Issues Under Fire

After analyzing the 2017 elections results, we believe the nation has made significant progress it its understanding of what the GOP will and will not deliver. We also believe, more Americans are understanding the GOP's true motives and real agenda. A mere cursory examination of the GOP's budget, tax cuts/reforms and healthcare proposals to date, will clearly reveal they do not have the people's best interest at heart. If the Democrats play their cards right, 2018 could be a blood bath for the Republican Party.

Still, we think a smart compromise can be reached between those hungering for some form of gun control can be reached with those who reject any thought of it whatsoever. Smart gun technology is being developed that can provide acceptable solutions to both Second Amendment and gun control advocates alike.

Facing an unprecedented backlash from Clinton loyalists for exposing the DNC as being as crooked as a dog's hind leg, Donna Brazile is telling her critics they can go to hell. As far a Brazile is concerned, she's got a story to tell and she's gonna tell it. In her book entitled "Hacks: The Inside Story of Break-Ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House", Brazile broke ranks with the DNC establishment by explaining exactly how the Clinton campaign took over DNC operations. In short, Clinton paid off the DNC's debts in exchange for control of the decision-making process

While all attention has been focused on the all out civil war within the GOP, there's been scarce scrutiny given to the seething dissatisfaction among disgruntled and disenfranchised Progressives within the Democratic Party. In fact, to let truth be known, many Progressives no longer consider themselves Democrats. And for a Democratic Party strapped for cash, that's a big problem, because angry Progressive don't donate. The reality is, more and more grassroots Progressives are considering creating a viable third Party to represent their interest.

America has finally reached a point where its now on a permanent war footing. "We the People" are now being told the fight against terror will last at the very least twenty to thirty more years. Sitting back and accepting what the so-called experts are predicting, we'll only see our great grandchildren being asked to say something if they see something. We say give technology a try. It can't possibly do any worse than what Congress is doing now or will do in the future.

If we've said it once, we've said a million times. Nobody makes billions of dollars in New York and around the world without lying, cheating, stealing, evading taxes, bribing public officials, hiding assets and conspiring to coverup those and other criminal activities. While the world is looking for collusion, the investigation is looking for crimes committed. And if our observations are correct,"45" must be shitting bricks in the Oval Office today.

Artificial Intelligence may be the answer. After all, A.I. has already been accepted and used to assist us in many areas in a our lives. A.I. helps drive our cars, trucks, busses and trains as well as fly our aircraft. Along with robotics, A.I. is being used in everything from manufacturing to medicine. If the technology and intellectual capacity exist today to create a better, fairer and more representative form of governance (and it does), why would anyone continue to accept the dangerously flawed human element that's undeserving the country and beyond. Lets face it, we have a certified lunatic in the White House. How much worse does things have to get before we seek another way?

Apparently, CREEPS are everywhere. With #MeToo exploding on Twitter the topic could no longer be ignored. Something is horrible wrong, because if the majority of these allegations are true and there's no reason to believe otherwise, that means more men may be CREEPS than not. How does one process these facts? Why has this epidemic of CREEPY behavior gone underreported for so long. Why have so many remained silent for so long?

Whenever there's a lack of leadership, special interest will fill the void. Hence, special interest is why Americans are asked to fight endless wars all over the world. But the endless wars are just the tip of the iceberg. Special interest is why Americans don't have affordable healthcare. Special interest is why Americans don't have access to affordable education. Special interest is why Americans are working harder, longer and for less money every year. Special interest is why America is denying climate change. Special interest is why the EPA is now rolling back regulations that protect America's fresh water sources and air quality. And yes, special interest is responsible for America's opioid epidemic.

Whatever is motivating Mr. Pruitt, it appears he has little support beyond the oil and coal industries, "45", the ultimate climate change denier and an assortment of toxic polluters of fresh water and clear air seeking relief from regulations that manage their activities. With this in mind, its no wonder why some would develop a particular disdain for a man they feel is contributing to the destruction of the environment. When you Google someone in Mr. Pruitt's position and can't find any favorable stories about him at all, its safe to say he has far too many credible critics to be doing the right thing.

Yes, it was simply one of "45"s off the cuff slanders intended to denigrate and belittle the former president, that trigger a backlash that took on a life of its own. When the dustup escalated between Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, "45" and White House Chief of Staff, John Kelly , even casual observers began paying attention. The more coverage the dustup got, the more people wanted to know about the dead soldiers and what happened to them. With few answers coming from the White House, some began wondering if the administration even had a clue. It wouldn't be the first time.

America is at a tipping point. And it could go either way. The nation's true colors is in the process of being exposed. Will those colors be Red, White and Blue, or just White? All one can do is wait and see.

Having to admit a friend, colleague or relative may be suffering from mental illness can be difficult and embarrassing. Mental illness can be uncomfortable for many because by its very nature mental maladies creates an environment of uncertainty, unpredictability and instability. And when people are determined to be uncertain, unpredictable and unstable, its difficult to hold them accountable for their actions. This is why the world is in such a precarious predicament. "45" is screwy, but America can't admit it yet. Doing so would only create more uncertainty, unpredictability and instability around the world.

If you didn't think Kim Jong-un got the message when "45" Tweeted Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was wasting his time talking to Pyongyang because "only thing will work.", you should think again. And even though that "one thing" wasn't clearly explained, most are guessing it means war is imminent. Still, while its true the North Koreans are infamous for making outrageous threats against the United States and its allies, this time they could mean it. Kim Jong-un is clearly signaling he's no more interested in diplomacy at this time than "45" is.

With the entire international community watching, Donald Trump left little doubt, that for the foreseeable future, the United States is not an entity to be trusted or dealt with concerning any issue of consequence. Its become painfully obvious United States has a credibility problem that's crippling its ability to be taken seriously by anyone. Considering Donald Trump has been proven to be a pathological liar, when he stated Iran had violated the multilateral nuclear deal on more than one occasion we had to check with the authorities who'd know the truth.
