Picabo won Olympic gold in the Nagano super-G in 1998 and also took home a silver in downhill four years earlier in Lillehammer.  She also earned three World Championship medals including winning the downhill at the 1996 World Champs in Sierra Nevada, Spain. Since retiring at the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002, Picabo has stayed involved in the sport and will be taking part in the opening ceremony of the U.S. National Championships in March. Alex Rotas is a retired academic and competitive tennis player who took up photography when she recognized that the media was mainly portraying people over 60 as either retired, redundant or immobile. She determined that it was time to shift the focus, instead of bemoaning the absence of positive pictures, and decided to portray the active and engaged aspects of senior life. She brought a camera, found a tutor and made it her mission to be a sports photojournalist covering a range of sports for seniors already, including the European Masters Athletics Championships, the Indoor Rowing Championships, squash and tennis. In fact, the Canadian leads the standings in every discipline but GS, and she has won nearly 50 percent of the NorAm races she has started in this season. The former University of Utah athlete made her World Cup debut in the speed races at Lake Louise, Canada, but didn't hit her stride until she earned points at the slalom race in Lienz, Austria. It's often runs of a concurrent disorder. kendra believes that we have this, especially in the athletic world; we have this belief that we have to be able to maintain ourselves. Britain’s Holly Budge started off her sporting life while still a toddler when she began riding eventually taking up eventing. when she reached 20 something she discovered skydiving and was soon to move to New Zealand where she learned filming and became the first woman to became the third woman in New Zealand at the time to be a skydiving camerawoman. In 2008 she took up her next challenge and became the first woman to skydive off Mount Everest. The following year, she took part in the famous Mongol Derby covering 1000 kms in just 9 days. Since then she she has taken on some of the world’s highest peaks  and led a successful expedition on the technical Ama Dablam (6812m) in Nepal.  Holly is passionate about sustainability, design and conservation and has a Masters in Sustainable Design. She is currently combining a campaign with an exhibition entitled  ‘How Many Elephants’ which presents a physical commentary on the devastating impacts of the elephant ivory trade. 96 elephants are poached every day which at that rate, would make them extinct by 2025.
