The Annabel Portcast

As is customary on a Monday, Annabel has been set a new assignment- to replace BBC Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid. However, this time, Geoff has been very helpful, and given her loads of helpful hints to make her job easier.

This week, Annabel's assignment was to take a different online personality test each day to see what sort of person or celebrity she was, and then to live like that person for the rest of the day. The last one was Mel B, but fortunately there have been no lasting effects.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh! That's right, today as part of her assignment, Annabel gets to act like Mel B all day- she has fun doing it too, though she didn't get to meet Eddie Murphy unfortunately...

Annabel is used to getting into strange situations as a result of the various assignments and challenges which she partakes, but today she went one step further and, based on her pretending to be a designer, made it a little further than she was perhaps intending to go.

Annabel commences her assignment- to find who she really is, via a series of tests from Facebook, and then to live as that person. Today, she found out she was Marty from Grease, and had a lovely time.

You know those quizzes you get on Facebook to see what kind of person you are? Well this week, Annabel is doing one each day, and then acting like the person they have said she is. She also reads letters from Piers Morgan, Alec Baldwin, and Zara Phillips.

A whole week's worth of Annabel, that's what this is: hear her help ensure the nation of Scotland isn't left on its own following independance (spoiler alert, she gets scuppered by David Bowie)...

Have you ever worked really hard on something, only for an impossibly cool and talented celebrity to ruin everything for you? Perhaps if you work in PR I suppose, but that's exactly what happened to Annabel- slaving away at her assignment all week, only for David Bowie to come and ruin all her hard work.

Annabel continues on her mission to help Scotland find some new pals, should they gain independance. Today, she's on the phone to very important people from the Faroe Islands, and she's doing well- they carried the phone right to the top...

As well as reading correspondance from Queen, John Bercow, and Vanessa Mae, Annabel gets started on her assignment to help out Scottish independance, by finding them some new pals in case they feel lonely being on their own.

Today, Annabel got a new assignment- it's a two-pronged task, helping the Scots with their plans for independance. She also read some marvellous correspondance from her All-Star Postbag, including messages from Prince William, Tinie Tempah, and Cilla Black.

Despite Geoff being off sick for two days this week, Annabel soldiered on, completing her assignment to invent an app that you can use without a smartphone. She also read letters from George Clooney, Torvill and Dean, and Cliff Richards in her All Star Postbag.

Geoff has a suspicion that whilst he's been off sick, Annabel has just been mucking about, as one might with a substitute teacher. But that's unfair, as she's invented two whole apps that you can play without a smartphone, and even Geoff isn't immune to their addictive pull.

Annabel continues her assignment to invent some apps that don't require the use of a smartphone, and she seems to be on a roll- she's already on to her second app in as many days- at this rate she'll be a millionaire in no time.
