Issues Under Fire

Since it became apparent that goading Kim Jong-un into a nuclear exchange wasn't enough to keep the head lines from reporting Trump's ongoing political and legal troubles, reasonable minds can call this latest madness for what it really is. Donald Trump is scared, running out of options and desperate. But, if he can shift the world's attention for even two or three 24 hour news cycles, his twisted mind, the world will forget the daily revelations plaguing him and his administration by then. Unfortunately for Donald Trump, the world is watching and watching closely. And it won't be distracted by a dangerous stunt like this.

Those who are waiting and wondering when Donald Trump to be impeached or indicted, may have to be patient. But in the meantime, there is another way 45 could exit the world stage. Just imaging how elated people around the globe would be if they to got a late Breaking News alert that Donald Trump had been found unresponsive and unable to be revived with a half chewed Triple Meat Whopper with Cheese stuffed in his gullet. That said, the only thing left to say is, Bon Appetit Mr. President, Bon Appetit.

Think about it, the only thing average Americans have to look forward to down the road is stagnate wages, higher taxes, unaffordable healthcare and major cuts in social services and programs designed to sustain the poor, the elderly and children. And this is no exaggeration. "We the People" have been raped by the Big Rich and they're laughing all the way to the bank. One can only imagine the holiday parties the upper-class will enjoy at our expense this year and for years to come, because "We the People" will be on the outside looking in. Or to state the situation more accurately, we'll all be on the ground floor wondering what life is like in the penthouses high in the sky. Still, there will be some winners among the lower-classes.

No Flue Shot

If threats of crippling economic sanctions and complete annihilation of Kim's regime have had absolutely no effect on North Korea's determination to be recognized as the world's tenth nuclear armed nation, nothing will. Hence, one can reasonably deduce this standoff will continue until the United States is forced to accept the same arrangement it has accepted with the Russians. M.A.D. Mutually Assured Destruction. Or, like some like to put it, "Don't Start None, Won't be None".

So, what's a reasonable person to think? Who are we to believe? Do we believe Donald Trump, a proven pathological liar or Elizabeth Warren, whose story leaves a lot of room for doubt and even more room for tough some questions. This story has been swirling around Warren for years and has become a question of her character and integrity. She could put these ugly allegations to rest, with a simple DNA test to confirm a racial link to Native Peoples or confirm the ugly truth. And considering Cherokee groups have demanded more proof, Warren has an obligations to do make every effort deliver it.

In all honesty, it was a tremendous financial strain to continue producing Issues Under FIre in its current formate, let alone the added expense of doing business in a post Net Neutrality environment. Without your support, moving forward could prove to be an insurmountable challenge to take what we do to the next level. The Game of Grabass and the Rich and Famous

These are dark and dangerous times we live in today and having a thin skinned, narcissistic, egomaniac in the Oval Office considering the nuclear option only exacerbates the world's predicament. Fortunately, there's hope. There's Special Counsel's Robert Mueller's investigation and there's the upcoming 2018 elections to look forward to. We're certain either will be the beginning of the end for Donald J. Trump, Madman Extraordinaire.

From the dispute over North Korea's pursuit of long range nuclear weapons, to the South China Sea conflict, to regional trade issues, it was plain to see Donald Trump's message was received with no more than a big global yawn.

In the heat of anger, disgust and decades of pinned up pain and anguish, its understandable people are thirsting for justice, payback and a chance to finally confront and hold these creeps accountable for their despicable actions. But its not understandable to rush to judgement, jump to conclusions or disregard the notion of everyone is deserving of a fair trial/hearing no matter how vile and repulsive the charges are against them. While the court of public opinion is expedient and satisfying because the outcomes are predictable and immediate it must be remembered, this is Kangaroo Justice and dangerous.
