 Brannon Howse: Aired July 25, 2012 | File Type: audio/x-mp3 | Duration: 00:00

On Today’s program Brannon talks about this weekend’s Restoring Love Rally hosted by Glenn Beck as well as a spiritual event that is described as being “separate from, but in conjunction with, the Glenn Beck ‘Restoring Love’ gathering on July 28 in Cowboys Stadium.” Featured speakers will include Catholics, Word of Faith proponents Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, and sadly, David Jeremiah, Ravi Zacharias, and Tony Evans. Why would such Christian men like Zacharias, Jeremiah and Evans be involved in such an ecumenical event? For those that think they can work with Glenn Beck to get America back to the Constitution, listen to parts of a speech by LDS president Ezra Taft Benson as he describes the Mormon view of the Constitution and how it will hang by a thread and the LDS church will save America. We take your calls as well. Two years ago Brannon predicted that Beck’s August 2010 rally, that included many evangelicals, created a seismic shift in evangelicalism. The willingness of Bible teachers to speak for this event is further proof of this seismic shift. What will this event lay the foundation for in the next two years?

Question: How many Apostles of Jesus Christ were there? Question: Is there such a thing as dying grace for the believer? Question: Do you believe God's word teaches infant baptism? What scripture verses can we use to reveal the truth? And do you think this is false teaching that can lead people astray? Question: What is the biblical definition of gossip? Question: How do you answer unbelievers who perceive that we are cherry picking what we want out of the Old Testament when we invoke the verses about homosexuality but ignore the verses about stoning an adulterer? Question: How should Christians respond to the issue of tattooing? Question: How should we respond to those that teach soul sleep? Question: Rev. 4:4 states: “And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.” Who are the 24 elders? The commentary in my Bible said they are patriarchs from the Old Testament, Adam to Pharez. But if the Old Testament saints are not resurrected until just before the Second Coming, how can this be? Question: Many people believe that speaking in tongues is evidence that one has received the Holy Spirit and as a result they believe that speaking in tongues is mandatory for salvation. When I Corinthians 12:30 is explained to them they claim misinterpretation of the passage. What would you say to those who hold the view that speaking in tongues is evidence that you have received the Holy Spirit? Topic: We take your calls.

Worldview Weekend Radio with Brannon Howse presents: The greatest evidence that we are living in the last days by Dr. Jimmy DeYoung. The world today is changing from moment to moment and if we are to have a proper worldview it must not only be based on the Word of God, but also the passages in the scriptures that lay out for us the end of time scenario that God wants us all to know and understand in these days. In the Middle East we can see many geopolitical events happening that seem to be setting the stage for Bible Prophecy to be fulfilled. There is an alignment of the Middle Eastern nations, the Arab and the Muslim nations, that are forming a co-olation that is making ready to attack the Jewish state of Israel. At the same time there are other nations that are working to bring peace to the Middle East, even as the conflict only intensifies. With the withdrawal of the American soldiers from Iraq in December of 2011 we see the insurgency getting stronger in Iraq as the war-torn nations tries to rebuild. But most significant in the evidence that helps us to know that we are living in the last days is the fact that while all of these activities are happening around the Jewish people in Israel they are working to make all preparations for the building of the next Jewish Temple to be built on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. There is only one thing for the Jewish people to do before they can build the next Temple, they must clear off the location where the Temple will be built, the Temple Mount must be cleared of any buildings that stand there today. All other preparations have been made and the Jews are ready to rebuild the Temple.

Part Two: On today’s broadcast we feature a Branson 2012 Keynote Presentation. In this fast past presentation Brannon gives twenty characteristics of false teachers as described in God’s Word. Brannon gives a Biblical reference for each characteristic. How can you protect yourself, your family, your friends, and your church if you do not know how to identify false teachers? Romans 16:17 instructs true believers to “mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” This presentation will equip you with the facts you need to contend earnestly for the faith against false teachers as commanded in Jude 3-4, Acts 20:28-31. With each of these twenty characteristics, Brannon not only provides a Scriptural basis, but he also provides compelling examples of how each of these characteristics are easily visible among the false teachers of today’s evangelicalism. Brannon gives examples of how and why many of today’s biggest false teachers are now enthusiastically embraced by many of today’s most popular “evangelical” leaders and pro-family organizations.
