Today Chaz and I talk about the importance of healthy eating and working with a budget that would not kill your paycheck. We talk about bulk shopping (Sam's, Costco's, B.J's) and Organic buying with specialty markets (farmers markets, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Fresh Market).  With the fast pace of millineals in this era.  They need options in order to budget their paycheck, reduce the chance of getting sick and how do you add eating to your enjoyment.

A talented, young getaway driver relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams, Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom. Alicia and I went to the movies on the basis of the great reviews for this movie and the star studded characters in the movie.  What we found out was this movie was filmed in Atlanta and O boy it was so cool to see Atlanta in its full form.

On this episode Alicia as a member of Women who Code Atlanta, host a women's conference in Atlanta Georgia called We Rise Women in Tech Conference.  During this conference Alicia changes her interviews to the men who are speakers at the conferences and gets their view point about how they can help women and what are they are doing for women in tech.  This was a good opportunity to speak to a minority when women are the majority and men are the minority.   

In 1951, cancerous cells from Henrietta Lacks lead to breakthroughs that change the face of medicine forever. Aided by writer Rebecca Skloot, Deborah Lacks embarks on a quest to learn about the mother she never knew. Alicia and I reviewed this HBO movie produced by Oprah Winfrey because we read the book     The immortal life of Henrietta Lacks a few years ago and really felt that this was an important message about a remarkable African American woman that effected science forever. So we wanted to see if the movie would give the family and book justice.

Today's podcast, Sean and I talk about the two new release by 2 Chainz and Big Boi.  Two South side atlanta rappers with their own unique way of telling their own story.  Living in Georgia as these two were coming up we some changes and not so subtle changes in styles and production.

When fate leads him to pull the Excalibur sword from stone, Arthur embraces his true destiny to become a legendary fighter and leader This episode Alicia and I discuss the new Guy Ritchie flick, King Arthur - Legend of the sword.  Critics and audiences did not favor this movie not one bit.  But Alicia and I like Guy Ritchie and wanted to give the movie a chance (not often do we do that)

This podcast Sean and I talk about the most disappointing releases that came out this year that we had higher expectations for.  Some say it was a waste of thought, other say we are blasphemous.  We give our opinions on the releases and perhaps some we did not spend the energy to even give enough air time on.

For an out of the ordinary review, We decided on a new TV series on Starz to review.  The critically acclaimed novel "American Gods" created by Neil Gaiman comes to TV.  I mentioned this series to Alicia early last year because we both are big fans of Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies).  And this show has all the creative flair of the two of them in such different ways.  Check it out, it is partially complex but both horror and entertaining at the same time.   Here's the series summary.  Enjoy!!

The team discuss the new Ice Cube venture with basketball called "the Big 3".  Old ass NBA trying to regain their Glory while playing in a televised pick up game.  One of us is all in the others have some very strong opinions.  Just saying

On todays Women tech talk, Alicia and I talk about the new features of Google assistant and Google home that she got to experience while she was at Google I/O.  This was a good effort Google showed better thanthe previous year and a good challenge to the other two major players in the assistant realm (Alexa, Siri) as well as the home automation market.  We not only have a google home now but we both downloaded the the google assistant on our Iphones as well. This is the first time in a long time I can become a tech lover and not a follower of just Apple products.  Should be a very enlightening conversation from Apple fans. .

We get the team together to talk draft and how once again the brilliant Seyi Omanira predicted the top 5-6 picks of the draft as we sat in awe.  Trades were the most animated discussion when we discussed the state of the NBA with the Super Team GS Warriors destined to win the next 3 championships.   We end with the televised Award show that brought nothing to the conversation other than how late it was to present the seasons top players, coaches and miscellaneous fill in award

This episode of Tech Talk we review the highlights and Alicia's visit during the Google I/O conference in Mountain View Ca.  Alicia compares the previous year's conference to the current one and highlights the standout issues she experienced. Like always we break off topic comparing the other major players in their sector (Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Facebook) with the products and innovations that came out during this conference.
