Happy holidays to all. My December guests are Loretta Hudson and Anjuelle Floyd. Loretta and I met at a weekend writer's workshop in beautiful Cambria, California. I had the pleasure of hearing some of her wonderful work in progress. I look forward to hearing how the story is progressing. Anjuelle, isn't that a beautiful name, is the author of The House and Keeper of Secrets. I haven't read Keeper of Secrets, but The House is the story of Anna, an exceptional woman whose decision in the face of heartbreak will surprise you.

For November Red River Writers Live Tales from the Pages with Host Barbara Ehrentreu and Co-host Cindie Miller has been moved to the 4th Tuesday, November 23rd. My first guest, Greg Fishbone is an old friend and critique partner who writes MG fiction. His first book, Penguins of Doom, which is described as a contemporary fantasy written as a series of letters. He has three other books coming up in 2011, 2012, and 2013, Galaxy Games Books 1,2 and 3. Donald Hagelberg, my second guest has just been published in Finnish-American Poetry by Rauhala, Vartnaw, Hagelberg. He is also very interested in many social causes. November is a month to give thanks. And I am so thankful to have my November guests, Randolph Tower and J. Diane Bechtle as part of my local writers group, The Santa Maria California Word Wizards. Randolph Tower and I have written a suspense thriller together, Ice, that is being looked at by LL Publishing and we are at work on a mystery, Meltdown. J. Diane Bechtle is a woman who has lived an unique life and tells about in her newly released book, I Know Something...and So Do You. It's appropriate this month's show airs on Veteran's day since Randolph is a 20-year veteran and has many stories to tell of his time as a pilot. One such story is titled, Baby Bottles and is in the Scattered Hearts anthology released by Desert Breeze Publishing. Scattered Hearts is an anthology of stories by our writers group. Diane's story in the book is, Roses and Chocolates for Molly.

He graduated to nonfiction books, focusing on dinosaurs, the history of science, and, at last, baseball history (The Baseball Anthology, The Autobiography of Baseball, Grand Old Game, all for Harry N. Abrams.). Now, in his fifties, Joe Wallace has hit a home run with his 1st fiction novel, based on a teenaged girl’s rise to star pitcher in the Major Leagues in the Forties. Although Tequila is not Dellani's favorite beverage, she's still willing to have Rico on the show. Dellani's second guest is fellow Red River Writer host, Franny Armstrong, author of "The Mystic Touch" and other exciting romance novels. Third, is Tom Barnes, author of "The Hurricane Hunters" and "Tungee's Gold". As always, the authors will discuss their approach to writing and share excerpts from their books. This is a really interestingly diverse bunch, so be sure to tune in. As always, there will be no outbursts of laughter allowed on the show. Dellani takes life too seriously.
