Today I am joined by David Hand of Ballistic Arrow Tech and Slash Arrows to chat about arrows and arrow ballistics. David is a Mechanical engineer with over 20 years of bowhunting and holds several patents on arrows used for hunting. David underwent a 5-year study of the ballistics of modern-day high-speed hunting arrows, that included a study at Rice University. Welcome to the podcast! Today is episode 273 and also episode 2 of The Walt and Dave Show. I know that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but if you remember from last year I did a podcast with Walt and Dave which turned out to be a pretty big hit which I was really glad about. For a little context, Walt and Dave are two old-timers, from the area I grew up in and were really some of the first archers of that area. For the record, I am using the term “old timers” as a term of endearment toward my elders. I have sat and listened to many a story from these guys and hope you guys enjoy it as well. Craig Hailes and I have been pretty good buddies for a while now, we connected through the podcast and hit it off quite well from the beginning.
