 464. Tractor Treats: a meditation and story for your bedtime routine | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:47

Trenton the Tractor helps Dragon and the kids share their harvest with the animals and the town. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:09 Tractor Treats Excerpt: Sunlight spilled across the fields on the crisp, fall morning. The grass sparkled with frost. Trenton the tractor smiled feeling the sun warm the land. He had had a lot of work to do, lately. And now it was time to enjoy some peace. Trenton looked to see if anyone else was up. He wanted to share the magic with a friend. The little yellow tractor looked to his right. No one was there. Then he looked to the left. Dragon smiled back at the yellow tractor.   Trenton jumped, surprised to see Dragon so early in the day.   “Isn’t the sunrise beautiful Dragon?” The tractor asked, catching his breath.   Dragon nodded and took a deep dragon breath, in and out, (deep breath) enjoying the peace.   Joining Dragon in the moment, the little yellow tractor took a deep dragon breath of the fresh morning air, in and out, (deep breath), and listened to the sounds of the morning. Delicate melodies drifted down from the trees. The birds sang a cheerful song to wake everyone up.   “So, what brings you out to the farm?” the tractor asked Dragon.  165. All Done! A guided relaxation and calming story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:37

The Construction Crew puts the finishing touches on the train tunnel. While she works Dizzy the concrete mixer rambles on and on. Will she notice how the others are feeling? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “All Done!" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:54 All Done! Excerpt: Ellie the excavator woke, ready to finish the tunnel project. She carefully opened her eyes, expecting sunshine to spill into her cozy garage. Instead, Ellie heard a voice drifting through the walls. It sounded like Dizzy the concrete mixer. The talking had woken her up just ahead of the sunlight. The little excavator rumbled out of her garage, curious to see what was happening. Dizzy was busy talking to Danny, the dump truck. Ellie could see she was really excited about something. Dizzy was busy explaining to Danny why it was important that she kept the concrete spinning. She rumbled around the yard following Danny wherever he went. “I like to keep the concrete moving at a nice steady pace...” the two trucks rumbled away. Ellie decided she should probably check on them later, Danny looked a little annoyed. Ronald the roller rolled over to the little excavator.   “Where are they going?” he asked as he watched Dizzy following the little dump truck.   “I think Dizzy is explaining concrete to Danny.” Ellie answered.   “Oh no. Not again.” Ronald said. “She really gets stuck, around and around she goes, explaining the same thing over and over.”   “Oh dear. Danny isn’t nearly as patient as you Ronald. This may be a problem.” Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently. Allie meets Anora at the garden. There are just too many ripe vegetables to give away. They need a better plan. Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:23 Happy Harvest Excerpt: Sunshine flowed through any opening it could find, excited to wake everyone up for the day. It found a nice spot right between the drapes in Allie’s bedroom. The sunlight slowly spilled into the room until Allie’s eye fluttered open. Allie smiled and stretched.   “Thank you for waking me up, sun! It’s going to be a great day!”   Allie took a deep dragon breath, in and out, of the refreshing morning air. She hopped right out of bed and got dressed in her favorite shirt and pants.   Allie heard a little bit of clatter from the kitchen and rubbed her tummy. It was time to make breakfast! Allie hurried to the kitchen to help her dad and mom. She knew just what to do. Allie got dishes, silverware, and napkins out, placing one of each on the table in front of each chair. “The table is set!” Allie announced.   “Thank you, Allie,” her dad said with a smile. “Would you pour us some water?” Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach.  164. Gentle Giraffes: a bedtime story and guided meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 20:21

Giselle the little giraffe feels nervous its her first day with a babysitter. How will Ginny help her feel better? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Gentle Giraffes" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:29 Sharing a Snack Excerpt: The sun warmed the land easily without a cloud in the sky to block its rays. The baby giraffes relaxed with their mamas in the warm light. Giselle Giraffe looked up at her beautiful mama and beamed. The little giraffe loved being with her mama, and she stuck right next to her, always. Her mama looked down at Giselle, smiled, and gave her a gentle nudge. “Giselle, I’m going with some of the other mamas to get some food. It will be safer for you to stay here with the other little giraffes and the rest of the mamas.” Giselle looked at her mama, feeling her eyes fill with tears. She had never been away from her mama before and the thought scared her. “Do you have to go?” She asked.   Her mama smiled and said, “All the mama giraffes take turns going off for some food. Now, it’s my turn. I’ll be back before you know it.” Mama looked carefully at Giselle and saw that her little giraffe was feeling worried, so she decided to introduce her to one of the other giraffes. “Giselle meet Ginny. She will look after you while I’m gone.” Giselle looked up at the kind giraffe smiling down at her. Ginny seemed nice, she just wasn’t Giselle’s mama. The little giraffe nuzzled her mama, and her mama gently groomed Giselle’s head. “If you get nervous remember to take your deep dragon breaths. I’ll be back soon.” And with that Giselle’s mama left. The little giraffe felt sad as she watched her mama leave, so she took a deep dragon breath in and out. She could still see her mama, and her mama was smiling. Giselle took another deep dragon breath in and out, and realized if her mom felt happy everything was OK.  460. Magical Music: a calming bedtime story and meditation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:35

Dragon goes for an early evening walk through the enchanted forest and finds a new little trail. The trail takes Dragon into a magical grove of ancient trees. Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 9:39 Magical Music Excerpt: Sunlight spilled through the thick leaves of the trees in the enchanted forest, creating a colorful lacy pattern on the ground. Dragon gazed up at the sky to see it changing from a bright blue to filling with red, orange, pink, and purple. Dragon did like a sunset walk. Everything seemed a little more magical in the woods. Dragon smiled, enjoying both the warmth of the sun and the cool shade of the trees. As Dragon continued down the path, the gentle melody of a bird’s song circled Dragon. Dragon looked up to see Gerry bird, a friendly robin resting on a tree branch above. Gerry fluffed up her feathers and coasted down to see Dragon.   “Isn’t it a beautiful evening!” she sang.   Dragon nodded. Together they continued along the path. Gerry bird sang and circled Dragon, while Dragon walked along, taking in all the sights, smells, and sounds of the forest. Then Dragon stopped. A faint trail lead away from the path.   Wondering what could be down this new trail, Dragon stepped off the path. Gerry felt a bit curious too and followed Dragon. Since this was all new to Dragon, Dragon walked very carefully, gently moving tree branches aside. This part of the forest seemed very peaceful. Dragon heard a faint melody in the distance and realized the little trail would bring them right to it. Today’s Meditation: Happiness and love flow through you in this meditation.  163. Sharing a Snack: a meditation and story for your bedtime routine | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:24

Dragon and Oliver the elephant feel a little hungry. What can they have for a snack? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Sharing a Snack" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:31 Sharing a Snack Excerpt: The curious dragon peered out from the cozy cave and eagerly watched the sun set. The dragon could hardly wait to return to the animal sanctuary and explore some more. The hmmm from the sparkling train faded into the distance, and the dragon knew it was time to go. The dragon stepped outside the cave, stretched its wings wide, then lifted up off the ground. Hovering above the forest, the dragon looked for the train’s tracks and then followed them once more. The dragon smiled, and passing the beach, waved to Benji the bucket and Paula the blue penguin. Warm air surrounded the dragon above the beach land, and then slowly the air began to cool. The dragon smiled, and waved to Beau the beluga whale and Princely the penguin as the land turned white, covered in snow. The dragon followed along the tracks until the white snow melted away, and the land changed to green and brown. The dragon looked for the peaceful pool of water, and landed in the sanctuary.   Oliver the elephant rested with his herd. He heard a noise and looked up. The dragon had come back! The little elephant smiled, happy to see the dragon again. The little elephant hopped up and ran over to the dragon. The dragon felt a little worried at the sight of the elephant bounding forward at full speed. Oliver screeched to a stop and wrapped the dragon in a big hug with his trunk. The squished dragon smiled and began to wiggle out of the little elephant’s grasp. Oliver noticed that his great big hug had made the dragon feel uncomfortable, and apologized. “Sorry dragon, I was just so excited to see you again. I guess I over did it.” Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness. Rob the Raccoon realizes that Nutsy and Peanut the Squirrels haven't had any of the vegetables. Since the squirrels shared a lot of the seeds for the garden, the raccoons search for them to share the delicious vegetables. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:05 Fresh from the Garden Excerpt: As he relaxed, it occurred to Rob that Nutsy and Peanut, the squirrels, were nowhere to be found. The little raccoon knew that they would enjoy the vegetables too.   He spoke up, “Has anyone seen Nutsy and Peanut?”   Rebel and Riley stopped for a moment to think. Then Rebel said, “No, I don’t think I’ve seen them today.”   Rob said, “We should let them know about the vegetables. They brought a lot of the seeds for the garden. They should have some of the vegetables, too.”   Riley nodded and said, “Let’s go look for them.” And with that the three raccoons headed into the forest to find their friends. They headed first to the old oak tree, where the squirrels liked to nap.   Rebel called up, “Nutsy? Peanut?”   With no response, Rob hurried up the tree as fast as his three legs would carry him. He knocked on the trunk next to their nest, but no answer.   I don’t think they’re here.” He called down to his friends.  161. First Ride: a kid’s mindful story and guided relaxation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:24

Trudy the tricycle and Bing the bike help their wobbly passengers on their first rides. How will they do? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “First Ride" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:25 First Ride Excerpt: The blue bicycle slept peacefully next to the little red tricycle in the cozy garage. Sunshine slipped through the cracks of the large door, and Bing the bicycle knew it was morning. As the door rumbled and slowly rolled up,Trudy the tricycle awoke. Both Bing and Trudy relaxed in the warmth of the sunlight filling the garage. Bing, who was a little taller than Trudy, looked up across the car’s hood and saw the little girl and boy walk into the garage with their mom and dad. Bing smiled and said to the tricycle, “I think we’re going out for a ride today!”   “Really!” Trudy said, “How do you know?”   The bicycle replied. “I can see that the little boy and girl are wearing helmets, and I’m pretty sure they only wear those when they are going for a ride.”   Sure enough, the little boy and girl walked over to the tricycle and bicycle and gently rolled them out of the garage. With mom beside her, the little girl hopped up onto the bicycle. Bing was proud. She had been practicing her balancing for a while now, and the little girl only wobbled a tiny bit on the still bike. The little girl had also been practicing how to stop her bike when it rolled too quickly, and she was really good at that too. Now, she was ready to ride. The bicycle looked over and saw that the little boy had hopped onto the tricycle, pedaled furiously, turned too quickly and tumbled into the grass. Trudy was tilted over, her handlebars lying in the grass. The little boy picked himself up, still smiling, and gently set the little tricycle back up onto her wheels. She looked a little surprised. Once Bing realized that Trudy and the boy were ok, he laughed. After all, it was a bit funny. Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you send kind energy to your heart.  456. The Biggest Carrot: a mindful bedtime story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 22:15

Dragon decides to check on the garden and finds Max, Mia, Ian, and Mike, picking vegetables. They realize it's time to share with the forest animals. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:51 The Biggest Carrot Excerpt: A warm breeze whistled through the trees outside Dragon’s cave. Hearing the relaxing melody, Dragon smiled and stepped out. The sun warmed Dragon’s skin, and just as Dragon began to feel a little too hot, the gentle breeze cooled Dragon back down. Dragon sat down and relaxed. It was a beautiful day. Dragon took a deep breath, in and out, enjoying the weather. Then Dragon remembered the garden and wondered how it was growing. Dragon decided to go for a visit and hopped up to go to the park.   Dragon wondered if any of the kids would be there. Hoping to see some friends, Dragon walked quickly. After all, it was already the afternoon and if the kids were at the park, they would have to go home pretty soon. Laughter flowed into the forest, carried on the breeze and Dragon smiled. The kids were at the garden. Dragon hurried to the garden listening carefully to guess who was there.   First, Dragon heard a cheerful voice. Dragon guessed that was Mia. An excited but nervous sounding voice followed. Dragon guessed that was Ian. Then Dragon heard an encouraging voice, and guessed that was Max. The last voice Dragon heard was a calm soothing voice. Dragon guessed that was Mike. Dragon skipped out of the forest pretty sure who would be there. And there they were right by the garden. Dragon waved, hurrying over to them.  160. Fantastic Flyers: a bedtime story & guided meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 18:36

As the airplanes fly above the island the clouds gather. Will they make it back to the hangar before the storm begins? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Fantastic Flyers" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:38 Fantastic Flyers Excerpt: The airplanes gazed out of the hangar at the beautiful blue sky speckled with fluffy clouds. Holly, Hawk and Herb decided it was a good time to see how things were going around their little world. The three planes rumbled out to the runway and one by one, took off. Meeting each other just below the clouds the planes decided to visit the beach first. So Herb took the lead. After all, the beach was the bright yellow plane’s favorite spot to visit.   Right away Herb spotted a blue bucket lounging in the sand and smiled. Holly the green plane laughed as she watched the little blue penguins popping out of the waves. They certainly seemed to be having fun. Hawk the red plane enjoyed watching the palm trees sway back and forth, back and forth. The beach was a soothing place for all three planes.   Then the red plane took the lead. Hawk wanted to check on the land of ice and snow. So off the trio went, flying through the sky. The air grew cooler and cooler, and the ground changed to white as the planes approached the land of ice and snow. Hawk smiled as he watched a beluga whale blow water out of his spout. Herb was flying a bit low and nearly was splashed. All three planes laughed. Then there was a splash! A penguin popped up and then dove back down. The little whale followed.  454. How Does Our Garden Grow? a calming story and meditation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:08

It's Ian and Mike's turn to check on the community garden and it has really changed since they saw it last. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:15 How Does Our Garden Grow? Excerpt: Fluffy clouds drifted across the morning sky as the sun looked for an opening to shine down. It found that opening and sent a cozy sunbeam through Ian’s window. Ian felt the warmth and smiled. His eyes fluttered open and he sat up. Today was his day to check on the garden and he felt curious to see how the plants were doing.   After he dressed, Ian hurried downstairs to eat breakfast. As he ate he kept watching the time. Mike could be there any minute and he didn’t want to be late.   Seeing Ian shoveling his food down, Ian’s dad said, “Slow down, buddy. If Mike gets here early, he’ll wait for you. Let’s take a deep dragon breath.”   Ian really wanted to keep eating, but he knew his dad was right. So, he took a deep dragon breath, in and out, and felt a bit more relaxed. Ian had enough time to finish his breakfast and help his dad do the dishes before Mike got there.   As they finished putting the last clean dish away the doorbell rang. Ian hurried to the door and pulled it open. Waiting there, with a big smile, was Mike.   “Are you ready to see what is growing in our garden?” Mike asked. Num, num, num, num, num.   The milkweed was so delicious, Mac kept on eating and eating. The hole in the leaf grew and grew until… that leaf was gone.   Mac, a little surprised, held onto the stem of the plant and looked around for the next leaf. Marley had already begun nibbling her next leaf, and it was halfway gone. Mac spotted another leaf and so he climbed down to reach it.   On and on the two caterpillars munched their way down the milkweed, until… there were no leaves left. Mac and Marley had eaten the plant down to the ground. Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe..  452. Farming Friends: a bedtime story and meditation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 20:49

Felicity the Farm Truck and Trenton the Tractor spend the morning doing their chores and enjoying the beauty of the farm. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:13 Farming Friends Excerpt: The lights on the farm flickered as the farmer got ready for another big day. Felicity the Farm Truck blinked her lights and yawned. It was time to start working. Although Felicity didn’t like waking up when it was still dark outside, she did enjoy watching the sun rise. It would be a while before that happened, so she got started on her morning chores.   Felicity’s first job was to carry people to their morning tasks. The little green truck rolled across the bumpy ground bouncing as she went. The people riding couldn’t help but laugh, as their ride rolled up and down the fields.   Once everyone was ready to go, Felicity had a moment to enjoy the sunrise. She settled in for the show, and took a deep dragon breath, in and out. Then the farm truck heard a creak. The doors of the big red barn were opening! She turned and rumbled over to the barn, eager to see her best friend. She hoped Trenton the Tractor would hurry out and share this beautiful moment with her.  157. New School: a relaxation and story for your nap time routine | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:35

Today is Raj's first day at his new school. He's feeling nervous. Who will reach out with kindness first? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “New School" and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male The Build Excerpt: It was the first day at Raj’s new school. As he waited for the bus, he began to feel nervous. Raj imagined all kinds of things. He thought about the new friends he would meet. He thought about the new things he would learn this year. Then he took a deep dragon breath in and out and slowed his running thoughts. He knew that staying present would help him through this exciting day. So Raj took another deep breath in and out, and then he took one more deep breath in and out, feeling calm. The bus pulled up and Raj stepped on, not sure where to sit. So, Raj sat down quickly in the front seat. Maybe on the way home, he would know who to sit by. Raj smiled at the kids across the aisle from him and they smiled back. “That wasn’t too bad,” Raj thought. The bus stopped again and again. Most of the kids got on, nodded hello to Raj, and then walked back further on the bus. Then at one bus stop two boys stepped on. "Hi!” one boy said. “Haven’t seen you around before. I’m Owen and this is Andy.” “I’m Raj,” Raj replied. “I just moved here.” “Great! We’ll show you around. Do you mind if I sit here?” Raj shook his head 'no' and Owen sat next to Raj. Andy sat in the seat behind them. The three boys chatted the rest of the way to the school. When the bus stopped Andy said, “OK, follow us. We’ll show you what to do.” Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe.  450. Terrific Tree: a short story and meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 24:04

Peanut and Nutsy the Squirrels check on the acorn they planted. Has it grown since they saw it last? Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 9:39 Terrific Tree Excerpt: Peanut the Squirrel sat on a sturdy branch next to the trunk of the oak tree. She sniffed the air as a breeze circled around her and ruffled her fur. The leaves whistled as the wind danced around them. The red squirrel took a deep dragon breath, in and out,  wondering where her friend Nutsy was. He would enjoy the refreshing breeze too.   Just then, Peanut heard a rustling of leaves. She looked up in time to see Nutsy tumbling down through the branches. Nutsy rolled to a stop at her feet.   “Whoops!” he said as he stood up. “I guess I missed that branch by a little bit. It’s good I have lightning quick reflexes.”   Peanut giggled and shook her head. “If you would slow down just a little Nutsy, you wouldn’t fall through the tree so often. But I’m glad you’re here. Isn’t the breeze wonderful?”   As an answer to her comment the breeze circled the two squirrels, fluffing up their fur.
