In the final hour of the opening week of The Bench, John and Lance start with some discussion about what the Texans might be able to do this offseason and the whole Eli Manning situation. As the show rolls on, they continue the talk about Jimbo heading to A&M, what he is going to do for the program, and then hilarity ensues when they discuss some crazy stories that Lance dug up.
In the final show of their first week on the air, John and Lance kick it off with a little football talk to preview the Texans-Titans matchup this weekend and later they discuss the Jimbo Fisher to Aggieland situation. At the bottom of the hour, they are joined by Peter Burns from the SEC Network to talk about the coaching vacancies in the SEC and how Bama might sneak into the playoff.
