Terminator 2: Judgment Day is still an incredible movie with great action and story elements. The CG is a bit old, and that psych ward scene is painful, but everything else is A+.
Double Tap was super fun! We loved the relentless zombie-killing, blood and gore, slow motion action, fun characters and comedic moments. Plus, Bill Murray and Elvis' blue suede shoes!
Gemini Man was a little fun, but that CG pulled us right out of the movie every time. Fun story, though, with Mission Impossible overtones.
Joker was a bleak, depressing movie. No fun, no excitement and all drama without the characteristic genius evil-doing Batman-nemesis that we grew up with. But, Joaquin Phoenix was good.
Zombieland is a super fun, exciting and smart zombie movie... with Bill Murray! We decided to discuss this one in preparation for Double Tap coming soon.
Rambo: Last Blood was a fitting send-off for our beloved Vietnam veteran. Revenge action and violence has never been more visceral nor satisfying.
We're huge fans of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Great writing and a fun story with killer action, witty dialogue and cool comic booky, video-gamey visuals.
Angel Has Fallen was a bummer of a movie! Too predictable and nowhere nearly as enjoyable as its predecessors. What a terrible way to conclude a franchise.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is one of the best spoofs of all time! We absolutely love it! The comedy is spot on and the premise of taking an old kung fu movie and creating something new from it is comedy genius!
What a satisfying conclusion to a killer trilogy.
This was a worthy follow-up to the initial adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner and Elizabeth Swan. The introduction of Davey Jones and a cutthroat East India Trading Company made from great baddies.
What a fun re-watch! The Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy holds up and the comedy mixed with action and adventure in a period piece is a must-see. And, Captain Jack Sparrow!
Hobbs & Shaw had unbelievable, crazy action with great comedic one-liners, and we had a rockin' good time! This is a great spin-off to the Fast & Furious Franchise.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood may have been meandering and a little boring at times, but the acting talents of DiCaprio and Pitt are on full, glorious display.
Army of Darkness is still one of our favorites! We saw it back in '93 with our grandma and a cousin, but the two of us enjoyed it more than anyone else in the theater.
