To start off the second hour, the guys delve into some more Tiger talk and speculate on Kawhi’s future with the Spurs based on Stephen Jackson’s recent comments. They talk Floyd Mayweather transitioning to the MMA and UH’s Rob Gray’s stellar performance in his first career tournament game to close out the show.
In the first hour, John and Lance recap the first day of the tournament, including a UH win over San Diego State, Miami getting bounced, and Arizona getting destroyed by Buffalo. In NFL news, the guys discuss the Texans bringing back Johnathan Joseph for $10 million and CJ Fiedorowicz retiring. They talk some golf and the Rockets beating the Clippers last night despite not shooting well from 3-range.
To kick off the second hour of the show, the guys continue to discuss the disgusting Danry Vasquez video. As the show rolls on, they touch on TSU’s big win, their favorite NFL free agency signings, and some of the potential upsets that could happen in the first round of the tournament. To round out the show, they discuss proper NCAA Tournament etiquette.

In the first hour, John and Lance talk some poker, the Texans signing CB Aaron Colvin for 4 years, and some NFL draft insight. In some more NFL news, the Browns have signed Carlos Hyde and the guys discuss their possible draft options in the first round, some more NFL free agent landing spots, and Kirk Cousins’ new contract being a game changer.
In the final hour of the Bench, the guys continue to discuss the NCAA tournament, and the Houston teams in the tournament. They talk about the controversial call at the end of Cincinnati-Houston. John poses the question of if the NCAA purposely left teams under an FBI probe out of the NCAA tournament. They go on to discuss the new front office of the Cleveland Browns and the moves they’ve made in the offseason. They end the show talking about the Astros’ trip to the White House.
