The Queens of Darkness are very Rumpelesque when they meet the Charmings to make a deal Ursula “tentacled” a mysterious box from beyond Belle’s back, however once it was taken and she was asked if anything was stolen, she knew based on her records. She kept great records! Did you notice Cruella’s Dalmatian spotted cellphone cover? It was great to see Geppetto and little Pinocchio again, but if only they had adult Pinocchio… Another quest – Go to the Tree of Wisdom to find out how to defeat Regina’s plan. It requires 2 of the most Valiant to approach and ask. Sheriff “Chisel Chin” pulls over Cruella and Ursula. Charming found what Ursula took from Gold’s shop, but wasn’t honest with Emma. Big Love. Well, if she wants to see me, You can tell her that I’m easily found, Tell her there’s a spot out ‘neath Abram’s Bridge, And tell her, there’s a darkness on the edge of town. Everybody’s got a secret, Sonny, Something that they just can’t face, Some folks spend their whole lives trying to keep it, They carry it with them every step that they take. Till some day they just cut it loose Cut it loose or let it drag ’em down, Where no one asks any questions, or looks too long in your face, In the darkness on the edge of town. Some folks are born into a good life, Other folks get it anyway, anyhow, I lost my money and I lost my wife, Them things don’t seem to matter much to me now. Tonight I’ll be on that hill ’cause I can’t stop, I’ll be on that hill with everything I got, Lives on the line where dreams are found and lost, I’ll be there on time and I’ll pay the cost, For wanting things that can only be found In the darkness on the edge of town. Ursula and Cruella summoned to Maleficent’s Forbidden Fortress by a mysterious person (That rhymes with KumpelGilskin). It’s a classic “gather the participants together” tropes (Like the movie “Murder on the Orient Express” or “Clue”). Was the summon note written in magical squid ink, I wonder? Cruella breaths magical smoke to beguile or enchant creatures. Cruella’s Hell hounds? 8:15 going to 8:16 again. Starting over – again. Things are Changing in Storybrooke theme. Henry is back at school. Henry taking the bus. Regina is letting go of the control of Henry. Good steps for Regina. We see Snow teaching what appears to be High School students. We see notes about birds on the chalkboard and she is holding a bird on her finger, which hearkens back to the Pilot. Regina returns to the Mayor’s office. She “hotly” removes the picture Snow put up. Granny is Neal’s babysitter. Emma suits up and grabs the Sheriff’s badge to reclaim that role. Hook gets Emma coffee to start her day. Very progressive. We see that Gold’s Pawn Shop is Closed. Hook is very frustrated about the Fairies being trapped in the hat, and especially the fact that he had a hand in it. Belle let’s him know that between the internet and “the finest minds in the world,” they would find a way to rescue the Fairies from the magical hat. Unlike alot of people i really loved this half season and this was a great end. My top 5 5) Frozen gang returns to Arandelle This was a sad moment for me. Elizabeth Lail as Anna is one of my all time favorite characters on this show and she will be sorely missed. Im so happy she had a hand in saving everyone. Anna looked absolutely glorious in her wedding gown, and i loved our one last frozen reference… CHOCOLATE!! 4) The Queens of Darkness Can Cruella turn herself into a dalmatian on command? Maybe this is her superpower. I love Maleficents new look. She finally looks legit, i thought she looked dumb in season one. Cruella also is spot on. She already is terrifying. Those eyebrows haha. I dont care for Ursula so far but hopefully she’ll grow on me. My pet theory is Lilly is Cruella De Vil because Lilith is a demon in many stories and De vil.. Devil so theres that. One question, Rumple needs to make 2 more stops? Maleficent is a wraith beneath the clock tower… How does he think he can find her? 3)Regina and Robin/Marian Im so proud of Regina making the right decision. It was so heart breaking at the town line, second most heart wrenching part of the show. Alot of people predicted this and it came to fruition. I felt how we got there was kind of silly and contrived but alas it is once upon a time. Also, how in the blue heck is Robin anymore qualified for dealing with the regular world than Marian? I still am pretty sure we haven’t seen the last of Robin so there’s hope yet for Regina #RIPOUTLAWQUEEN 2) The Sorcerer is the author!! This was my theory all season and i suppose i was correct it seems. Very cool seeing that room. Did Henry just go around pulling on lights till he found a secret room? Henry, please dont call Belle Grandma ever again!! Too much awkward. 1)Rumples Story / End of Rumbelle Another Magical plot device, but it was nice to get another Camelot reference, and it showed Belle Rumples true self so i suppose it was useful! So epic finding out the house was the sorcerer’s, which i also had predicted all along. Cool to see the walking broom again and hear the amazing sorcerer’s apprentice theme. Really Hook needs to get a bruise checked? Real subtle Rumple!! The scene in the clock tower turned observatory was really cool. Awesome effects on the stars. So glad Rumple didn’t get to kill Hook. So now for Rumple and Belle at the town line.

Deb ————– From Chris Wow where to begin with this episode. I have extremely mixed feelings about this one. Some things i really liked, but some I found just stupid, namely, Emmas plot. What the freak!! I found this to be one of the most ridiculous things to ever be on this show!! A few lines from queenie makes her go berserk? What is she like the electric type pokemon, her magic makes everything electric go haywire, or maybe shes an alien. (you know cuz aliens supposedly make electric stuff go nuts) Just really didn’t enjoy this at all. I did enjoy the ending of it and the payoff i just thought it was way over the top. Next, Robin and Regina, this disgusted me. Robin is supposed to be a man of honor. His wife, whether she was gone for a time or not, she is back, frozen, and all he is concerned with is boinking with Regina. I understand these are extraordinary circumstances, but there are way classier ways to handle it. Next, the frozen storyline is starting to bug me as well. I feel like they’ve completely undone all the character development from the movie. I don’t like the twist of Anna putting Elsa in the urn at all, Shattered sight or not. Part of me did find it cool them playing off Elsa always saying go away Anna, but as such a huge fan of the movie, I just hated seeing Anna turn on Elsa. I guess that just increases Ingrids evil. So neat how they sort of broke the fourth wall with Ingrid basing what shes doing on a book like the show itself is based on a book. I felt it was way out of character for charming and snow to encourage Emma to get rid of her Magic. I feel like the Charming and snow we know would never do this. Ok, enough negativity. Some things I love… Elizabeth Lail is still amazing as anna, positively enchanting. She captures the spirit of Anna so well. Its incredible this is her first big role. Ive got a feeling big things are in store for her. I love where Regina and Snows relationship is at!! Their conversation in the woods and Regina believing in hope was just awesome. She owes Snow a quarter. Beautiful moment. I do wonder how this will affect operation mongoose since Regina now knows her fate is affected by her choices, not what the author wrote. So Rumple needs Hooks heart. I guess my theory was wrong but I should have seen this coming. Everything in this show ties back to hearts one way or another. Im glad they’ve stopped flip flopping with Rumple and hes just embracing his dark side. Robert Carlyle is at his best when Rumple is at his worst. I love it.

Ingrid and her sisters were very cute together. Im glad Helga isnt related to anyone, or anyone we know (cough, cough bells mom). Once again we see someone go to Rumple and it ends badly. I really love how the progression of they’re story made sense, and the tragic end to it really makes me sympathize with Ingrid more. It kind of surprised me that Gerta trapped Ingrid in the urn, i thought they’re love was stronger than that, but I can see it, given the horrific circumstances. I found it fascinating how this was almost a fan fic of how frozen could have turned out!! Is it just me or did Helga look nothing like Emma… Did they forget that point? Now, outlaw queen… Holy snot im so proud of Regina. I feel like shes almost Snow levels of good now. She deserves Robins choice, but its still sort of jacked up of Robin… Today is not the day I follow my code!! Ok dude!! I suppose he can blame it on him being imbued with much dark liquor (credit for that goes to Daniel Lewis from ONCE podcast, i can’t take credit for his genius) Anyway, Emmas Lord of the Rings reference was genius! Aurora and her “devil box”, shes really getting acquainted with our technology!! We see Ashley for no reason for the first time in forever (sing it!!) They completely trolled us when Robin asked Will what happened to Anastasia and he just gave no answer at all, but troll of the week goes to Gold…tricking Henry with the magical potion of furniture polish, and black cat at that! Ingrid using Emmas jealously about her brother and uncertainty about her parents to set her powers off… Shes so wickedly twisted!! Even though i get her somewhat now, shes still coo-coo for cocoa puffs!! Her look when Emma blew out the wall was priceless!! She looked completely bat crap insane in that scene! Ive been saying all along she will become the best villain yet and I really feel vindicated after this episode. Elizabeth Mitchell is so talented!! Why does she want her ribbons back, what did she tell Rumple that he could have been so gleeful to have to do? Overall This was my favorite episode this year 4.8 out of 5 Shattered sister’s – Chris Tipton ————— From Chris Ivd been racking my brain all morning, and ive finally come up with something. What if Rumple has to find the actual sorcerer, who is the real owner of the hat, and kill him. Rumple may or may not already know who it is. One the original owner is dead, Rumple can have full ownership and full control of its power. Thats my pet theory and im sticking to it!!

My thoughts on 4×05 “Family Business: Bells back story was very cool, nice to see this connecting with what we already know about bell and also revealing that it was her idea to call on Rumple to win the Ogars war. I did feel it was out of character for Bell to lie to Elsa like that and for her to use the dagger on Rumple. I guess they did figure out a cool way for her to figure out his secret, but then he just pulls the wool over her eyes and she believes it. Bells been way to big a pushover this season to me. I love seeing more of the Ingrids plans. I was disappointed with her endgame last week but finding out more this week shows her desires as unique and very twisted. Shes completely psychotic!! Nice to know she really is there aunt… More characters related, didn’t see that coming. Also how did no one else know she had an ice cream truck? So proud of Regina, shes come so far!! Who would have thought she would tell Robin to Forget her to save Marian?! I really want to know How Rumple knows Ingrid… Maybe he trained her to? Ingrids mirror is very creepy, it’s nice to know how it works now. And lastly that house was obviously Ingrids since she had the hat and she still thought she did till Rumple showes her otherwise. Since this is my first time writing to you, I just wanted to give you a few of my thoughts on what I think of the episode “Family Business.” •OAKEN IS BEST GUEST CHARACTER!!! •Where did they put Maid Marian??? Did they stick her in a huge freezer so she wouldn’t melt??? •Since “Gerda” is the name of Elsa and Anna’s mother, I can only assume that Elsa and Anna’s father’s name is “Kai,” being that those are the two main character’s names from Hans Christian Andersen’s original story. • Belle can climb Rocky Mountains in heels LIKE A BOSS! •I think the way the Snow Queen’s spell of “Shattered Sight” is going to turn everyone against each other is going to be the same way it was used the original fairytale.
