In the Anaheim Ducks game against the Minnesota Wild on December 5th, Keith Ballard delivered a hip check that injured Corey Perry knocking him out of the game. By league standards it was a clean check, but should the use of hip checks be banned or modified in the league to prevent injuries? Eddy Jones and I discuss if any changes should be made. The flu has affected several teams in the NHL including the St. Louis Blues, Minnesota Wild, Los Angeles Kings, and the Anaheim Ducks.
