Make no mistake about, the immigration crackdown is in overdrive. And Donald Trump has ordered his Justice Department to find shortcuts and clever workarounds to rid America of anyone in the country without permission, no matter what their reasons or circumstance. If you're not arriving without papers from places like Norway, Scandinavia, Sweden or Switzerland these days, your stay will be as brief and miserable as the United States can make it.

Progressives, Independents and "WOKE" Democrats are looking at Hillary Clinton and what she stands for in the rearview mirror. And they're happy to be driving in the opposite direction. To those with a clear view of tomorrow, Hillary Clinton is like a horror movie with a never-ending ending. She's an everlasting reminder that Hell is hot. Perhaps the "Shut up and Get Off the Stage" movement should amend its slogan to read STFU and GTFO of our lives. Anything less and she'll remain in denial. Call it Tough Love

And because hate, intolerance and religious persecution have been stoked to all-time highs, the profitable business model of arms dealing has been replicated worldwide. After generations of privileged living, having homes all over the world, traveling to every corner of the globe and sampling every culture on the planet, life can get boring. And since laws and moral codes of conduct rarely apply to the uppermost of the uppermost, when the lines between right and wrong and good and evil are crossed, ordinary people have been to accept that fact that, when it comes to the rich, the famous and the powerful, history has shown, virtually anything goes. Donald Trump may have to be brought along kicking and screaming, but it looks as though he's decided to join the world in making Russia's Vladimir Putin, boogyman of the year. And why not? He's tailor made for the title. He's got nukes and he's threatened to use them. Vladimir Putin's alleged actions and suspected ambitions is guaranteed to trigger a multi-trillion dollar Cold War arms race over the next few years. And that means unprecedented profits for the world's military industrial complex. So, call your broker today, because its all about defense stocks tomorrow. Remember, just follow the money and you'll never go wrong.

By hook or by crook, Donald Trump became president of the United States. Ever since that tragedy befell the world, he has delivered on his promise to take the country in another direction. Trump cut social services for the poor to pay for tax cuts for the rich. Trump cut foreign aid to the needy and dispensed with diplomacy. Trump is rounding up undocumented people as fast as he can while banning as many Muslims from entering the United States as the courts will allow. And now he's promoting the face of torture to lead the CIA. Thomas Jefferson said, "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice can not sleep forever." Now those are words to remember when Karma comes around.

Let's face it, these are dark times. In fact, they've never been darker. Of this, I am certain. There's a deranged madman in the White House orchestrating national and international events, without the slightest concern for how his directions will impact the lives of Americans or the rest of the world. What we're witnessing is a close up of lunacy without checks or balances. That said, the only thing left to say is, come one come all. Welcome to the Donald Trump presidency. If it's not canceled soon, it may go down in history as the greatest show on earth

If Americans turned on a cable news channel and heard hundreds of elementary school-aged children had just been massacred in a deadly shooting rampage, rabid supporters of the Second Amendment wouldn't shed a tear, share the sorrow or seek a solution.

CBS News is reporting a recent yearlong study offering solid evidence that over-the-counter pain medications like Tylenol and ibuprofen have proven to be just as effective, if not more so in treating stubborn backaches or hip and knee arthritis. According to the lead author of this study, Dr. Erin Krebs, a physician and researcher for the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, although opioids have gained a reputation as being really powerful painkillers, that's not what the research found. To the contrary, opioids actually provided slightly less pain relief to chronic sufferers. And even though you can bet your bottom dollar, Big Pharma knew this all along, you'll never see a pharmaceutical CEO get a lethal injection of his own medicine or a bullet to the head.

If this post was merely about out of control military spending on the U.S. military-industrial complex, perhaps it wouldn't have struck such a chord with me. But this story is so much bigger than that. When Vladimir Putin gave his state of the nation address, he reassured the Russian people Russia's military buildup would not come at the expense of the quality of their lives. Putin is promising to defend his nation and feed the poor at the same time. What a concept!
