RRW The "Write Step" with R. Jeffreys

Red River Radio show

Summary: Please, join me on, The “Write Step” with R. Jeffreys on Friday evening, Nov. 5th at 8:00-9:30 pm, EST (7:00-8:30 pm, CST). I have a luminary, guest lineup any host would be thrilled to interview. My notable guests are: Sixties rocker, Phil Margo of “The Tokens”, who unveils his sci-fi book, “THE NULL QUOTIENT”. Phil’s number one hit song, “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2011 and Phil Margo continues to bask in fame as the song continues to be played, sung, hummed and danced to around the world. Phil Margo has a long list of number one hits that he’s written and/or produced; including. “Tie a Yellow Ribbon round the Old Oak Tree.” My next guest, Sal Richards; the author of, “BEHIND THE LAUGHTER, HIDDEN TEARS: The True Story of Hardship, Hope, and Love.” Comedian and Actor Sal Richards plans to keep working until his audiences stop laughing.. Sal Richards reaches out and touches people in their most vulnerable places—their hearts, souls, and minds. My third guest will be the acclaimed author and short story writer, Joseph Wallace. As early as age eight, Joe was scrawling stories on pieces of scrap paper; as a teen, he was writing science-fiction novels and thrillers on his big, clattery electric typewriter. After college, Joe took the leap, and soon was writing magazine articles on nature, medicine, and other subjects for magazines and newspapers like Audubon, Sierra, and Newsday. He graduated to nonfiction books, focusing on dinosaurs, the history of science, and, at last, baseball history (The Baseball Anthology, The Autobiography of Baseball, Grand Old Game, all for Harry N. Abrams.). Now, in his fifties, Joe Wallace has hit a home run with his 1st fiction novel, based on a teenaged girl’s rise to star pitcher in the Major Leagues in the Forties. DIAMOND RUBY has received rave reviews and is now being optioned for film.
