Patrick completed his orthopedic residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. When I interview individuals and their transition to a whole foods plant based diet we here amazing health transformations, reversal of disease and a new lease on life. Now imagine having that lease on life since birth. Meet Mark Huberman who has adhered to a plant-based diet for all of his 67 years and credits his excellent health to the diet upon which he was raised. He is currently the President of the National Health Association (NHA) which is a non-profit organization that has promoted the benefits of a plant-based diet for decades. The Association provides educational materials, educational events, and services to thousands of people around the world. He literally grew up with the National Health Association having attended his first "Convention" with his parents Max and Ruth Huberman in 1964 at the age of 13. He began his service to the NHA (then called the ANHS) as a national board member at age 18 and has served the Association for the past 51 years on just about every level. The NHA also holds an annual conference and this year it will be June 29–July 1 in Cleveland, Ohio.
