LeadPages Review – How To Capture More Leads | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 6:14

Watch and learn how to get more leads using LeadPages. LeadPages Review - How To Capture More Leads Business Feb-4-2013 // In this episode: 00:48 - Clay Collins' LeadPages for Lead capture pages 00:58 - Step-by-step flow of setting up The LeadPages system 01:22 - Go to BuyWithBonus.com/free to watch this example in play 01:32 - Use a compelling headline 01:54 - Why I used Wistia player 02:10 - Turn off the control bar for auto display 02:45 - Putting a "Skip This Page" link for visitors 03:25 - Setting up AutoPilot Integration to track opt-in source 03:56 - Putting a "call-to-action" at the end of the video 05:33 - Buy LeadPages with a bonus at BuyWithBonus.com   Get LeadPages through BuyWithBonus.com   James Schramko here from SuperFastBusiness.com with a review news. In this episode, we’re going to go to a screencast where I am going to walk you through the latest experiment with a new tool that I absolutely love. Today’s review is a brand new product called LeadPages, it’s by my good buddy Clay Collins who I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing several times after getting access to his amazing other product called LeadPlayer which you’re probably looking at if you’re watching this video on SuperFastBusiness.com. Meeting with Clay Collins Now I’ve had a good chance to catch up with Clay Collins in real life when I visited San Francisco. We spent hours talking about software, business, and customer service, and I just really like Clay Collins. I like what he does but when you see LeadPages, you will like him too. It is the most amazing software for setting up Lead capture pages. There are so many options but rather than tell you all about it I would like to show you my first experiment and there will be a follow up video to this where I’ll actually share my results, so head off to this Screencast now, I’m going to show you the LeadPage I’ve set up to test out the system. LeadPages tutorial James here, I’m going to talk you through a new LeadPages page that I built for BuyWithBonus.com and it’s a pretty cool page. If you want to see it you can go to BuyWithBonus.com/free and you will actually see this example, but I’m going to talk you through some of the elements. Headline First thing is the headline here, “Grab 8 FREE How To Videos” so that’s all controllable in the LeadPages module.  Basic page settings Also the title for the page is “BuyWithBonus Free How To Videos” so you can control the page title, and also you can put a unique description and Google Analytics so they’re all in this page. This is where it gets cool, I’m using a Wistia player here but I could easily use a YouTube embed. I’m using Wistia because at the end of the video it allows me to have a really good call to action pointing people to the email which I’ll show you.   Turning off auto display Also I’ve set it to auto play and I’ve turned off this bar off from auto display so it looks nice and clean and it’s very fast playing. Also, when people load up the page for the first time it’s got a big yellow play button here but it does auto play anyway.   Fade in bar Now this bar here fades in after a few seconds, so when it first loads you just get the video and then this bar pops in. Now a couple of elements, I’ve got here just the email field, I don’t need anything else. The continue button is in nice big caps and it’s awesome. Continue button Underneath the video I’ve got a “Skip This Page” and you can see that I’ve actually got the Google Analytics tracking URL here that will take people to the home page but it will open in a new window. And it will also put the little note in analytics that someone skipped this page. Footer Link   Welcome Gate set up Now I’ve set this as a welcome gate which means that everyone visiting BuyWithBonus.com for the first time since I installed this will see the video, but then they won’t see it the next time they come.

Do You Know These Local Business SEO Ranking Factors? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:30

Here are some SEO tips that local business owners should consider. Do You Know These Local Business SEO Ranking Factors? Traffic Feb-4-2013 // In this episode: 00:09 - Put a page for your location 00:23 - Include the address when using locals for testimonials 00:39 - Use a map and name pictures from your local area 01:07 - Have a system for continually adding reviews 01:42 - Do guest posts on other local businesses 02:17 - YouTube have a new policy   Get high quality online content for your website here Expert SEO services that could help you rank higher Boost your online reputation Get your promotional videos on the right marketing channels   James Schramko here with a SEO news update. How To Promote Your Local Business Area So how do you optimize for local businesses? If you have a business and you’re in a suburb, remember that one in three searches has a location in it so put a page for your location. Make sure that you mention your address. And also, if you have testimonials, put the address of the person who is doing the testimonial so that it’s a local person. It helps Google get a picture of who your business area serves and it will help them rank for the local area. You could also put a map and you can also put pictures and remember to name your pictures with things that are related to that local area. So if I was a CBD Sydney local area customer, I might have a picture of The Opera House or the Sydney Harbor Bridge and I would describe it – Sydney Harbor Bridge, CBD Sydney, and I would put that on the page too. So using local things, this is really good if you have a business that serves a particular area. Photo credit Gather Reviews From Different Sources In Your Location Another thing you want to do is have all of the customers that you serve leave a review but you don’t want to have it in-store, it’s very bad to have them all coming from the same IP address. You want to have a regular system for continually adding reviews but these reviews should be happening in the local area, but not from the same place. There are some industries where they are particularly filtered and manually checked and there are other industries that are wide open; but you want to have this continually going. There aren’t many businesses that have more than a dozen reviews so if you can have just a few, you could be miles ahead of your competition. Guest Posts Can Be A Source Of Really Good Traffic Another cool thing that you can do is have guest posts on other local business. So if you have a related industry or a local newspaper and you could put guest content, you might get a big fat link back to your site from another site that is also GEO-specific, so another local business. If you’re an acting school, you might do a guest post on the local video store site. If you could submit a guest post to the local newspaper or the local magazine, they might also publish it because they usually publish an online version as well as a print media. Noticed Any Changes On Your YouTube Channel Lately? Now let’s talk YouTube for a second. If you’ve noticed your YouTube views have changed recently, that’s because YouTube have a new policy. Now, they’re only going to show the number of views for the videos that are currently on your channel and that are able to be viewed by a person. If you had deleted videos or if you’ve made some of your videos private, they will take away those views and they’ll just show the views for the videos that someone could actually find right now. So if you did have a little change, that’s probably what happened. Well I hope you’ve enjoyed this little SEO news update. I’m James Schramko and be sure to ask our team if you need help getting SEO or traffic to your website. Head along to SEOPartner.com, fill out the website check and we’ll tell you which one of our programs can help you get more traffic, more customers and build your business for the long term.

How To Form Good Habits By Setting Triggers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:33

Are you looking for an effective way to remember tasks and improve your routines? How To Form Good Habits By Setting Triggers Business Internet Marketing Jan-31-2013 // In the video: 00:05 - Set recurring triggers for your routine tasks 00:22 - Have somebody or something trigger your response 00:42 - Constant reminders eventually turn into good habits   Come and join SilverSircle today Be a member of FastWebFormula and get cool freebies   James Schramko here with a tip on improving your routine. Set Recurring Reminders That ‘Trigger’ A Response And this is a pretty simple tip but it allows you to get more things done. You see, you don’t want to have to remember to do things until they become habit; you probably need to set reminders. I call them ‘triggers’ because one way of course is to set a calendar alert or an alarm on your phone. Another way is to actually have somebody send you something that triggers your response. Photo credit You Eventually Form Good Habits After Setting Constant Triggers In the case of these videos, there’s a weekly call that I have with business owners on my SilverCircle group. And what that does is allow me to compile some great notes and from those notes, I get topics for these videos. So my habit now is just after we do our Mastermind calls, I record a few tips videos. So that is the trigger for this video to happen and sooner or later it becomes a habit and it becomes automatic. In fact, I’ll just automatically pick up the camera, pick up my whiteboard, come out and make these news videos every single week straight after my Mastermind. I hope this tip on triggers and routines is going to help you be more productive. I’m James Schramko and I’ll catch up with you soon. Be sure to leave your comments below.

Yoga Minute Health Fix | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:41

Take a few minutes of your work schedule and try this life-changing exercise today. Yoga Minute Health Fix IM Business Jan-30-2013 // In this video: 00:27 - The first step is to stand up and loosen your knees 01:06 - Next is to flex those hips 02:01 - Time to get up and try this exercise   Internet marketing tips are available at FastWebFormula, be a member today SilverCircle is now open, join the community here   Hey James Schramko here and in this episode we’re going to do something healthy for you.  Get up, away from the computer and we’re going to do some exercise but I’m not really that qualified to teach you about exercise so I brought in my brother-in-law who is an authentic yoga teacher all the way from India.  Welcome Manu, show us what you got. Your First Step Is To Stand Up Alright, welcome to Yoga Manu’s Yoga minute.  First stretch if you’ve been sitting on the computer desk on your chair then your spine is probably compressing so first thing to do is stand up with your knees soft.  You can fold your hands or you can do a little bind or just hands to heart and then do a basic twist. Hold it, hold it, hold it and then back to the center.  Shoulders are relaxed and avoid shrugging.  Then, other side, another twist, hold it, hold it, hold it and to the center.  Keep it simple. Loosen Your Hips The second stretch for the hip flexes because we’ve been sitting, these contract (showing hip flexor) so when you stand up, soft knees again and do a gentle tilt.  Hands on your hips, or stretch them high and then do a gentle tilt.  Remember to stay connected to your feet. Hold it, hold it and then breathe in and breathe out to the other side.  Stay connected to the feet.  You’re allowed to even look down to see if your off balance- beautiful… and back and if you feel strong in your core you can also do a little gentle lift and arch and remember, stay connected to your feet. A gentle arch, you need to still soft (3,2,1) and hands to heart and that’s it for Yoga Minute, Yoga Manu. (from  LivingOm.com.au  ). See you next time. Try This Exercise Now And Improve Your Health In Under Two Minutes Photo credit Alright, how cool was that?  So now it’s time to get up away from that computer, do your exercise then come back and post a comment right near this video.  Tell me how much that improved your life today.  If you like this I will have Manu come back and do some more exercises for us.  I’m James Schramko.

How To Design Powerful Training Courses | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:58

By following these steps, creating a training course module will be a piece of cake. How To Design Powerful Training Courses Jan-29-2013 // Highlights in this episode: 00:27 - My Simple framework you can use to plan your course 00:45 - Using the popular '4mat' format 01:18 - Why keep it under 12 minutes? 01:34 - The module format in action 02:19 - Today's action step - Start your very own course module   SilverCircle is open right NOW (Jan-Feb 2013) Exclusive training courses available for members of FastWebFormula   James Schramko here with a business tip and this one is going to help you create information products or to create courses for your customers even if they are consumer guides or paid products. So, I put out a lot of products, usually one per month at a minimum, and many people come to me and say “James, do you have a template or framework for creating an information product?”, and the answer is YES I do. The Framework Of Designing A Powerful Training Course So here’s my process. I rule up a big whiteboard into a grid and it is the “product outline board” and it simply has columns which are the Course Intro, then Topic 1, Topic 2, Topic 3, so on and so forth, and in the end is the course summary. And then down the page, I simply have Introduction, WHY, WHAT, HOW, What IF, and this is using the popular “4mat” format. So we want to explain with each module the introduction to the module. Why do we need to know this? What is it? How do we do it? and What about this or what about that? - covering off objections. And then you have a summary. Summary should be the “action steps” after each module.  So if you use this format, then you are going to have information modules that are useful to people. Photo credit The 12 Minute Principle I recommend if you’re using videos or audios that you keep them under 12 minutes, that is the maximum.  Two to twelve minutes is ideal. Short modules get high retention. And now if you want people to actually learn things, keep it short and finish on an “action step”. Start Your Very Own Course Module Today Now let’s run through this with this particular training module right now. So the introduction is I’m going to tell you about my training format. Why do you need to know this? Well, it’s going to make creating products much easier for you in the future. What do you do? You create a whiteboard with modules that you fill out so that you know exactly what each module is going to look like in advance. How do you do it? You simply rule up the whiteboard, fill in the squares and then create your modules according to the plan. Now what if you’ve never done it before? Don’t worry, you can always ask me a question right near this video. You’ll find it gets easier and easier the more you do it. And then of course you have the action steps. The action step today is to go and rule up your whiteboard into a grid using the format supplied and create your first module. Come back and post how you went. I’m James Schramko and I’d like to hear from you.

Should You Transcribe Your Audios And Videos? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:35

Discover what other benefits audio and video transcriptions have to offer for your site. Should You Transcribe Your Audios And Videos? IM Business Jan-28-2013 // In this news update: 00:15 - Are transcriptions really worth it? 00:49 - Transcriptions help cater to viewers who prefer to read 01:25 - Increase keyword significance on your site for SEO 02:19 - Multiple keyword variations help long tail traffic 02:45 - Do you appreciate the transcriptions?   Get more internet marketing advice from FastWebFormula Already a member? You may enter here   James Schramko here with an internet marketing tip and this one is on the topic of transcriptions. Is it worth having your videos and audios transcribed? Let’s address this in a moment. Are Transcriptions Worth It? Okay, so this topic comes up often and it was recently discussed inside FastWebFormula. I put a transcription of this video on SuperFastBusiness.com. I also have my podcasts on InternetMarketingSpeed fully transcribed. Now, some people say “Is it worth it?” Well, as you know, it can cost a little bit to have transcriptions – perhaps a dollar per transcribed minute, so if you have a 1 hour conversation, that could be a 60 dollar job. Photo credit You Get To Target A More Diverse Audience Now I am committed to transcriptions and here’s why. Beyond the obvious SEO potential, there are still human beings reading my blog and I think not everyone wants to watch a video or listen to an iTunes podcast. So for those people who like to read, my blog will still deliver. Now, what I’m interested in is also getting as much traffic to my site as possible. Now if it makes it easy for people to consume my information and they can get it the way they like, whether they want to watch a video on YouTube, whether they want to listen to a podcast on iTunes or whether they want to read it on my blog, they can. Transcriptions Have A Lot Of SEO Perks Now, if you are just interested in SEO, then here is something you might not be aware of. If you can log into Google webmaster tools and check on optimization, content and keywords, you can check the significance of keywords on your site. It will actually show you the number of occurrences and also how many variations of that keyword it’s found. So in this example, I’m using the keyword “marketing” and on my SuperFastBusiness.com blog you can see that it has been appearing on my blog many times, and that’s because of the transcription. There’s also been multiple variations of the word “marketing” – there’s probably “market-er, market-ing, market-s”. In fact, even mentioning this in my video means that it will be transcribed to this episode, further increasing the significance of that keyword on SuperFastBusiness.com. Now I’m pretty sure that having that level of significance and this number of variations will help my longtail search traffic for SuperFastBusiness. And the results that I’ve been getting for this particular website are stunning. I have seen improvements over the last 30 days, and that is just from putting out regular videos audios and transcriptions to this site. So there you go. Tell Us What You Think Now, not all of my podcasts will be transcribed. But for now, my short podcasts and ones that I feel are going to be useful for my customers will continue to be transcribed. But what I’d like you to do now is: please reply to this post – “Do you appreciate the transcriptions or would it make no difference to you if I didn’t do them anymore?” Please tell me your thoughts. I’m James Schramko and I hope to hear from you soon...

How To Build Your Community Stronger | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:49

Create a stronger online community with these important tips. How To Build Your Community Stronger Business IM Jan-24-2013 // In this episode: 00:30 - Ask your members what they want 00:44 - Put out a contest or a challenge 00:59 - Offer case studies for training 01:22 - Live trainings encourage better engagement 01:49 - Host live meetups for your community   SilverCircle is about to open soon, be sure to check your email. Be part of the FastWebFormula community by joining here.   James Schramko here with some tips on building your community. Now you may run a Facebook group or a LinkedIn group or perhaps you have your own community like I have FastWebFormula.com which is run on a forum platform and also SilverCircle my Mastermind. So because I have a few different communities, I’ve learned a few things about how to increase engagement and keep people sticking around. Now if it happens to be a paid community, then this is going to be a vital important training for you. Be Open-minded And Ask Your Members What They Want The first thing to do is be open-minded about what your members want and to ask them. Start a discussion about how can you do a better job. These have usually given me the greatest innovations in my business. Photo credit Put Out Challenges And Contests Another thing that really gets interest are contests and challenges. Put out a contest or a challenge or ask people to do something that lets them stretch a bit and also at the same time demonstrates the value of whatever it is that your community offers them. Case Studies Are Very Effective Training Materials Case studies are great. When you can summarize something you’ve done well or put it into a case study, some kind of training. Whether it’s text or PDF or a video or an audio recording of something you did well that others can learn from, that always increases value for a community because people relate to it and they place themselves in that situation and they see how can they apply that for their business. Have Live Training Sessions And Set Up Live Events For Your Community Live training is a good one. I run a weekly call with SilverCircle and I run a monthly webinar with FastWebFormula and live training brings up the engagement element. People can turn up, they can have a two-way interaction live and of course you could still record it or take detailed notes for those who can’t make it and that allows you to create products. But live training is part of being a community and it makes people excited to belong. Also, live meetups are an extension to that, where you can actually get together on a regular basis. So for FastWebFormula, all around the world – in London, in Sydney, in Melbourne, Brisbane, the United States, we have local meetups. People getting together face-to-face at a pub or a restaurant, having a beer or a meal, sharing ideas and stories and that really increases community engagement. I hope these tips help you with your community. Whether you participate in one, perhaps you could suggest these ideas or whether you have your own. I’m James Schramko, I’ll catch up with you soon. Be sure to leave your comments below.

Behind The Scenes Travel Tips For Web Marketers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 5:12

Take a behind the scenes look at this practical travel kit and get other useful tips. Behind The Scenes Travel Tips For Web Marketers Business IM Jan-23-2013 // Episode highlights: 00:20 - A simple video production travel kit 01:24 - Desirable accessories that you might have 03:15 - Data roaming is very expensive so be Wi-Fi ready 03:42 - Always keep your slide presentations on a USB memory stick 04:24 - No need for bulky expensive gear when traveling   Join the FastWebFormula community here FastWebFormula members may log in here   James here with a quick video, it’s a “behind the scenes” video. I’m here in San Francisco and today, I’m doing my Mastermind calls but I just thought you might be interested in the sort of setup that I’m using to make these videos and also to do my calls because I’ll be doing a couple of calls with my business group. So, I’m just going to show you what we’ve got here. I’m going to grab this other camera (iPhone 5). My Personal Video Production Setup When I Travel Alright, I have the iPad mini just sitting on top of my Mac Air. Now, I could be using the Mac Air for this video except that the picture display is really bad. It’s actually 4x3 I think and the iPad mini and also this iPhone 5 will give me 16x9 – a good high quality def. The problem is the sound is not that great so I’ve actually got the Zoom here recording the sound. So, you could hear when I speak, just focus in on it. When I’m speaking, the needle is moving. Now for the baseline volume when I’m not talking, that is the street noise in the hotel here, so it’s pretty bad.   Photo credit Accessories That You Should Always Bring With You Now of course, other accessories that I use when I’m traveling, you need the cable to attach the phone to the laptop to be able to upload the media. This device here uses an SD card so I can simply load the sound in and then I’ll synch it with ScreenFlow. Also for my calls, I’ll use headphones for Skype, etc. and the microphone from the computer; that will be fine, it’s nice and light. Remember of course, you have to have power for your computer, otherwise it will run flat. And if you are traveling, be sure to remember your adapter. You’re going to have to be able to adapt it to U.S. Coffee or as they, sorry they call this Starbucks here but it’s not, it’s sort of like fake coffee. It’s okay but not that good. And, water because you’re inside you’re getting a lot of the air conditioning will dry you out very quickly. So, I’m pretty much set up for my day of making some videos, editing videos and attending my Skype calls. So, I hope this was useful and that’s basically my travel kit. I put all of this in the backpack. I’ve got the Mac Air, iPhone, iPad mini and the good quality sound. Now with that combination, I can do podcasts, I can do Skype calls, Masterminds, make videos and of course having two devices means I can record behind the scenes. The iPad mini is much better for reading Kindles on the plane and it’s fantastic for taking notes in the event when you don’t want to carry around a bulky laptop or backpack. You just have your iPad mini, just take down notes. So, there you go. Data Roaming Is Too Expensive, Connect Through Wi-Fi Instead The other thing to remember when you are traveling is that data roaming is very very expensive so I suggest you use Wi-Fi. If you are using a Mac Air or something like that, remember to bring your Ethernet connection because not all hotels have Wi-Fi. Some of them still have an Ethernet cable, so you need that adapter. And if you are speaking, then you will need the adapter to make it to the projector. Don’t assume that the event organizer will have one and you should also have a little tiny memory stick for putting presentations or slide shows on if you’re going to give it to an event organizer. So, there you go. There’s a sort of little travel kit. That’s what I use when I travel.

How To Get Better Customers | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:57

How To Get Better Customers Business Jan-21-2013 // In this episode: 00:11 - Only work with your perfect customer by setting up filters 00:21 - Filter using surveys 00:38 - Have a video to introduce your business straightaway 00:47 - Follow this system and you'll only be dealing with the perfect customers   Soon SilverCircle Mastermind will be opening. Look out for an email soon. Learn the secrets to Internet Marketing success by joining FastWebFormula   James Schramko here and it’s time for another business tip. This time I’m going to be covering “How to get better customers for your business using filtering” Filtering Your Customers Will Require These Simple Steps You shouldn’t be dealing with every customer and one great way to get only the right customers is to know exactly who your perfect customer is and then to set up filters for them. One of the best ways to filter for customers is a survey with questions, especially narrowing in “Who is the decision maker?”, “When do you need this service?”, “What is your budget range?”, “What would the perfect result look like for you?” and “What other things have you already tried?” And what you might want to do is have a video that introduces your service and who you are best suited for that people watch before they fill out the survey.   Photo credit With Proper Implementation, You’re Now Only Dealing With The Perfect Customers So just recapping, 1) Now people have looked at a video before they come and fill out your survey, 2) They’ve filled out a survey and 3) They actually have to qualify to do business with you. And by the time they’re putting in their application, they know who you are, what you do, who you’re best suited for and now they’re telling you information that will help you identify if these are the perfect customers for you and you can then have them contacting you asking if they can do business with you. You now follow up the perfect customers, you’ve filtered them and you’re only dealing with the perfect customer and business is great. I hope you’ve enjoyed this tip. I’m James Schramko, I’ll catch up with you soon. Be sure to leave your comments or to subscribe to my YouTube channel.

How To Improve Your Online Reputation | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2:42

Learn how simple it can be, with commitment and a little help, to protect and maintain your online reputation. How To Improve Yur Online Reputation Traffic Jan-21-2013 // This week's news topics: 00:07 - Some of our Reputation packages require domain names from you 00:19 - Getting 3 new domains is not that difficult 00:34 - You purchase a hosting package and send us the logins 00:42 - We do everything else 00:49 - The websites are your assets 01:20 - These websites should protect you from harmful rankings 01:49 - Fight bad reviews with good content   Maintain a good online reputation Increase traffic to your site Maximize the power of press release Get quality traffic through video syndication Click here to get domains Get hosting here     James Schramko here with some updates on our reputation restoration package. Reputation restoration package updates With some of our reputation restoration packages, we suggest the customer actually provide us some domain names that we can build out new websites on.  Now, while this may seem technically difficult, it’s really not.  You just go to the link that we provide and buy three domain names.  The domain names would generally have phrases that you’d like to be ranked for and then you get the login details that they send you and just give them to us.  We also give you links for your own hosting.  You click on the link, purchase a hosting package and then send us the logins.  We will do everything else.  We’ll point the domain name to the server and we’ll build a website on the server.  Now what this really means is that they are your assets.  There’s no point us building a website on our server and our domain.  You want to own these.  You’re creating your destiny, you’re creating your future assets that will perform for you and we’re giving that control to you. So when you buy reputation restoration pack from SEOPartner.com, you’re going to end up with your own assets, your own websites that you can continue to develop or you can have us help you develop in the future.  These websites should protect you from harmful rankings over and over again as you build them out with more and more pages and posts adding to your story the way that you’d like it to be found on the internet. Increase your site visibility Every time you add a post or a page to these websites that is another way that people can find you.  Of course you can add pages and posts for as long as you possibly can, as many as you like, it’s unlimited and you would cover all of the various topics and phrases that you’d like to be found for.  So if you keep coming up with bad reviews for your own name, keep adding every single good piece of content that you can to your website. Put PDF reports, put case studies, put news announcements, put your thoughts, put any sort of published material that is positive for your name and for your business and you’ll start to take up more space in the search engine on an asset that you control. Photo credit I’m James Schramko, I hope you found these tips useful. Please comment below.

What is list insurance? List insurance is where you have a subscriber on more than one subscription and I’m talking about different mediums.  In particular, we all know that we want an email list but these days with Facebook we want to have a fan of our page.  With YouTube, we want a YouTube subscriber and on iTunes we want people to subscribe so that every time we release new content, they are alerted about it.  We put out a new blog post with a video and an audio now it automatically gets updated in iTunes, the YouTube subscription will pop up an alert and will send out an email to our customer list that there’s new content and then we Facebook post it so our fans are aware of it. Photo credit How to get list insurance working for you Make sure that in your content, you tell people where they can subscribe.  If you are watching this or listening to this or reading it on my blog, then you will now know that you can join the newsletter at SuperFastBusiness.com.  You can become a fan if you go to FBjames.com.  You can subscribe on YouTube by checking the subscribe button on the sidebar of my blog or go into YouTube and subscribe into the channel and you can subscribe in iTunes by logging into iTunes searching for SuperFastBusiness and subscribe into that podcast Ask for comments The other thing to do is to ask for comments.  If you’re in any of those places and you leave a really nice comment, it would be greatly appreciated. (Horse neighs in the background) That’s Star saying, go do it now.  Three Tips For Getting The Best Tools | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:58

Follow this checklist to get the best tools for you and your team. Three Tips For Getting The Best Tools Business IM Jan-16-2013 // In this video: 00:16 - See if you still need the system or tools that you currently have 00:22 - Is it the best tool or system to get the job done 00:38 - Commit to learning them and share it with the team 01:10 - Review what you're using and make sure it's the best 01:21 - It's okay to pay more for professional tools if you can save more in the long run   Be a member of the SilverCircle community by joining the waiting list here   James Schramko here with a training on systems. I have a large team in my business and we use a lot of different tools and systems and this is our procedure when we want to review the systems we have and the tools that we’re using.  We have a simple checklist. Do You Need What You Have Right Now? The first thing we say is “Do we need a system?” or “Do we need the tool that we’re currently using?” Are You Using The Best? The second thing we ask is “If we do need a tool, is it the best tool or the best system to get the job done?” and we compare it to all the other things that are available for that particular category and we review this on a frequent basis, usually quarterly. Photo credit Can Your Team Use Your Tools Properly? And the third thing is once we’ve decided that we absolutely need a tool and that it is the best tool, then we commit to learning it and that means taking on training and sharing that information with other people in our team. So if we do have a tool, we make sure that it’s the right tool and that we know how to use it. For example, when I’m making these videos, the tool that I use is called Screenflow for editing the videos. And I use the exact same software to edit my audios. That way I’ve got one tool, I know how to use it really well and it does the job. So, get out there, review your systems, make sure that you’re only using tools and systems that are useful in your business and that it’s the best tool for the job and that you know how to use it. Paying More For Functionality Is Actually Better In The Long Run And remember, sometimes it’s okay to pay a little bit more to get a professional tool that will save you hours in time if it does things that free tools just don’t do. I’m James Schramko and I’ll catch up with you soon. Remember to leave your comments below.
