Episode-144- TSP Rewind – More about the Toolbox Fallacy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:16:04

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally and was originally Episode-2532- More about the Toolbox Fallacy and first published on Oct. 17th, 2019.  You can get a text file of the 13 steps for this rewind series here. The following are the original show notes from that episode. Last week I discussed a YouTube video called “The Tool Box Fallacy” (a video by Passion of the Nerd on YouTube) and I challenged you guys to state a life goal that you have been holding back on due to this fallacy. So far six audience members have written in and told me the goal they had and the metaphorical needed tool box that was holding them back and stated their intention to just get it done. Well 6 people willing to step up is enough for me so today we are digging into this at a deeper level. The basics of the Tool Box Fallacy is that people use things they claim they need but don’t have to avoid getting things done. If I had a gym membership I could get in shape, etc. This is likely the number one excuse type in modern America today, that people use to avoid changing their lives and accomplishing great things.  Episode-143- TSP Rewind – What if Everyone Did What they Most Want to Do | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:02

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally and was originally Episode-2523- What if Everyone Did What they Most Want to Do and first published on Oct. 3rd, 2019. The following are the original show notes from that episode. Does the question, what if everyone did what they most want to do, give you visions of the scary kind of dark T.V. anarchy? Okay so if it does let me ask you a second questions, why? What reason do you have for believing that most people want to go nuts with a chain saw and murder people or set the cities on fire? Why do you think that way? Does it really make any logical sense? Put another way, if I told you right now that you could do anything you wanted are you going to start pushing old ladies into oncoming traffic? Or perhaps might you start burning down churches? Robbing banks? Do you most want to do any of those things? Further does anyone do things like that already? Do people rob, steal, commit arson, destroy property, right now, today? Do people get stabbed, shot, beat up, raped, cheated, etc.? I think we all know the answer to that is yes, they do. So how does help prevent such things to tell people to not do what they most want to do in the world, right now, every day? Is that message as dangerous as many claim? Would it lead to more horrors, more theft, more fighting, more of everything bad? Or might it lead to something else all together? Join Me Today to Discuss… What prevents you from doing what you most what to do Please note I didn’t say we should remove any of the consequences of doing bad or stupid things If you did what you most wanted would it include hurting people or taking their stuff What are you biggest reasons and excuses for not doing what you most want to do How much of what you do is already what you most want to do, specifically under current circumstances Who is more likely to harm others a truly happy person or an angry and stressed one Who is likely to be more happy one that pursue their dreams or one that suppresses them Do you even know what you most want to do What would happen if you figured it out and designed it into your life   Resources for today’s show… Follow Life With Jack on Instagram TSP Facebook Group Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum Walking To Freedom TspAz.com Crumblin Down – John Cougar   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-142- TSP Rewind – Understanding Systemic vs. Natural Capitalism | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:26:59

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-2433- Understanding Systemic vs. Natural Capitalism and was originally and first published on May 7th, 2019. The following are the original show notes from that episode. I had to think a bit about the title of today’s show. It was spawned by this quite anti capitalist article at The Exiled. Let me say I feel the author Yasha Levine is coming at things from a leftist anarcho position, however the article is absolutely accurate in its telling of history. The upshot, capitalism is bad! And yet I am a self described “anarcho capitalist”. So is capitalism bad, or is it good? As always, it depends! This led me to the distinction between a system of capitalism (in general statism in the form of modern fascism) and natural capitalism. To me natural capitalism is the only truly natural system of economics we have. Natural capitalism recognizes that people acquire things and if they do so by legitimate means it is their property. Further that some people are better at or like to do some things more than others. Hence trade is a way for people to gain that which they do not have and in doing so both parties are better off for it. Further natural capitalism recognizes that most people don’t want to hurt or kill others. Even more so that most people do not want to be hurt or killed. So it simply is better for everyone to conduct trade between individuals, tribes and nations rather than to take by force what one wants. Even when you are the type that will steal, harm and kill, the reality is if you do it long enough, someone is likely to do it back to you. When most people use the term capitalism in a positive way, this is what they mean. I grow food and sell the surplus to Tom. Tom’s money is now mine to keep or spend, my food is now for Tom to eat, share, resell, do what ever he wants to with it. The trade is based on our mutually agreed upon view of value, it is also a voluntary exchange and both of us are free to trade or not to, it is our choice. Well, that is all good and well but what happens when the state gets involved and something natural is made forced, unnatural and coerced? Well as we shall see today, many times some very bad things. We can say the same thing about the supposed antonym of capitalism, socialism. We think of socialism as a form of economics, but it really isn’t, until the state forces it to be such. Socialism in its natural state is only cooperation by humans because those cooperating view it as beneficial. If 20 people settle around a lake and see it as vital to their lives and hence set up some agreements, it is socialism, natural socialism that is. These agreements may be on how many fish can be taken, perhaps even a way where fish are shared. How much water can be used, what can and can’t be dumped in the lake. If it needs maintenance the people may pool labor or simply pool money to pay for it, etc. This is pure, honest, socialism. The choice is up to the individual, if you want to be part of this group, these are the rules. Systemic socialism is when a person is required to be part of a group they never asked to be part of and their property is taken in the name of collective good. As we will see today, capitalism and socialism are both wonderful things when humans are left to their natural inclinations in using them on a voluntary basis, but once the state gets involved either can be used to enslave a population.  Episode-141- TSP Rewind – Dropping the Denominator | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:32:17

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-2458- Dropping the Denominator and was originally and first published on June 25th, 2019. The following are the original show notes from that episode. Have you ever heard the phrase, “the lowest common denominator”. While this is an actual mathematical principle it has also become a colloquialism meaning to cater to the lowest preforming member of a given group. Today that group is the people of the United States and the performance metrics are basic intelligence, critical thinking and the ability to use logic and reason. In essence a better title for this show may be “lowering the common denominator” with the sub title of “the dumbing down of America”, but I simply feel dropping the denominator sounds better and requires more thought, and as you shall see, thinking is the main focus of today’s episode. Join Me Today to Discuss… Everything you need to know is in the pharmaceutical marketing formula Specific ways people have been dumbed down Taught that the method is more important than the results Everything has become a labeled illness, disorder, condition, etc and celebrated Actual mental disorders are considered “normal” The goal of modern medicine is to medicate every person from cradle to grave Food is toxic even in the wealthiest nation that have ever existed People have been convinced education credentials equal intelligence People have been taught to be proud of who they are, vs. what they accomplish The role of government has become “keeping us safe” instead of the protection of rights The concept of “settled science” has turned science into a religion Fighting the current of stupidity Verify information and examine every side of every issue Realize that 95% of what people think is important, isn’t Make your life a series of “learning projects” Challenge your children and teach them to challenge you back Develop your pattern recognition Learn to work systems to your advantage Don’t join a “tribe” political or otherwise Determine the things you most want and put 95% of your effort into getting them If you don’t want to be a little more like a person in your life, don’t spend much time with them Spirko’s Law of Life #13 – Believe as you wish but know why you believe what you believe Final Thoughts – You don’t have to play their games, so don’t   Resources for today’s show… Follow Life With Jack on Instagram TSP Facebook Group Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum Walking To Freedom TspAz.com The Granddaddy’s Gun Club Binance.com Biltong for Breakfast Find Your TSP Facebook Group for Your State There Must be More to Life than This – Freddy Mercury   Sponsors of the Day Ready Made Resources Free State Project   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-140- TSP Rewind – The Death of Personal Responsibility | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:51

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-2430- The Death of Personal Responsibility and was originally and first published on May 2nd, 2019. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. Before we get deep into today’s topic I am going to go a bit deeper with some planned changes in the show’s format. Don’t worry TSP isn’t changing per se just some changes in the schedule, format, etc. to keep stuff fresh. Then I want to discuss the subject of personal responsibility in the world today. I was recently asked by a guest if I really believed the quote buy Permaculturist Geoff Lawton… “All the worlds problems can be solved in a garden.” My response was, absolutely, but you need personal responsibility as well. The response came back, “Personal responsibility of the gardener or the world.” Well, both but first, the gardener! This is the key, the rest of the world is not ever going to be personally responsible for shit until the minority that actually see value in such things, shuts up about it and gets on with doing it. This is one of many reasons that politics is dead to me. I see the same bullshit from both sides and I ain’t talking the elected clowns at this point, I am talking about the people watching the circus and choosing a group of clowns to root for. The left attacks the right, the right attacks the left, everyone agrees that government sucks and is corrupt but they want more of their kind. So here is another quote, this one is my own…. “Here is everything wrong with government, along with my plan to make government bigger and more powerful” ~ Every Politician Ever So it is clear that the solutions exist outside of the State and its’ systems. It is also clear that the solutions are not really of interest to the average person. So what is the answer? You and your own back yard, side yard, friends, porch, life, bank account, children, etc. As always we are back to the “real circles of life”. What are the real circles of life? There are three, they are… The circle of concern The circle of influence The circle of control   I call them your real circles of life because you will spend every waking moment of your life with your mind and hence you inside them. The first circle is the weakest, these are all the things you are concerned about but have no real control or influence over. Like the SJWs crying on YouTube or the assclown circus going on in congress right now, etc. This also includes anything anyone is doing or saying that takes up your attention but you can’t really influence or control. The second circle is all of the things you are concerned about and can influence but can’t control. If you are a parent of adult children, this is a perfect example. I personally feel I have a lot of influence in the life of my son, daughter-in-law and grand kids. When they want advice I give it, sometimes I see an issue and I give advice unasked. My son, however; is a grown ass man. It is his family, he makes the call. Likewise some of my neighbors have started to plant trees due to my example some never will, I have influence but no control. Via this podcast I influence over 200,000 people and those they influence, but I don’t control a damn thing my listeners do or don’t do. I can tell you guys, my neighbors or my son that you need a household budget but I can’t make you write it up, nor can I make you follow it. The third circle is the most powerful circle. It is all the things you both care about and control. If you want a garden and you have a yard, you can damn well plant a garden. The most important thing about this circle is not just that you can control your actions in it, but your thoughts as well. Don’t like gardens, then thoughts of gardens are not something you need to co[...]

 Episode-139- TSP Rewind – Becoming a Modern Renaissance Man | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:20:07

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally and was originally Episode-2389- Becoming a Modern Renaissance Man and first published on Feb. 26th, 2019. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. We have discussed the concept of becoming a modern renaissance man aka a polymath a few times on feedback shows, but never as a stand alone subject. I took a walk with the ducks today and was thinking about the vast array of topics we cover on TSP and together we decided it was time to take becoming a polymath to the level of a stand alone topic. I think there are a lot of misconceptions about what a renaissance man really is and for that matter what an expert really is. We are going to dig into that today. We are also going to discuss the advantages of becoming a polymath, why it isn’t as hard as many think and why today is the easiest time in history to do so. I also want to talk about why you would want to do this and the advantages it brings into your life. Most importantly I want to discuss how modern education has made what should be common very rare today. Join Me Today to Discuss… What is a polymath or renaissance man How modern education killed the renaissance man The mindset change you need to become a polymath What is an expert How do you become an expert in a subject (Tim Ferris vs. Jack Spirko) Where polymath Ben Franklin got it wrong with a “Jack of all trades and a master of none” How to determine the subjects and skills you wish to master Separating knowledge, hard skills and competence The disadvantages of being a polymath You can be an expert in a few things but will never be as good as you could in any of them You will get bored with things more quickly and move on to something else all the time Many things that entertain, amaze, surprise others will become pointless to you (largely apathetic) You will most likely need to be an entrepreneur or very fluid in your career goals (not an absolute) You won’t know when to quit at times when it is the best or only option The advantages of being a polymath You will be a problem solver and trouble shooter It will be very difficult for people to bullshit you or take advantage of you You will be adaptable and bring value to others There will always be something you can do in any situation (99% of the time) It gets easier and easier as you go Final Thoughts   Resources for today’s show… Follow Life With Jack on Instagram TSP Facebook Group Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.com Jeremy on SongFacts Jeremy – Pearl Jam Pearl Jam Metallica Mash Up “Sad But Even Flow”   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-138- TSP Rewind – Self Ownership Over Political Activism | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:18:52

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally  and was originally Episode-2348- Self Ownership Over Political Activism and first published on Dec. 18th, 2018. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. Today I was chatting with Nicole Sauce on facebook and discussing what to do for today’s show. One thing she suggested was perhaps, “why libertarians often come off as assholes and what they can do to better serve their marketing push“. It didn’t slip by me that Nicole said libertarians vs. Libertarians. In libertarian circles capital L means the LP, as in the official Libertarian Party. Like most liberty minded individuals I had my time considering the LP a viable option. I even ran for Congress in Texas as an LP party member. That one stint at running taught me how dirty, bought and paid for and tightly controlled all government really is. All of that for a job that pays 600 dollars a month and for a hotel while you are in Austin? So over time I became more a political atheist, first going from Libertarian to libertarian, then on to voluntarist/anarchist. That said I am still a libertarian. I think it was Ian Freeman of Free Talk Live, who I first heard say, “All anarchists are libertarians but not all libertarians are anarchists”. You see libertarianism is grounded really on only two principles. 1. The NAP or non aggression principle. The simple version of this is simply don’t hurt people and don’t take their stuff. 2. The Principle of self ownership. Simply meaning that you own yourself and no one else should have any claim upon you, your labor, your dreams, your choices, etc. These two principles are actually one in the same. So why the redundancy. Well because one tells you how to treat others, the second tells you how to treat yourself. While the NAP prevents you from harming others, the principle of self ownership removes any and all excuses from your life. If you believe you own yourself, you are your own responsibility even when others violate the NAP in your life, and they will, daily. The problem with Libertarian Politics is it sounds like beautiful music, right up until you try to play it for someone else. You quickly find that while the word freedom is elevated to worship status in the religion of US Statism, no one really seems to want it. Today we examine what all this means and what it means for you. Join Me Today to Discuss… The NAP and Self Ownership and how they work for individuals Libertarian vs. libertarian vs. voluntarist/anarchist My story of running for office and why I ended any fantasies I had about government How you can see the trap of politics in the illegal immigration debate Why Self Ownership is more important to grasp then the NAP The NAP will be violated on you daily, so just accept that Self Ownership is something you control in spite of others actions Self Ownership is about personal responsibility, not what someone else should do Self Ownership drives home that freedom applies to everyone or it isn’t freedom Self Ownership employs the Geoff Lawton Principle of – “if the designer is good, the more restrictions the more eloquent the design” Ways you can practice self ownership Solve any and all problems you can solve outside the State’s systems Build a business and use the 90% of the tax code that tells you how to get out of the 10% Develop micro economies (practice agorism) Use crypto curencies, gold, silver, barter, etc Draft your own contracts, appoint your own arbitrators MYOB – mind your own business Influence others to take positive actions Don’t delude yourself, in many ways we individually are not that important Take care of yourself, reboot, etc. Define your version of success and achieve it Final thoughts   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.[...]

Episode-137- TSP Rewind – A Current Look at the Great Lie of Dichotomy | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:33:28

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-2050- A Current Look at the Great Lie of Dichotomy and was originally published on July, 25th, 2017. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. Occasionally I mention the “false dichotomy” but I have not done a full episode dedicated to it since Episode-874 back in April of 2012. That is more than 5 years ago! Since that time many of my positions have evolved but the basic concept of the false dichotomy remains. I have been thinking about this a lot lately and nothing more clearly illustrates it than this common scenario. I will post something on say facebook along with my opinion. In that ONE SAME post upset people will attack me for my view in the comments. That alone means nothing but here is where it gets interesting. In that same set of comments I will be called both a Liberal democrat snowflake that needs a safe space And a hateful conservative republican that is to stupid and greedy to care about people   Or some such version there of! Isn’t this ironic? That two people that literally hate each other, will both hate me and accuse me of being the other side that also hates me? I ask you does this make any logical sense? No it doesn’t, until you approach the question from the right angle, when we ask why this happens, vs. simply if it makes sense, it actually makes perfect sense. Join Me Today To Discuss… The facebook conversation that brought us today’s show How you have been programmed to think this way since birth Why this method of programming is done and why it works so well How we now have the monkeys policing the monkeys but no one even knows why Why most people will never break free of this programming Why breaking free is good but may not seem so at first What good does it do one to break free from the false dichotomy How to spread this type of thinking without making yourself miserable The true freedom that comes from acceptance of this reality Final thoughts on dichotomy and system based control   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.com – Support TSP When You Shop Online Tax is Theft Video I Played Time – Pink Floyd   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-136- TSP Rewind – How Liberty Creates Inequality and Why that’s Good | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:25:53

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-2000- How Liberty Creates Inequality and Why that’s Good and was originally published on May 9th, 2017. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. There is a fallacy out there masquerading as a universal truth, and that is that our goal in society should be equality for all. That inequality should be eliminated, period. Politically many people have many different views on how that should be done, however the average person would agree that inequality is a bad thing, and should be eliminated. The truth though is while the definition of inequality has been changed by the politically correct you can’t ignore the root of the word. It is formed from two parts, In this case the prefix “in” indicates a negative, as in the word “not”. The component equality comes from the word equal as in each part, person, etc, get the same thing. In other words inequality means “not equal”. So some get more than others, some get less. What we have done is made inequality the same as or equal to injustice, which means a lack of fairness or justice or simply “not just”. These two things are not the same thing. If you think I am splitting hairs tune in today because this is a critical thing to understand when discussing liberty with others. Join Me Today to Discuss… What is an inequity What is an injustice How liberty reduces injustice but increases inequality Why this is a great thing and we should stop trying to create equality No, everyone doesn’t even have an equal opportunity and that can’t ever happen What would a society built solely on equal justice look like   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.com – support TSP when you shop on Amazon Life Will Kill You – Warren Zevon   Sponsors of the Day Bob Well Nursery Harvest Eating Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-135- TSP Rewind – Can Insurrection and Unity Coexist | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:34:55

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-1996- Can Insurrection and Unity Coexist and was originally published on May 2nd, 2017. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. When I started this show I was a minarchist libertarian, over the years I made the logical migration to full on voluntarist. Many people of anarchist ideology see no value to things like national borders or any “love of country”. I am not such a person, though I am labeled as such at times. The truth is in all things I am first a pragmatist. It is great to know how things should be so that we can strive for that, but it is also important to know how things are, so we can adapt to and over come them in the now. To me anarchy is something for humanity to one day rise up to, rather than descend into as the fear mongers would say. In the end though we have what we have today, and honestly in the US despite our flaws we do have many opportunities and recognized rights that many other nations do not. Part of me loves my country, more accurately the ideals of my country, the ideal for instance that all men are created equal in regard to rights. That each of us should have the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I think that is a good common ideal to share among all free men and women, a source of unity. Yet in every place our nation falls short of these ideals, I feel the spirit of insurrection should be alive and well. We all know that governments do not grant rights, they either protect or trample upon them. And once government takes a right away by increasing their power, they never give it back willingly. It is only thought rebellion and insurrection, that power is taken from the state. Words like revolution, rebellion and insurrection conjure up images of violent resistance. Yet the state is violence, the state is force and the state is very good at these things, hence we do not strike the opponent where he is strong, rather where he is weak. Join Me Today to Discuss… Insurrection is America, without it there is no America Understanding nations/countries vs. states Insurrectionist victories in America (note one can have victory without “total victory” Civil rights Gay rights Gold Ownership Home Brewing Prohibition Raw Milk Cannabis It is better to rebel before you have to Ways to rebel Grow your own food Barter and side hustles Partaking in the “gray market” Proactive apathy Self directed learning Make high return untaxable “investments” Learn about and use crypto currencies Spread voluntarist ideologies A nation built on insurrection requires future insurrection to survive   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.com – Support TSP when you shop online.  Episode-134- TSP Rewind – How Preparedness Leads to Liberty | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:21:15

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-1991- How Preparedness Leads to Liberty and was originally published on April 25th, 2017. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. If you go find my TSP forum profile you will see a bit of text that says, Liberty is precious, fight to keep it! I guess it is about 8 years since I put those words on my profile and my view of the value of liberty has only increased since that time. Since day one I have said the real mission of The Survival Podcast is to educate people to the concepts of Self Sufficiency, Self Reliance, Independence and Liberty. To me those four ideas can’t be separated. Join Me Today to Discuss… First let’s define the four pillars of TSP Self Sufficiency – The percentage of your needs met by your own systems Self Reliance – The duration in time you can live well without systems of support Independence – The ability to control your own life on your own terms Liberty – The freedom to fully exercise your independence Why people choose bondage over liberty Programming and conditioning (domestication) Fear Misdirected morality How Preparedness Leads to Liberty It removes fear It directly addresses programming and domestication It requires independent thought It is counter to the norm, and requires action It sooner or later pays off, so you know it works The things we should be taught are our personal responsibility as children Food Water Shelter Energy Security Finance Health Education Why the system will never take this approach   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade The Year 1991 Join Our Forum TspAz.com – Support TSP when you shop online.  Episode-133- TSP Rewind – Do People Really Want Freedom | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:35:53

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-1928- Do People Really Want Freedom and was originally published on Jan. 10th 2017. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. The word freedom has almost been risen to holy status in our society. You see people absolutely lose their minds if someone say burns a dime store flag that they personally paid for, because, “that flag symbolizes our freedom”, etc. Most People Willing Put On Their Own Chains Our nation is touted as “the freest nation in the world” and anyone questioning the claim is shouted down and told nonsense like, “well then move to Somalia”. I am sorry but a person point out discrepancies and concerns about liberty is not told to just move to Somalia in a society that actually loves freedom. In the end I don’t think the question is so easy to answer. On the surface, sure everyone yearns to be free, but do they really and how is freedom defined by those answering the question. We will examine this today and more. Join Me Today to Discuss… First let us acknowledge the places where we do tend to have more freedom Speech The Right to Bare Arms Ability to Build a Business To Practice or Abstain from Religion Now let us define freedom What is pure freedom How do most people actually internally define freedom Understanding the conflict What real freedom means You have no right to anything rightfully acquired by another person No one should ever take away anything from anyone against their will You are solely responsible for your own needs You have no right to interfere with others actions unless they harm another So do you really want freedom? Proof that most people do not want freedom HOAs Legislation of subjective morality The most tyranny happens at low levels of government Massive support for compulsory education Over reaction to every tragedy How people act when you say, “I am not going to vote” Violent defense of the system they claim to hate The absolute rejection of Ron Paul Final thoughts   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade The Year 1928 Join Our Forum Walking To Freedom TspAZ.com – Support TSP When Shopping Online Mamma’s Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys – Waylon and Willie   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-132- TSP Rewind – Developing the Skill of Self Leadership | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:17:33

Today is an episode of TSP Rewind, commercial free versions of past podcast episodes. Today’s episode was originally Episode-1895- Developing the Skill of Self Leadership and was originally published on Nov. 8th, 2016. The following are the original show notes from that episode.. Today facebook is ringing out the bells of the end of all as we know it. Half screaming that is Hillary wins WWIII will happen by February and the other half claiming Trump will have a hit squad out knifing Mexican orphans throwing them over the wall. Sorry guys at my age I have seen all this shit many times before. The surprise to me is how many times I have read the word “leader” and “leadership” in all of this. As in, “the US is in desperate need of a great leader”, that type of thing. As if any of the psychopaths that are fighting for control are worthy of being followed? So my show will be about leadership today, but now about leading teams, or nations or companies, rather leading only yourself and by doing so your family and your loved ones. Tomorrow you will likely wake up to either President Trump or President Clinton, baring any Bush/Gore type of close call of course. Either way, no matter what you think now, the reality will begin to truly sink in as we move into 2017 and one of these two taking the oath of office. Sooner or later you will be faced with reality, you are in charge of you, period and you control nothing more than you control yourself, so let’s get a jump start on that today.   Join Me Today As I Discuss… What it was like for me as I was building TSP The story of the shepherds and driving vs. leading The reality that your politicians are not even supposed to be leaders The keys to personal leadership It all starts with circles of influence vs. concern Define the mission Set priorities for tasks based on what you like least Be passion driven but pragmatic as well Find ways to inspire yourself Put compromise in your back pocket Embrace, hardship and struggle When you get to “good enough” go at least a little further Don’t try to be anyone else, be who you really are Never shift responsibility, never make excuses Above all be honest, especially with yourself Final Thoughts   Resources for today’s show… Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TSP Gear TspAz.com – Support TSP When You Shop Online Eye of the Tiger – Survivor   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.  Episode-2684- The Time to Build Independent Income has Long Since Come | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:18:18

Okay guys and gals, one more new “Just Jack Show”, tomorrow we have an expert council show then Monday starts a 13 part rewind series designed to help you get what you want into your life.  Today I want to prime the pump and give you something to want, as you go though that series. I really feel the coming rewinds have been combined and enhanced in a way that makes them some of the absolute best work I have done in 12 years of doing this podcast.  I really want you to get the most you can out of them. On that if someone asked me for the three biggest things a person can do to have more freedom in their lives I would say they are… Get at least far enough away from big cities to avoid most of the problems that go along with them Set up at least a small holding homestead that provides you some of your food and a lot of beauty in your life Create a source of income independent of employment in the conventional sense   Life is too short to wait until you are almost dead to retire for a false promise of walking down a beach that you may never step foot on.  Only two days shy of 12 years ago today, I took a 20 dollar MP3 recorder, the only free time I had (my commute) and started a journey that in 18 months led to almost total lifestyle freedom.  There are many ways to do it, and if I can do it, so can you. Join Me Today to Discuss… The reason I chose independent income for today’s title over starting a business A recession IS COMING, not might be, IS, a depression may be coming, and that means get on it now Real estate in major cities across the nation is about to crash led first by a drop in rent, yes I am serious There is literally nothing you can do to stop what is coming, you can’t pray it away, vote it away or argue it away What you can do is build something of your own Something I heard one time that applies more to secondary income then it does to jobs When a person says “but what can I do”, their problem is a lack of Motivation Imagination Determination Yes it is that simple, don’t look for it to be complicated The only rules of sales and marketing you need to know There are only two types of products, phyical goods and “services” (e-products are services) Every product that sells is either needed or wanted, there is nothing else There are three true desires that all products fit into, only three Profitable Entertaining Life Changing When you have all three, you have the “golden trifecta or product marketing” Sales is a transfer of belief Marketing is telling your story Viral Marketing is when others tell your story, it isn’t new People will help you, but it won’t matter until you don’t really need their help Final Thoughts I really just gave you everything you need The rest is only academics and action The only thing to add is the permaculture principle of “Apply self-regulation and accept feedback” It is now and has always been all on you, you will or you won’t   Resources for today’s show… Follow Life With Jack on Instagram TSP Facebook Group Join the Members Brigade Join Our Forum TspAz.com Eye of the Tiger – Song Facts Eye of the Tiger – Survivor   Remember to comment, chime in and tell us your thoughts, this podcast is one man’s opinion, not a lecture or sermon.
