Wow! Aquaman was spot on a great movie! Fingers crossed for more DC greatness to come. Good action, cool special effects, nice acting and a great story that progressed nicely.
Ghostbusters holds up today and is just as funny and exciting as ever. Take it from two guys who've seen this dozens of times each.
The Gentlemen was great movie. We both gave it an "A" and it's very reminiscent (in all the good ways) of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Guy Richie respects his audience, and we love him for that.
Bad Boys for Life was fun, but the cliched action and story, along with a few annoying fake-outs, don't have us recommending this one (unless you're already a Bad Boys fan).
1917 was incredible! We both gave this incredible one-shot war epic an A+. Please, please, please go see this in theaters if you haven't already.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is still a great time traveling comedy with a small twist; instead of changing the past they're trying to learn from it. Loved it!
Ready Or Not was a fun "get 'em" horror movie but isn't one either of us are likely to watch again. Sky recommends it, Dusty... not so much.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker had a really choppy story that worked too hard to right the wrongs of the prior episode. It had some good parts, but it wasn't anywhere near the Star Wars movie we wanted.
Jumanji: The Next Level was a great follow-up to a great re-do! We both loved the new characters and actors along with new story elements and settings.
Team America: World Police holds up! Just as funny as ever and it's a great send-up of Bruckheimer movies, actors, dictators and Hollywood pretentiousness.
Knives Out was a great murder mystery that up-ended the genre. We loved the acting and the story progression. It was surprising that Rian Johnson pulled this one off after making the disappointing The Last Jedi.
Originally aired on 1.17.19. Sky enjoyed Galaxy Quest a bit more than Dusty did, but we both recommend this one to the listeners. Great sci-fi action and story, tons of comedy and great performances by all! Some good lessons were learned, great props taken home and no minors/miners were harmed in the making of this episode.
We both enjoyed the real-life story of Miles' and Shelby's Le Mans win in 1966 in Ford v Ferrari. Bale and Damon were incredible as the two that led to victory.
We love spoofs, and Hot Shots! Part Deux is one of the best of all time! Charlie Sheen, Lloyd Bridges and Valeria Golino knock this one right out of the park.
Sky enjoyed this one (with the help of some rum and giving himself permission to enjoy it), but Dusty... not so much.
