On Thursday, July 22nd at 3PM Central time Host Barbara Ehrentreu and co-Host Freda Roberts will welcome Comedy Writer Mr.J to the show. Comedy Writer Mr.J has written a very unusual book incorporating all aspects of writing and yet having a great many grammatical and spelling errors. The author has included these purposely and you can browse through the book to find them as you read. Barbara will interview him and perhaps we will find the mystery of why he has written with the dreaded grammatical and spelling errors. The book is called: Amphigory Almanac of Hebetudinous Humor, Linguistic Levity, &Pedantic Prose. Brandon C. Jones, the real name of this author, did have a reason for leaving in the errors. We hope to be able to find out that reason in the interview. With his background in stand up comedy this should be a fun show! Red River Radio is excited to announce their fifth Book Discussion Show with author and book review and your host Fran Lewis. This is Murder Month on Books Discussion. If you want to learn about the history of the Bloods and Crips and the inside scoop on how a real FBI agent dealt with them on a daily basis, you want to be here when author and former FBI agent Mark Bouton tells us about his outstanding novel The Last Savior. That ‘s not all! We also have Brooke London the author of Pitch Dark, which deals with the oil industry. Mark Bouton is a former FBI agent whose book The Second Savior is his fourth published novel. Set in L.A., the book features two LAPD homicide detectives trying to solve gang killings in South Central L.A. In the midst of the mayhem, a mysterious civilian gets involved by saving a detective's life. But he disappears when he's needed as a witness. The group of murdering Bloods turns on each other, the detectives, and the vital witness, creating scenes of bloodshed and harrowing action. Tamika is the founder of Tamika & Friends, which is dedicated to raising awareness about Cervical Cancer.
