Brannon’s guest is his Pastor, Dr. Chuck Herring to discuss his recent trip to the Republic of Cameroon, which is a country in west Central Africa. Dr. Herring worked with a seminary that is currently training 110 men for full-time ministry. Today’s program reveals that God’s church is alive and well all over the world.

 Brannon Howse: Aired December 19, 2012 | File Type: audio/x-mp3 | Duration: 00:00

Brannon’s guest is Pastor Parker Reardon who pastors Newtown Bible Church just three minutes from the Sandy Hook School in Connecticut where 6 adults and 20 children were murdered last week. Pastor Reardon reports that he was interviewed live by CNBC and stated that President Obama’s focus on gun control was the wrong focus and it should be the depraved heart of man. Pastor Reardon reports that his interview was scrubbed. Reardon’s associate pastor Joey was in the firehouse when the parents were officially told their children had perished. How did most of the local clergy respond? Pastor Reardon also talks about how he and his church are passing out tracks as well as copies of the book by John MacArthur, “Save in the Arms of God.” Reardon talks about the difficulty in pastoring in this part of the country and challenges our radio audience to use all occasion to proclaim the gospel.  Brannon Howse: Aired December 18, 2012 | File Type: audio/x-mp3 | Duration: 00:00

Brannon’s guest is Dr. John Whitcomb for “Ask Dr. John.” Question: Most in my Bible study group were baptized as babies – some Catholic, some Lutheran. By the grace of God we are now believers and study His Word, and we are saved. Should we be baptized again, as we are now believers? Does it matter if it is by immersion or not? Question: I Cor. 7:14: If I am saved through Jesus Christ and my wife or children are unbelievers, are they saved through my salvation? Question: The church is described as the "Bride of Christ." What exactly does that mean? There is only one Jesus and millions or even billions of individuals making up "the church." Also, Jesus said we would not be married, but would be like the angels in heaven in our glorified bodies (cf. Matt. 22:30). So how does this resemble marriage? Will our intimacy in heaven be so complete that it will make physical intimacy obsolete? Question: I know that the church will not be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment, but will the church witness it as an observer? Question: What would you say about a church that invites a woman pastor to speak at a women's conference? The church does not have a woman pastor, but has invited one from another church. Question: We have some confusion on Genesis 1. How could we have an evening and a morning if the sun and moon weren't created until the fourth day? Question: How do we explain Peter in Acts 10:10 and 11:5 where it mentions Peter in “a trance"? Question: We are confused by Acts 10:34-35. Is this God calling the chosen? What is “righteousness”? Question: When does a person receive the Holy Spirit? Is it when we become believers or does every person have the Holy Spirit already prompting him to come to God through Jesus Christ? (See Acts 10: 44-48.) Topic: We take your calls.

 Brannon Howse: Aired December 17, 2012 | File Type: audio/x-mp3 | Duration: 00:00

Brannon’s guest is Dr. Randy White to discuss “forgiveness” but first Brannon shares his concern that the media and liberal elite are using the Connecticut tragedy to push for liberal laws that would too readily classify average Americans as “mentally disturbed.” The Department of Homeland Security has already classified people interested in end time Bible prophecy or people who are pro-life as potential terrorists. In his book Grave Influence that was released in 2009, Brannon predicted an increase in laws that would seek to classify conservatives and Christians as mentally troubled. Topic: The Bible says that if we do not forgive others. God will not forgive us. What does this mean? Topic: With the events that happened in Newtown, Connecticut, should Christians offer forgiveness to the shooter? Topic: Should I offer forgiveness on someone else's behalf? Topic: Is it okay for a person to ask forgiveness from God, but not ask for that forgiveness from the person they've offended? (You could segue into this question by saying that some people may want to "leave well enough alone" or "let sleeping dogs lie") Topic: when a person wants to ask forgiveness, what should they do? Topic: If a person is giving forgiveness, what are they pledging? Topic: Who should we forgive? Topic: If we have truly forgiven a person, does this mean we should be willing to enter into a relationship with them on future activities? Topic: What happens when we don't forgive? Topic: We take your calls.

Brannon responds to the heart-breaking murders in Connecticut of 26 people, of which 18 were children, at Sandy Hook School. Each day we see example of how depraved and wicked is the heart of man. Brannon gives you the information you need to answer this common question and take what is common to the culture and turn it into a pulpit. Brannon also explains why most gun free zones make no sense and put people in great danger. Topic: Dr. DeYoung explains from the Bible why he believes Jesus was actually born in December. Topic: Dr. Jimmy DeYoung joins Brannon as his guest. Dr. DeYoung lived in Israel for 22 years and shares how many of the teachers in Israel are armed as are countless young people that walk the street in casual clothes as part of their mandatory military service. Topic: Why are older American’s investing in a gold IRA or cashing out? Topic: Hear the audio of Rick Warren talking about being mentored by Peter Drucker for 30 years. Brannon explains the worldview of Peter Drucker. Hear the audio of Rick Warren talking about how to keep your church/organization relevant. Why is Rick Warren’s model not Biblical? Brannon explains how Rick Warren’s presentation clearly represents the existentialist worldview of Peter Drucker who learned it from Soren Kierkegaard. Topic: We take your calls.

 Brannon Howse: Aired December 11, 2012 | File Type: audio/x-mp3 | Duration: 00:00

In the November 10, 2012 L.A. Times reported that Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family, is declaring that Christian conservatives have lost the fight against same-sex marriage. The L.A. Times reported that Daly was interested in a more bipartisan plan and finding common ground with liberals and the Obama Administration. Daly was reported in the L.A. Times to have said "Maybe we've been looking in the wrong direction and we’ve got to be more ecumenical.”" Brannon explains why he believes in the coming years more and more pro-family groups will become more ecumenical and become silent on the issue of same-sex marriage in order to remain “relevant,” popular, and effective in fund-raising. As a new generation of “conservatives” and “Christian Americans” no longer see same-sex marriage as unbiblical, but instead the new civil rights movement, more and more pro-family groups will choose to be silent on the controversial issues of which their own base has abandoned. Such groups will be led by the same pragmatism that caused them several years ago to justify their ecumenical projects and partnership with false teachers in order to increase their donor base and the success of their organizations. Brannon explains that such a trend should come as no surprise because many pro-family groups abandoned a commitment to Biblical theology and doctrine years ago. Once Biblical theology is no longer defended and no longer the foundation; the standard natural becomes pragmatism and the cultural stream. The goal of Churches and Christian” organizations will increasingly become about worldly success, attracting and maintaining donors and appearing relevant. To aid in making his case, Brannon plays a recent audio clip by Dr. John MacArthur in which he explained to his congregation the Sunday after the re-election of President Obama that their focus should not be supporting those fighting the culture war and political battles but those preaching the gospel. We open up our phone lines for your response.

On today’s program Brannon discusses the dangers of collective salvation, group consensus, existentialism and how the false church in Nazi Germany embraced these ideas and how they are being embraced again by a rising, global, false church. Martin Heidegger was the First Nazi Rector of a German University. Martin Heidegger was influenced by Søren Kierkegaard and Kierkegaard also influenced the false church with his belief in subjective truth. Heidegger promoted deconstructionism in Germany and when he joined the Nazi party he aided the Nazi party in teaching the idea of community and collective salvation to the false church in Germany. Heidegger helped to indoctrinate the church in both existentialism and the idea of collectivism, group consensus, and denial of the value and worth of the individual. These philosophies helped to lay the foundation for the Nazi holocaust. How have postmodernism, existentialism, and collective salvation come into the modern church today? What serious consequences could result in today’s world from these dangerous philosophies? How do the New Religious Right and Religious Left embrace group consensus and collective salvation albeit in different forms?
