 The Inside Line: S1E18 - Dancing with a Ski Star | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 22:51

Ski races may be unpredictable, but there’s comfort in the predictability of the annual cycle. The season ends. Athletes retire. National governing bodies name their armies for the coming season. Summer camps begin and injured athletes make their returns to competition. We’re still in the retirement and team naming phase, and on this week’s episode of The Inside Line, Gabbi takes you through the latest headlines before sharing an interview with this week’s guest from Slovenia. Remember Ilka Stuhec? She dominated in speed during the 2016-17 World Cup season, took home two discipline globes and won over hearts around the world. Then, in October, the Slovenian superstar crashed and tore the ACL in her left leg—a rough blow heading into the Olympic season. However, Stuhec is no stranger to the recovery process, and has taken the challenge in stride. We know she's an awesome speed skier but did you know she could also dance?!  For show notes and related links for this episode click HERE.
