ice today at practice and appeared to look good. According to Boudreau, he will likely start against the Winnipeg Jets in the next game. Eddy and Mike discuss the current goalie rotation between Gibson and Frederik Andersen. They share their on thoughts on how the Ducks should proceed for the rest of the season.

The Anaheim Ducks had a record 11 games winning streak, but then lost three games in a row. The Ducks are now in second place behind the Kings by two points, but can still win the division as both teams have 15 games left to play. The Ducks do play the Kings during the final week of the season. Eddy and Mike discuss Anaheim's recent mini-slump and how the Ducks can improve. They talk about some moves the Ducks might want to make with their lineup. Lastly, they have a discussion about Teemu Selanne and his comments regarding banning players that use Performance Enhancing Drugs(PEDs).

The Ducks are now in first place over the Kings by two points and control their destiny in the Pacific Division and surprisingly even the Western Conference. Special guest Patrick Mahoney from The Puck Guys podcast, joins the show to talk about Anaheim's success and what to expect in the final weeks of the season. The dust has settled on the NHL trade deadline. Bob Murray stayed active on the final day as the Anaheim Ducks ended up making four trades. Eddy and Mike look at each trade giving you their thoughts and analysis on the moves. They discuss what the lineup could look it moving forward and how the Ducks could deal with the RFAs and UFAs this coming summer. The Anaheim Ducks find themselves in second place in the Pacific Division behind the Los Angeles Kings. The Ducks have turned their play around and have gone 18-4-2 since the holiday break. The Ducks have scored 53 goals in their last 13 games averaging just over a four goals per game. Anaheim just finished their best seven game road trip in franchise history going 5-1-1. Last week they beat Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver for western Canada sweep. Eddy and Mike talk about Anaheim's success, the coming trade deadline, and answer several fan questions in the process. This past week the Anaheim Ducks had two quality games and two not so great games. The end result was the Ducks went 2-1-1 this week and sit one point behind second place San Jose. The Ducks finally beat the Chicago Blackhawks, who had their number in two previous meetings. Eddy and I recap all the games and provide our analysis on Anaheim's performance this week. The Anaheim Ducks are rolling with a league leading six game winnings streak. They defeated San Jose, Los Angeles, and Arizona all this past week, outscoring them by a combined 12 to 6 margin. The Ducks leaped the Arizona Coyotes in standing and are only one point behind San Jose for second place. Even the Kings are now just eight points ahead of the Ducks. On this week's show we talk about the Ducks offensive success scoring 38 goals in their last 10 games. The Ducks have gone 8-2-0 during that span. The new top three lines have been rolling, but the fourth line has been scoring goals as well. Lastly, we cover trade rumors and share our thoughts on if the Ducks should make a trade or not. The Anaheim Ducks beat the Boston Bruins 6-2 just before the All-Star break to extend their winning streak to three games. Anaheim sits in fourth place in the Pacific Division, just two points behind the Arizona Coyotes with two games in hand. This coming week the Ducks play Arizona, San Jose, and Los Angeles, which are the three teams ahead of them. Eddy and I discuss the Ducks recent success on ice and the issues off ice. We discuss the Shawn Horcoff and Clayton Stoner situations and how they may affect the Ducks in terms of future trades. Lastly, we discuss the All-Star weekend and the impact of John Scott. Down 3-1 heading into the third period against Los Angeles, coach Bruce Boudreau changed the Ducks lines. It helped light a spark for the Ducks who nearly came back to tie the game. Since then Boudreau kept the new lines, resulting in the Ducks winning their next two games over Minnesota and Detroit. The Ducks made another trade sending Jiri Sekac to Chicago in exchange for Ryan Garbutt in a surprise move. We discuss the impact Garbutt could have on the Ducks lineup.
