CBS Sports Radio Show - 4/21/19: Raiders Brutal 2019 Schedule, Scouts Go Home!, Paul Minor's Journey | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:28:20

We spend our Easter show talking about the abomination that is the Raiders schedule and the latest on the NFL Draft. The NFL schedule was released this week and there is no doubting the Raiders have a tough road ahead in 2019. In addition to having the most difficult schedule in the league, the team will have a stretch of 49-straight days where they won't play a home game. That's five weeks straight as a road team - including a game in London against the Chicago Bears. Is that fair? The NFL says it's just the way things work out but Raider Nation isn't buying it. We'll talk about the scheduling and what it may mean for Jon Gruden and his team. Many in the national media went bananas this week after news broke that Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock sent the team's scouts home earlier this week. Our own Chaz Osborne - an NBA scout with the Los Angeles Lakers for 10 years - says it's not a big deal and the scout's work is done. So why is it a story? Another example of the media slamming Gruden? We explore. We also talk to Paul Minor, a Raiders fan who is on the journey of his life to lose weight and everyone in Raider Nation is helping. Minor talks with us about his journey and how fellow Raiders fans are helping him stay on target. It's an amazing and uplifting story from an overwhelmingly positive young man.  CBS Sports Radio Show - 4/7/19: Mo Moton & The Case For/Against #Raiders Drafting a QB | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:24:08

There seem to be two camps within #Raider Nation: one thinks there is no possible way the team drafts a quarterback high in the draft. After all, you have franchise QB Derek Carr already in the silver and black. Then there are those who aren't sold on Carr or think it's a distinct possibility. We'll debate this and talk more about #Raiders draft targets. Fansided and Bleacher Report writer Mo Moton joins the debate as he believes the Murray to Raiders talk is a masterstroke of trolling by Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock.

Fitzgerald also told us how the cap has really changed the league and where the #Raiders are at for 2019 and beyond.  CBS Sports Radio Show: 3/10/19 - Ray Fittipaldo, Vinnie Iyer, Moe Moton & Jerry Porter | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:24:33

Antonio Brown is a Raider. We talk with Pittsburgh Steelers beat writer Ray Fiittipaldo about him and get insight from the man who covered him for years. Moe Moton of Bleacher Report gives us his reaction too as does The Sporting News' NFL writer Vinnie Iyer. Also: former Raiders WR Jerry Porter gives us his take and also tells us about his experience in asking for a trade as an NFL player. Fittipaldo covered Brown during his entire Steelers career and gives us insight into what spoiled the relationship in Pittsburgh and what the Raiders are getting with the talented Brown. Moe Moton of Bleacher Report also chimes in on the Brown trade and what it means for Derek Carr's future in the silver and black. Sporting News NFL writer Vinnie Iyer also tells us what the impact of the trade of Brown to the AFC West may be and also helps us with some final takeaways from the NFL Combine this year. Former Raiders wide receiver Jerry Porter - who also demanded a trade during his career - gives us a player's insight into the situation and how the massive contract might influence other signings and contracts for wideouts. Lastly, our own Hayden Nadolny calls in from Down Under and says the trade was brilliant for the Raiders and he'll tell us why. It's uncertain how the acquisition of Brown will impact the Raiders plans for a wide receiver-heavy draft in 2019. Even with adding Brown, the Raiders need depth at almost every position on the offensive side of the ball. Current wideouts on the roster include 2018 free agent acquisition Jordy Nelson, veterans Seth Roberts, Keon Hatcher, Dwayne Harris, and 2018 seventh-round draft pick Marcell Ateman. Only Nelson and Roberts have seen significant playing time for the team. Catch the Silver and Black Today radio show which airs every Sunday from 8am-10am in Las Vegas.
