Chaz and I semi look back at the year of doing adult things, being responsible and preparing for the future. Now that the holiday seasons upon us. The anxiety of not having fun and doing things other than being an adult has become frustrating. What can a single millennial do when stagnant life becomes boring. Also a short review of Black Friday and impulse buying.   

Alicia and I go to see one of our favorite actress, two upcoming black males and the amazing director Steve McQueen. This movie Widows was based on an 80’s British TV series that was rewritten by Steve and McQueen and Gillian Flynn (gone girl, sharp objects, Dark places) mixed review of this movie.     A police shootout leaves four thieves dead during an explosive armed robbery attempt in Chicago. Their widows -- Veronica, Linda, Alice and Belle -- have nothing in common except a debt left behind by their spouses' criminal activities. Hoping to forge a future on their own terms, Veronica joins forces with the other three women to pull off a heist that her husband was planning.

This understated and easy-drinking red wine captures your attention immediately with aromas of sweet red berries and licorice. Alicia and I take a quick binge trip with this very interesting Amazon series converted from the podcast series of the same name. Beautifully done directed by Sam Ismail better known for his work with the Mr. Robot series. This conspiracy military, rehab center, DOD suspense thriller takes you on a slow burn with corporate corruption, deception and pharmaceutical poisoning to a very real story line for profit Heidi Bergman is a caseworker at Homecoming, a facility that helps soldiers transition back to civilian life. She leaves Homecoming to start a new life living with her mother and working as a small-town waitress. Years later, the Department of Defense questions why she left, which makes Heidi realize that there's a whole other story behind the one that she's been telling herself. Oscar winner Julia Roberts stars as Heidi in the first regular TV series role of her career. "Homecoming" is based a podcast of the same name.    

The guys return to discuss a little press freedom given to our country from the Constitution. If there is a way to get to Trump through the Mueller investigation, Congress or what ever. We discuss our conflicting views of the condition of the Trump white house and is the change in the house is really something that will change the country.

Our second half review falls on a producer.  Metro Boomin is synonymous with the Atlanta sound.  Seems to be always on the Quality Control hits and then some.  We speak to the features and his creative way he decided to approach this solo album with a massive cast of QC artist.

We thought this would be one of the must see movies of the fall since Alicia and I were readers of the Stieg Larsson millennium trilogy. From The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo  to the 3rd book The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest, This release was based on the posthumous release released in 2015 under the Swedish title Det som inte dödar oss (literal English translation: That Which Does Not Kill Us); the English title is The Girl in the Spider's Web . This is that movie. Fired from the National Security Agency, Frans Balder recruits hacker Lisbeth Salander to steal FireWall, a computer program that can access codes for nuclear weapons worldwide. The download soon draws attention from an NSA agent who traces the activity to Stockholm. Further problems arise when Russian thugs take Lisbeth's laptop and kidnap a math whiz who can make FireWall work. Now, Lisbeth and an unlikely ally must race against time to save the boy and recover the codes to avert disaster  

The guys come together to discuss the ongoing election results, the results from the primaries, the firing of the AG Sessions and so much more.  Our recap will be lively confusing and somewhat optimistic.  Even though the Democrats did well, we talk about the future with the new House, female congress boost and the many Governor changes in the states, Pelosi leadership and female leadership on the republican side.  

As a continuation of the Quality control releases of the year. We take a listen to the Third member of The Migos, TakeOff. With no features listed on this release. We were very skeptical with what we were going to hear. Especially with the amount of Swag Offset and Quavo always bring to the team.

We go to the movies to see one of our favorite bands of our childhood. Queen. Knowing almost all the hits and some that we did not know they made. We wanted to go to the theater and sing along with the screen. I was not a big follower of Freddie Mercury but we were aware of some of his exploits. So the lack of craziness they didn’t show wasn’t a big deal to us.

So the Daredevil series. I wasn’t a big comic book fan of his but he always showed up with some of the characters I liked. So I was familiar with the origin and a bit with the Frank Miller series as well. I jump in on the 3rd season even though I seen them all as they released. I go over it on my own because of my Marvel obsession and how i follow almost anything  is released of Marvel Characters.  Here's my thoughts.   "Daredevil" follows Matt Murdock, attorney by day and vigilante by night. Blinded in an accident as a child, Murdock uses his heightened senses as Daredevil to fight crime on the streets of New York after the sun goes down. While Murdock's day job requires him to believe in the criminal justice system, his alter ego does not follow suit, leading him to take the law into his own hands to protect his Hell's Kitchen neighborhood and the surrounding communities
