We bask in the glory of another Raiders win as they down the Denver Broncos 21-14 pulling within one game of the AFC West leaders Kansas City. But has the team turned the corner? What can we learn from a win against the sinking Broncos. Scott Gulbransen and Scott Winter give you their thoughts on the team's performance and what it means for the rest of 2017. Also...some Raiders Las Vegas stadium news and involvement in the local community.
In our Thanksgiving Week podcast we discuss yesterday's firing of Oakland Raiders Defensive Coordinator Ken Norton Jr. and what it means for the Raiders future. Will the promotion of John Pagano make a difference? Is Jack Del Rio on the hot seat? We also visit - one last time - the Patriots loss. Moving ahead...we talk about this week's home game against Denver and what it could mean for the Raiders (wait for it) playoff chances. As always, please visit www.lvraidersreport.com for the latest news on the Raiders on and off the field.
Scott & Scott are fresh off attending the big Raiders stadium groundbreaking in Las Vegas this week and discuss how transforming it will be for the city and the team. They also talk about the evening and conversations with both team and local officials. The show then turns to the Raiders big game against the Patriots in Mexico City on Sunday. A win would make a big statement and get the Raiders much closer to climbing more seriously into the playoff race. The rest of the AFC West is struggling so Oakland must continue to win over the next several weeks for a good shot. The Board also addressed the Republican tax bill in congress which could impact the financing of the project. We then sit down with Laborers Local 872 Business Manager Tommy White on his and his workers involvement in the stadium project.
