In the first hour of The Bench, the guys had a heated argument about Tiger Woods. After a brief hiatus the topic turned the Astros and Justin Verlander. The Rams continue their Spring of stockpiling with their trade for Brandin Cooks and the Patriots continue to lose offense; Lance discusses QB options for the Patriots. The guys also discuss the Rockets bounce back game against the Wizards.
In the second hour, John, Lance and Producer Del talk Deshaun Watson. Eric Sandler joins the show to discuss Tastemakers Award in Houston. The guys comment on Jim Mora’s remarks about coaching Josh Rosen and how he may not be easy to work with.
In the first hour, John and Lance mention Astros opening day and how difficult it was to reveal their World Series banner. They discuss the Astros starting lineup and debate the differences of the different soccer leagues. The guys comment on a NFL team that measured sleep patterns and how the U.S. does not teach soccer well. They end the hour by talking more Astros and phrases that are banned from the Masters.
On the second hour, the guys talk about how Brandon Weeden will help Deshaun Watson get better, they also talk about the Houston Rockets and if you should be nervous about their recent play going into the western confrence playoffs.

As the hour rolls on, they discuss the “changes” BOB might make to the offense and how much the Astros have dominated the Rangers. To close the show, Lance explains why he’s skeptical about Johnny Football’s comeback.
Live from the Golf Club of Houston, John and Lance begin the show by celebrating Astros opening day and having fun with some Astros over-unders. As the show continues they talk about how likable this Astros team is while John tries to bring everything back to golf. To finish the hour, they compare Houston championship celebrations.
