This past week John Gibson was named the NHL's first star. He posted a 3-1-0 record with a 0.75 GAA and .968 SV%. Gibson's play has brought success to Anaheim and it has all brought trade rumors as well. Darren Dreger commented that the word on the street is Frederik Andersen and Anton Khudobin were available to be moved. Eddy Jones and I will discuss Dreger's comments, trade rumors, and Anaheim's goalie situation. We will break down the possible scenarios for the Ducks and give you our thoughts on the situation in the crease. We also will cover the last week's games, injury news, and answer your hockey questions.

The Anaheim Ducks have started to play better improving their power play and forecheck. The Ducks have gone 7-4-3 in their last 14 games and now sit 6 points behind Arizona for the 3rd and likely final playoff spot in the Pacific Division. The Ducks are 2-3-3 vs their Pacific Division opponents. They are going to need to beat their division opponents in regulation to help climb up in the standings. Yesterday Nate Thompson joined the team after briefly being in San Diego for one game. Shea Theodore was also recalled. The Ducks are getting healthy as Jiri Sekac have been seen skating at practice again. Eddy and I look at the Ducks past two weeks' worth of games recapping the team's play. We cover injury news and preview this coming week’s games. After the 1-7-2 start, the Anaheim Ducks went on a roll winning four games in a row. The Ducks from last year looked like they returned. Anaheim then played three games at Honda Center and dropped all of them. Today it was announced by the Anaheim Ducks that Nick Ritchie and Michael Sgarbossa were called up. Max Friberg and Korbinian Holzer were sent back to San Diego. Chris Wagner was placed on waivers and has until Sunday morning to clear them in hopes of returning to San Diego. Eddy and I look at the Ducks last three games discussing why the team isn't playing as well. We discuss what the moves of Ritchie and Sgarbossa may bring to the Ducks. After an opening night loss to the San Jose Sharks 2-0, the Anaheim Ducks headed home for a four game home stand. The Ducks started the home stand with a shootout loss to Vancouver. The Ducks then dropped two in a row getting shutout by Arizona and Colorado. The Ducks did win the final home game over Minnesota, but the 1-3-1 record has the Anaheim faithful concerned. Articles and rumors are being put out there about Bruce Boudreau's job security. Eddy and I address these rumors and more importantly we provide you with what is exactly is going on with the team. The start of the NHL season is right around the corner when the prospect games begin. The Anaheim Ducks had two prospect games on September 12th and 13th. The Ducks earned a split in the two games. Our writer Thomas Harrington attended both events. Thomas joins our show this week and provides his thoughts on how the prospects looked. This past weekend was the Getzlaf Golf Shootout to benefit CureDuchenne. I was able to attend the event and talk to most of the team. This past week the Anaheim Ducks signed center Mike Santorelli. When you look at the Ducks roster you will notice the team is extremely deep now at the center position. We know that Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler will remain the top two centers, but where do the rest of the players fit in the lineup? Eddy and I discuss where Rickard Rakell, Nate Thompson, Chris Wagner, Shawn Horcoff, and newly added Mike Santorelli should play in the lineup.
