This episode, Alicia and I discuss the OS changes and the few hardware changes Apple presented during their conference in San Jose California.  This was a different feel compared to the other Apple conferences. and not just because it wasn't in San Francisco.  We mostly speak to our plus and minuses of what we saw and what we didn't see at the WWDC 2017 conference.

So Alicia and I went to see the newest version of Alien.  Alicia's not a fan of the Alien series but I actually enjoyed them.  Since we both enjoyed Prometheus, this movie supposed to have extended the thought of the previous movie and lets you know whats next.  Of course there is an abundance of stupidity in the movie but we have our opinion. 

This session Sean and I review the Talib Kweli & Styles P "The Seven album" as well as David Banner's "The God Box". new releases.  We welcome back the voice of Styles P to the rap game and we break down the activist release by David Banner.  interesting perspective with some serious decent production from both releases. 

Today Sean and I  complete our NBA Finals and wrap it up by giving praise to the almighty Seyi Omonira who predicted the outcome all along.  We speak to the contributions from the Cav's as well as some of the reactions of the Warriors even after they won as well as the Greatness of Lebron James. Also as a preview to things to come.  We look at a few early trades and talk to our resident expert about the NBA draft and what impact it will bring to the upcoming season  

This episode Alicia speaks to women and children at Apple's WWDC 2017 in San Jose Ca.  Once again finding out their views and how they got into Tech. As an IOS developer, Alicia is right at home with her peers and the Apple employees she has come to know and love

Fighting alongside men in a war to end all wars, she finally discovers her full powers and true destiny This Episode Alicia and I go to a late showing of Wonder Woman because we heard so much about this movie as well as checking out the interviews with the stars and the director.  Since this is a DC movie not a marvel.  I was of course cautious of this being a good movie.  But we got to enjoy this film from a very different perspective.

This episode of CarWaxx we talk to a few ladies on how their hair is part of there everyday life and who they are.  But at the same time we talk about how ladies do what they have to do to balance that life and the personal decision on how they want their hair.  We talk about natural hair, weaves, extensions, et cetera. Also what impact does their hair choices impact their financial situation and societys reception of women of color who wear their natural hair. Then, is there a market for women of color to capitalize on the huge billion dollar hair market, or is it something the corporate world and black society leaves in the hand of others?  And does this have  any effect on a woman self esteem?  Big question!!

Tonight we look at the Black Panther trailer for the 18th time.  The buzz and feedback has been so overwhelming that we had to do a review of the review of the trailer.    We also give credit to the original artist that does the theme (run the jewels - Legend has it)

Google I/O is an annual developer festival held at the outdoor Shoreline Amphitheatre in California.  Google I/O brings together developers from around the globe for an immersive experience focused on exploring the next generation of tech.   For episode 5 of Women in Tech, Alicia attends the Google I/O conference in Mountain View California.  Alicia speaks to a few women with different talents she met at the conference on their experience and thoughts on women in Tech. Also little of her experience for the second time at Google I/O

When a mysterious woman seduces Dom into the world of terrorism and a betrayal of those closest to him, the crew face trials that will test them as never before. Alicia and I have a late night movie watching binge.  Even though I've heard good and bad things about this movie The Fate of the furious.  The all star cast returns and we get to see all the new cast members and sit and watch how this next big blockbuster really turns out.  You might be surprised or not surprised by our review of this movie.  I should have listened to my favorite podcast Cinemile when they did the review of the movie as well.

This session Sean and I review the Gorillaz Humanz new release (plus a few youtube video's) Humanz (deluxe version).  This vitural english band has been doing alternative music since 1998.  with 4 animated members.  With a twist of what Genre we normally review this was a group I listen to in the past and Sean wanted a different feel to our review.  We finish the review with B.O.B one of our favorite rappers from Decatur Georgia with his new album Ether.  Two different artist/groups that we reviewed. 

This episode Alicia and I talk about the fantastic movie Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2.  Since we both saw the first one and I read the comic books from Marvel, we had to see the new one.  Alicia had to see it during her conference and I saw it with my daughter Milan.   But we had to see vol. 2 and experience this funny, loud exciting movie.  We kinda look at this from our different experience with different people but still able to give a great perspective of the movie.

This second installment of Urban Wine Life from the Robertson Winery.  I try a $6.99 Robertson Winery  Sauvignon Blanc.  This is a South African wine that normally shows up pretty well (reference the Chenin Blancs and Chardonnays) During this episode, I try this South African Sauvignon Blanc and sadly compare it to the best regions for this grape such as  Oregon State and New Zealand. Here are the notes. Full bodied with powerful varietal flavours of bell-pepper, green apple and freshly cut grass. Good structure with lovely balancing acidity.
