Sister Jean and the guys talk sweet 16 basketball.
They start the second hour speaking to a local ref and NFL calls and technology. They talk about Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his overconfidence. They talk a little Astros. Sister Jean joins the show.
The guys were live at the Prime Social Club today. They go into some bad basketball played in the Sweet 16 NCAA basketball tournament and by your home town Rockets, the Rockets in a win. They ask the question: Why was James Harden in the game and a bad and unimportant one. The guys are pumped up with the first time thinking in the city of how they can extend the World Series run. They end the hour talking about the new catch rule in the NFL.
John and Lance start the second hour of the show discussing the Rockets and the excitement in the city for the team. The guys break down a car chase that was happening live on air. The guys transition to tonight’s NCAA tournament matchups and who they think has the advantage to make it to the elite 8\. To close out the second hour the guys play some Deshaun Watson sound and discuss his comments regarding Tyron Mathieu.
John and Lance Kick off the show with some Rockets talk. They discuss the Rockets chances against the Golden State Warriors. The guys talk Harden MVP probability and if his woes in the playoffs.
Terrance Thomas joins The Bench to start the second hour. They discuss Sam Darnold throwing for scouts in Southern California and comparison with other college QBs in the draft. They stir some Aggies and Horn’s rivalry talk.
The guys open the show up with great news the Austin bomber is stopped by authorities. They go into Rocket’s performance against the Trailblazers with Harden’s MVP performance. They discuss prior NFL players and Steve Francis’ legal troubles.
In the second hour, the guys talk drinks that men aren’t allowed to order and the nastiness of Quenton Nelson. John is furious at some random girl on Twitter and the guys talk NCAA tournament scenarios in the South and West regions. They get into the future of JJ Watt and whether the Texans should keep paying him or move on after this season due to his injury history. To close the show, they talk about Chris Paul and Damian Lillard’s matchup tonight in Portland.

They get into Houston being the fourth largest sports market in the country and the Astros no longer being a small market team. They talk about the next Astro to likely get a hundred million dollar deal between Correa, Springer, and Keuchel.
They guys open the 2nd hour talking Bears free agent prospects and needs. They look into Texan’s poor overall draft history. They reveal Samurai sword story. They ponder the best moments so far in NCAA tournament and current teams’ chances of winning it all. They discuss Rockets win vs. Timberwolves.
The Bench opens up talking about great sports weekend with beginning with Tiger Wood’s win this weekend. They mention NCAA tournament, Jose Altuve’s $151 million dollar contract, and UH’s NCAA Tourney loss. They delve into Astros’ signing of Altuve and the conundrum of signing their stars. The Honey Badger signs with the Texans. They close the hour with NFL needs and drafts.
