 188. Train Talk: a calming story and guided relaxation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:02

Dragon has explored Ahway Island and has met a lot of new friends, but is still curious and nervous to meet people. Will the train talk Dragon into being brave. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Train Talk” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:20 Train Talk Excerpt: The full moon glowed brightly, lighting up the dark blue sky. The dragon smiled and thought about what to do tonight.  The dragon had already visited the beach, the land of ice and snow, and the sanctuary. Although the dragon had friends in each place, the dragon wanted to explore one more.  It was time to explore the land where the people lived.  The dragon thought and thought.  Even though that was the next land to explore, the dragon still felt a bit afraid of how the people would respond to a green and red dragon that can breathe fire.  Should the dragon go to there, or go visit a friend in one of the other lands? Then an idea popped into the dragon’s head. The train spent a lot of time with people. Maybe the train could help. With a determined look, the dragon stepped outside the cave.  A soft Hmmm filled the air and the dragon knew the train was arriving.  The graceful dragon extended its wings and caught the wind, lifting up off the ground, this time heading to the train station.  It was late enough that the dragon expected the people would have already gone home.   As the train stopped at the station just beyond the forest, it felt a little surprised to see its friend, the dragon.  The dragon generally didn’t ride the train until it was returning home after a nighttime adventure.  The doors whooshed open and the dragon stepped aboard.   “Good evening!” the train said, as it began to roll forward along the track. “Usually I don’t see you until later, and then you are really tired.  What’s going on today?”   The dragon smiled and took deep dragon breath in and out the fire showed palm trees swaying, and waves rolling in and out, then the flames transformed the picture into an icy landscape. The fire changed once more into a picture of large trees and large fields. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating on a cloud, and relax into the feeling of lightness.  510. Searching for Treasure: a meditation and relaxing story for children | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 25:42

Mia and Max have a treasure hunt - and Max is helping Mia practice her reading! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:05 Searching for Treasure Excerpt: Mia knocked on her brother’s bedroom door.  Max opened the door a crack, peeked out and when he saw it was Mia, exclaimed, “Not yet, Mia, not yet!”    “How much longer?” Mia asked.  She felt like she had been waiting FOREVER, when in fact, she had only been waiting about 15 minutes.     “Soon, probably another 15 minutes.” Max replied, shutting his bedroom door quickly.   Mia sighed and headed towards her bedroom.  She picked up her T-Rex and Stegosaurus and pretended to have them play tag on her bookshelf.  Soon she had the dinosaurs leaping off a pretend waterfall, swimming to a pretend shore, and hopping on her fire engine to go save the town from a big fire.  She was so busy playing make believe that she didn’t realize how fast the time had passed.  Before she knew it, Max appeared in her doorway.   “Ok, Mia, it’s ready!”  he exclaimed with excitement.   “It is?” Mia replied, dropping her dinosaurs.     “Yes!” Said Max. “You can begin.”   “How do I get started?  Mia asked.   “Here, look at this.”  Max said as he handed Mia a piece of colored paper folded in half with a big number 1 on the outside.  “This is your first clue in the treasure hunt!” Max explained. “That’s why it’s numbered one.  Unfold the paper and read the clue, and that will tell you where to find the next clue!”    “Ok!” Mia exclaimed.  She was very excited to do a treasure hunt but also nervous about having to read the clues.  She was just learning how to read and wasn’t sure how to sound out all the words yet.    Max was excited for his little sister and hopeful he had created the treasure hunt the right way.  This was his first time creating a treasure hunt.  Their mom had created ones for him, when he was Mia’s age, to help him learn to read, and now it was his turn to help Mia in the same way.  187. Costume Parade: a relaxing story and meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:47

Owen and Allie have been invited to a costume party but they're afraid of masks. Will they join in to the costume parade? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Costume Parade” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:37 Costume Parade Excerpt: Allie had been invited to a party at her friend Andy’s house.  She was excited because she loved parties! She also felt nervous.  It was a costume party, and Allie worried that some people would be wearing masks.  She felt afraid when people wore masks.  Uneasy questions filled her mind when she saw a person in a mask.  Who was it? What did they want? Were they kind or mean? Allie usually ran away when a person wearing a mask came near.     All of these thoughts filled her head as she thought about the party. She was so worried about it, that even though she was going to play with her friends Lydia, Andy, Owen, and Raj today, Allie didn’t really feel like going.  What if they wanted to talk about the party?  Allie took a deep dragon breath in and out and felt a bit better.  After all, she did want to see her friends. So, off she went to Raj’s house.   When Allie arrived, Andy, Owen, and Lydia were already there.  As the friends discussed what to play, Lydia told Andy she felt excited about the party, and then Raj agreed with her.  Allie felt worried all over again, her stomach churned. Then Andy asked Owen, “What do you think about the party Owen?”  Owen looked down at his feet feeling embarrassed and said, “I’m not sure if I can go.”   “Why not?” Andy, Raj, and Lydia asked.   Allie jumped in and said, “Hey, it’s ok if he can’t go.  I’m not sure I can either.” She didn’t know Owen’s reason, but felt like she should help him out.   Now, Andy looked hurt.  “Oh.” He said.  “I just hoped that you all would be there.”   Owen sighed, and said, “It’s just… I’m afraid of masks.”   Allie’s mouth dropped, she didn’t think anyone else had that fear.  It felt good knowing she wasn’t alone.  Quickly she admitted “Me too!”  So that Owen could feel better too.   Today’s Meditation: Feel your muscles relax as you check in with your body from head to toe.  508. Which One Fun: a calming children’s story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:07

Bobbi and Blanca Butterfly find some tasty wildflowers on a beautiful morning on Ahway Island. Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:45 Which One Fun Excerpt: Bobbi Butterfly stretched her wings in the early morning sun.  A gentle breeze rustled through the leaves signaling another beautiful day on Ahway Island. The air held a sweet scent.  Bobbi fluttered up into the breeze, curious to find the source of the scent.  As she flitted back and forth, this way and that, the scent got stronger and stronger until she came upon a beautiful meadow of wildflowers.    What a glorious sight it was!  Tall yellow flowers waved in the wind as short purple flowers fluttered close to the ground.  In the middle were bright pink flowers that reflected the sunshine.  Bobbi landed on one of the pink flowers and tasted the nectar inside. It was absolutely delicious.  As she took another taste, another butterfly flitted by and landed on one of the purple flowers next to Bobbi’s pink one.  It was Blanca, Bobbi’s best friend.     “Good Morning, Blanca” Bobbi called cheerfully.   “Bobbi! It’s you! Good morning!” Blanca replied.   “Isn’t it a lovely day?” Bobbi asked.   “Oh yes!” exclaimed Blanca.     “What shall we do today?” Bobbi wondered out loud.   Blanca’s eyes were twinkling with excitement. “I had an idea.  Why don’t we taste as many flowers as possible and figure out which one has the sweetest nectar?”     Both butterflies were very hungry, so this idea was very appealing. Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.  186. Bath Time for Teddy: a kid’s mindful story and guided relaxation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 18:16

Takoda the Teddy bear is worried about taking a bath. What will happen? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Bath Time for Teddy” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:06 Bath Time for Teddy Excerpt: Sitting on a little wooden chair, the fluffy chocolate brown teddy bear gazed out the bedroom window at the dots of light sprinkled across the night sky.  Takoda smiled as the stars twinkled at him.  It was time to get ready for bed.  His boy was busy putting away the toys.  Soon, the room was neat and tidy once again.  Takoda felt ready for bedtime. It had been a long day.     The teddy bear went everywhere with the little boy, and today had been busy.  They had gone grocery shopping with dad, and then to the park with mom and dad.  Takoda had ridden in the grocery cart, as the boy pushed him up and down the aisles.  At the park the little bear had been down the slides, on the swings, and in the sandbox.  In fact, Takoda still had sand on his nose, head, and his squishy tan belly.   As Takoda waited to be placed in his spot on the soft comfy bed, he took a deep dragon breath in and out (deep breath).  The little teddy felt happy and content.  Suddenly, the boy grabbed Takoda by the arm.  “Oh good it’s time for bed.” Takoda thought.  Instead, the boy whisked the teddy bear off to the bathroom.    Takoda had never been in the bathroom before. The room felt warm and cozy.  Takoda could hear water rushing out from the faucet and splashing down into the tub.  Bubbles appeared on the surface of the water and grew until they filled the tub.  The little boy smiled and said, “OK Takoda.  We both got pretty dirty at the park today, so we need a bath.”  The teddy bear knew the boy took baths all the time, so he guessed it would be ok.   The boy’s dad came in to turn off the water and make sure that the temperature felt just right.  Not too hot and not too cold. Then the little boy added his rubber ducky to the water. Takoda watched as it floated through the bubbles.  The boy set the little bear on the tub’s ledge, and sat down in the water. “Is Takoda getting a bath?” His dad asked.   “Well he was just as dirty as I was, so I thought he should have a bath, too.” The boy said. Today’s Meditation: Today, enjoy the feeling of your body relaxing into the warm sand on a sunny beach.  506. Sweep Sweep and Away! A relaxing bedtime story for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:59

Skipper Street Sweeper and his driver Marta clean the streets all around town. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:07 Sweep Sweep and Away! Excerpt: Skipper the Street Sweeper was a happy fellow.  He just loved cleaning the streets of Ahway Island and keeping the island beautiful for everyone to enjoy.  And today was a very exciting day! It was the first of the month, which meant he was going to sweep over by the school and the library, as well as the post office and the grocery store.  There usually were very interesting things to see and sweep away when he was cleaning in town.   It was bright and early morning when Marta opened the overhead door to the garage where Skipper was waiting.  Marta was his driver and he thought she was such fun to work with.  While she was driving, Marta liked to listen to really peppy, cheerful music and Skipper loved the music too.  Or sometimes, Marta would just sing or hum a melody and she had such a pretty voice.   Marta also would wave hello to everyone they passed while cleaning the streets.  All the friendly waves back made Skipper feel really appreciated.   “Ready to go, buddy?” Marta called as she patted Skipper’s hood. Skipper was so excited he wanted to shout “yes” from the rooftops.  He knew exactly what was going to happen next.   Marta hopped into the driver’s seat and rolled down the window of the cab. Skipper’s engine roared to life with a loud VROOOOMMMM and soon they were rolling forward, out of the garage and into the sunlight. Skipper just loved the tickly rumble his engine made.  185. Fire Truck Tour: a soothing story and meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:22

Frankie the Firetruck is excited to see the kindergartners visit him, but he notices some of the kids are afraid. What will frankie do to help? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Fire Truck Tour” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:44 Fire Truck Tour Excerpt: Frankie the fire truck rested outside the firehouse.  Sunlight sparkled on his bright red sides.  Frankie hadn’t been that vibrant in a while, and he was loving it!  He had been polished and shined inside and out.  Today, Frankie was going to have a group of kindergarteners on board for a tour.  The fire truck felt honored.  He wanted the kids to feel safe, knowing that he was always ready to help.  Frankie watched the road as car after car passed by.  He hoped he would see a bus soon.  And then, he saw it.  The bright yellow bus turned into the fire station parking lot.  One by one the little kindergartners carefully stepped down the gigantic steps, one at a time.  The adults held their hands to help the little ones with this task. As all the children reached the ground, the adults settled them into a line, and they waited for instructions.   Frankie beeped a friendly hello, and then a couple of the kindergartners began to cry.  The fire truck felt surprised. He thought that all kids loved to see a fire truck.  Then Frankie noticed quite a few of them were holding their ears. In his excitement, the fire truck had forgotten how loud he could be.  He decided that he would try to be as quiet as he could.  Frankie watched the kindergartners and saw that some were jumping up and down, feeling excited to see him.  Some of the kids were smiling, feeling happy and content.  Some of the kids stepped up on their tippy toes, and peeked around the people in front of them.  They tried to see as much of the fire truck as they could and still be in line.  These kindergartners were definitely a curious bunch.  Then there were a few who were hiding behind the adults, and grasping their hands tightly, feeling scared.   This was definitely an interesting group, with many different needs.   The fire truck opened his doors and the kindergartners walked over with their teachers.  Right away the firemen all said hello, and began to talk about the fire truck.  The curious ones asked:    “How fast can Frankie go?” “How much water can the fire truck carry?” “Is there a dog that rides the fire truck?”   The excited ones said: “I have a toy fire truck at home!”  “My favorite book has a fire truck in it!”  “I’m going to drive a fire truck when I grow up!” Today’s Meditation: Imagine floating in a tranquil pool, safe and relaxed, as the water rocks you gently.  504. A Beautiful Flight: a soothing story and children’s meditation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 23:03

It's a beautiful day and Hazen Hawk enjoys the scenery during a peaceful flight around Ahway Island. Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:16 A Beautiful Flight Excerpt: It was a calm morning. The sun’s light was softened by the blanket of clouds covering the sky. Dew drops speckled the bright green grass, the petals of the white and yellow daisies, and the trees. With a yawn, Hazen Hawk opened his eyes and looked around the branches of the great oak tree in which he had slept so peacefully the night before.   Hazen stretched his wings out, gently brushing the leaves of the tree.   Water droplets fell off the leaves and onto a squirrel sitting below. The squirrel shook his tail, trying to stay dry, and looked up at Hazen, slightly annoyed.   “Uh…Hazen!” called the squirrel! “Excuse me, but…you got water all over me!”   “Oh no, I’m sorry!” replied Hazen, apologetically. “I didn’t mean to! I guess there’s a lot of dew on the trees this morning! My feathers are pretty wet, too. Sorry about that!”   “It’s okay,” said the squirrel with a smile. “I’ll dry off – it’s supposed to get warm out today! Have a nice day flying!” Today’s Meditation: Feel calm and relaxed as you send kind energy to your heart. Looking for a way to help your child learn emotional regulation and how to self soothe?  184. Fly Away: a meditation and relaxing story for children | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 15:03

Mac and Marley the caterpillars wake up to find they have changed. What will they find? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Fly Away” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:40 Fly Away Excerpt: The dragon peeked at the pair of chrysalises in the bush. It had been days since Mac and Marley, the caterpillars, had rested there, and the dragon was hoping that they were ready to come out again.  The chrysalises had already become clear.  The dragon could see something orange and black.  As the dragon watched, the chrysalises began to wiggle.  The excited dragon knew it was time!     Slowly, Marley climbed out of the tight home she had napped in for days.  She looked over at Mac and smiled when she saw him start to emerge from his little home.  Hanging upside down from the branch, Marley began to stretch her wrinkly new wings.  Wait a minute. She had wings?  She looked over at Mac and noticed he had wings too!  When Marley settled in for her nap, she had been a yellow, white and black striped caterpillar. Now, both she and Mac looked like the orange and black butterfly they had seen twirling through the flowers!  Well kind of,… her wings were pretty wrinkled. As she waited for them to relax and lengthen she called to Mac.   “Hey Mac!  Look at this! I have wings! And you do too!” She exclaimed.     Mac smiled at her as he hung upside down and said, “I know! Just wait until they’re relaxed.  Right now mine are so crinkled. But it gives me a chance to enjoy the view.  I’ve never seen the world from this angle.”   “What upside down?” Marley asked.   “Yep!” Mac said.  “Isn’t it neat!”   “It sure is! Marley replied.  “I like the lines underneath the leaves, they’re so delicate and pretty.”   “I like how the light shines up through my feet,” Mac said.  502. A Celebration on Ahway Island: a relaxation & conclusion of our special celebration story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 22:36

Everyone on Ahway Island brings a treasure to share at a big party celebrating friendship! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:21 A Celebration on Ahway Island Excerpt: The sun shone brightly on Ahway Island. The sky was perfectly blue. The ocean waves were gentle. The breeze gently caused the trees and flowers to sway. It was as if the entire island was ready for a wonderful day.   And indeed, everyone on the island was ready for a wonderful day. Today was the day of the big Ahway Island celebration party!   Dragon woke up gently. Something felt special already. Eyes opening, and taking a big stretch, Dragon sat up and looked around. What was happening today? Something big, and something special. Oh yes! All of a sudden, Dragon remembered. Today was the day of the big Ahway Island party!   Quickly getting up, Dragon hurried outside. Oh yes, it was a gorgeous day, perfect for an outdoor celebration. Everyone had been asked to find a treasure to bring to the party to share with everyone else. Dragon’s treasure was strawberries, which would be picked from a small clearing not too far from the cave. Dragon would go pick them now to have plenty of time before the party.   Taking deep Dragon Breaths, savoring the fragrant morning air, Dragon walked quickly to the clearing where the strawberries were growing. Reaching the clearing, Dragon looked around for something to put the berries into after they were picked. Oh, that would be perfect – a great big banana plant leaf!  183. The Search: a kid’s mindful story and guided relaxation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:04

Inspired by Odin the owl's story Dragon searches for Opel the oak in the enchanted forest. Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “The Search” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:17 The Search Excerpt: Sunlight flickered at the entrance of the dragon’s cave, gently teasing the sleepy dragon to come outside.  The dragon smiled and remembered the owl’s tale. The story of Opel the ancient Oak, chopped down to a stump, and now sustained through the love and energy of the other trees through their roots had really impressed the caring dragon.  Now that the dragon had satisfied the forest animals’ curiosity, it was time to search for that magnificent tree.  The determined dragon sat up from the mossy bed and stretched.  First, it was time to think about how to approach the challenge.  It would be difficult to spot the stump flying above. The other trees would have Opel shielded. So the dragon would need to explore on foot.  The dragon had never seen the tree stump, so the Oak was probably further into the forest than the dragon had been.  The dragon needed a plan to find a way home, since the oak stump was probably in an area of the forest where it would be easy to get lost.  The dragon looked around the cave and found some sparkling rocks.  They would work great! The dragon could set them on the ground as a clue of which way to go.  The dragon filled a little bag with the sparkling rocks and set off on the adventure.   The forest felt peaceful today. Sunshine filtered through the trees and danced on the ground, as branches swayed and leaves fluttered in the breeze.  Everything still looked very familiar.  All the paths were open and friendly.  The dragon knew from Odin the Owl’s story, that Opel the Oak stump was tucked deep in the forest, far away from the easy paths.  Looking carefully at the trees and the ground for any sign of an old path, the observant dragon noticed that the trees seemed to be growing closer together. The dragon smiled, thinking this was probably the way to the old oak. The clever dragon took a sparkling rock out of the bag and placed it on the ground outside one tight opening. The dragon weaved through the tight trees, stopping occasionally to set a sparkling rock on the ground, to show the way home.  Now the trees were so close, it was becoming difficult for the dragon to get through.  As the dragon squeezed between two pine trees, it thought they mumbled something.  Listening intently, the dragon decided it must have been the wind.  The dragon kept moving forward, careful to move the branches gently, when they were in the way.  Voices echoed in the wood.  “Look at this one.”  “Do you think it’s ok to let it by?”  “See how gently it moves our branches.” “I think it’s ok.” Now the dragon knew it was the trees who were whispering, not the wind.  Opel the oak must be close.  The trees must have sensed the kindness in the dragon, because they began to move their branches gently out of the way, so the dragon could pass through.  Weaving through the last bit of the tight forest, the dragon finally reached a slight opening. Sun shined brightly on a large stump, surrounded by happy purple and white flowers.  The dragon smiled, knowing that this must be Opel the oak.  The dragon stood still for a moment, taking in the energy of peace, love, and an ancient wisdom that filled the air.  500. The Treasure Hunt: a meditation & extra-special celebratory story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 21:58

Everyone on Ahway Island is preparing for a big celebration by finding a treasure to bring to the party. What will Dragon bring? Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 8:14 The Treasure Hunt Excerpt: It was a glorious morning on Ahway Island. The temperature was warm but not hot, the breeze was refreshing but not cold, and the sky was sunny but still sprinkled with white clouds. In the cozy cave, Dragon slowly woke up and stretched, taking a deep Dragon Breath in and out (deep breath). This was a very special day indeed, Dragon remembered. There was going to be an extra-special party the following afternoon in the big clearing in the middle of the Forest – a party celebrating the entire Ahway Island Family! Everyone had been asked to find a “treasure” – some little, special thing that could be brought to the party for everyone to enjoy.   After fully awakening, Dragon headed out of the cave and into the bright sunshine. What a gorgeous day! A crisp breeze rustled through the trees. Dragon breathed in the fresh, fragrant air, smiling. But what was that? Carried on the breeze was a sound – the sound of singing! After a moment of careful listening, Dragon recognized the voices. It was Freeda, Fernando, and Felicity Frog! They were singing in harmony about the upcoming party, to remind all the animals in the forest to be sure to attend.    “An Ahway Island Celebration!” they sang. “Join our friends in jubilation! Bring a treasure then to share and show each other that you care!”    Suddenly, Dragon saw something move in a nearby tree as Gerry Robin landed on a branch. She waved a wing at Dragon and sang out:   “Just bring a little something, anything at all; everyone is welcome, answer to the call!” Today’s Meditation: Rest among the twinkling stars with today's meditation.  182. A Train Ride: a bedtime story and guided meditation for kids | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 19:17

Billy and Emily are excited to ride the sparkling train. What will they see? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Train Ride” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Female Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 7:52 A Train Ride Excerpt: The doors slid open with a whoosh.  Emily and Billy stepped aboard the sparkling train. Their heads turned as they took note of every little detail.  Emily had already pointed out the dark blue solar paint on the train twinkling like the stars in the night sky.  Billy smiled at his little sister and asked.  “Where should we sit?”   “How about right here!” She said, enthusiastically pointing to a seat about halfway through the train. Then she bowed and motioned for her brother to sit by the window.    “Thanks Emily, but you’re shorter than me.  So, if you sit by the window, both of us will be able to see.” Billy said.   “OK!” Emily said and slid into her spot. Their parents smiled knowingly at each other and sat down in the seat behind them.  Then the train slowly began to roll forward.  “We’re moving!” Emily exclaimed.   “Look! We’re going up to the elevated tracks!” Billy said.   “I’m so excited! I better take some deep dragon breaths!”  Emily said.   “Me too!”  Billy said, and with that they both took a deep breath in and out. “How are you?” Billy asked his little sister.  She squealed with excitement “I need another dragon breath!”   “OK, me too!”  Billy said through a gigantic smile, and they both took a deep breath in and out.   There was a giggle from their parents as Emily asked her brother “Are you ready now?”    “Let’s take one more deep dragon breath.”  He suggested, and they did.   “That’s better.” Emily said still smiling widely. “Oh! Look outside!  The forest is beautiful!” It was.  The needles on the fir trees fluttered as the train passed.  Emily could see sunshine streaming through the branches of the trees decorating the ground like a lace tablecloth.  498. A Rosy Home: a calming children’s story | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 22:08

Letitia Ladybug searches for just the right new home! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:16 A Rosy Home Excerpt: It was a bright sunny day.  All the flowers had been excited to open themselves up to the brightness of the day as the warmth of the sun’s rays settled on their petals. Their sweet scents wafted on the breeze, drifting across the fields until they reached the tall stalk of grass on which a little ladybug was sleeping.   Leticia Ladybug had been fast asleep all morning, cozily curled up on the bright green stalk of grass. The stalks had been waving gently in the breeze, back and forth, back and forth. But the breeze strengthened as the morning wore on, and finally, a gust of wind sent the stalk suddenly dipping toward the earth below.   “Oops!” said Letitia in surprise, now fully awakened as she plummeted toward the earth. But a moment later, the gust had blown by and the stalk had righted itself, and was again standing straight and tall. Letitia yawned and stretched her wings. She took a deep Dragon Breath in and out, enjoying the fragrance of the flowers in the air. It was time to start her day!   And it was an important day! Today, Leticia was going to look for a new home.  She knew what she was looking for: someplace soft, sturdy, and warm. The best option would be a flower blossom, if she could find just the right one!  181. Imagine This! A meditation and story for your bedtime routine | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 17:15

Chance the Cardboard box is ready for his next adventure! What will the kids imagine today? Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Imagine This!” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday! Narrator: Male Final 3 Dragon Breaths: 6:49 Imagine This! Excerpt: The little kitty purred, happily resting in the cardboard box.  Its soft fur tickled Chance and he giggled.  The cardboard box felt curious, wondering where the kids’ powerful imaginations would take him today.  He heard their laughter growing louder, and guessed he would find out soon.    “Ready for the continuing adventures of the changing cardboard box?” the boy asked his sister.   “I’m ready if you are.” She said. “You get to use your idea first.  Since I went first last time.”  The box thought that was pretty nice, and wondered what the boy’s idea was.   “OK!” the boy said, “Hop on board the express train.”   “Where are we going?” The little girl asked.   “You’ll see.” The boy replied.   With that the boy and girl hopped into the box.  Chance did his best train impersonation as they rolled out of the station.  The carpet around him slowly faded away, and Chance could see train tracks lying in front.  He heard chug a chug a chug a chug choo choo, and felt the breeze flowing by.  Wherever they were headed would be magical. The cardboard box knew that much. Chance was chugging along his track when the magical door appeared in front of him, just as it had before.   “There it is!” The little girl exclaimed.
