The Anaheim Ducks find themselves on a three-game winning streak, defeating Carolina, San Jose, and Ottawa. Anaheim has been getting the job done with almost half of the forward lineup coming from their San Diego Gulls AHL affiliate team. Joseph Cramarossa, Stefan Noesen, Ondrej Kase, Nick Ritchie, and Logan Shaw have filled the third and fourth lines. On this show, we talk about how the Ducks have had to rely on the young players from the Gulls. The Anaheim Ducks finished their Western Canada trip going 1-1-1. They defeated the Vancouver Canucks and earned one point in an overtime loss to the Edmonton Oilers. The Ducks then finished the trip with a terrible loss at the hands of the Calgary Flames. On this week's show, we look at the Ducks struggles in overtime and in secondary scoring. Anaheim has yet to win a game in overtime this season. The Ducks have gone into overtime five times, losing four times during 3-on-3 play and once in the shootout. We take a look the lineup and discuss how some changes could be made to provide more offense. The Ryan Kesler line has been dominant in producing goals, but there is a drop off from the rest of the team's forwards excluding Rickard Rakell. We also talk about several former Ducks on this show, including Travis Moen, J.S. Giguere, and Patrick Maroon.

This past week the Anaheim Ducks went 1-1-1 in their three contests. They lost in a marathon shootout to the New York Islanders 3-2. The Ducks lost to the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 and then beat the San Jose Sharks 3-2. Each game involved a controversial call involving a scoring play. On this week's show, we talk about each play and discuss whether the NHL officials made the correct call or not. We talk about the Ducks performance during these three games and how they responded to the officiating. We talk about the Ducks lineup, player movement, and the expansion draft. Lastly, we talk about Las Vegas' new team name, the Vegas Golden Knights and also share our thoughts on the Florida Panthers firing head coach Gerard Gallant.

Last season when the Anaheim Ducks turned around their season it was in large part due to the fact of having three lines that could score. This season it's been the Ryan Kesler line the has provided the most goals with 19. Kesler leads the team with eight goals. Jakob Silfverberg has six goals and Andrew Cogliano has five. The Ryan Getzlaf line has nine goals and the Antoine Vermette line has 11 goals. On this show, we talk about the Ducks amazing 20-0-1 record at home since Kesler joined the team. The Anaheim Ducks saw the return of Hampus Lindholm this week on their road trip. The Ducks went 1-1-1 on the trip ending it with a blowout loss to the Nashville Predators. Of the 16 games the Ducks have played this season, seven of them have been either big wins or big losses. On this show, we discuss how the Ducks have struggled with being consistent. We talk about the scoring disparity in some contests and how the Ducks can improve to avoid letdowns in any given period. This past weekend Teemu Selanne played in the Athletic Sports Fund of America's(ASFA) Fedorin Cup. Selanne was a last minute addition to the game and he didn't disappoint the fans. He nearly scored a hat trick and almost tied the game on the final shootout attempt. Current Anaheim Ducks Ryan Getzlaf, Andrew Cogliano, and Clayton Stoner also participated in the event.
