 Ep.28 Breaking Down Judgement | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4:31

what is judgement? Let’s break it down and not let it break us down. Judgement is essentially self-righteousness, meaning self-satisfaction or superiority. When Judgement occurs, it only ever happens from your own experience. Your perception of someone’s choices and journey and your judgement of this, is based on your belief systems, your values and your life experience. As humans, we all have our own vision and goals and uniqueness. When people judge us, that’s because they lack our vision and experience and compare it to their own – Which is great! What works for me is awesome….For me! It doesn’t mean it’s right for anyone else. What works for you is awesome… For you! Anyone in the world who is doing amazing things are always being judged. Muhammad Ali was undoubtedly one of the most judged people of his era. He learned to harness this and use it as fuel by making it his best friend in his pursuit as ‘The Greatest’ boxer and activist of all time. Judgement, or perceived judgement of ourselves, can be a limiting factor in us achieving our goals and visions. If we think we’re being judged or will be judged, we’re less likely to pursue with intent. When people are judging you, send them love, because they’re confused. Learn to make judgment your new best friend!

Ep.25 Failure Cannot Cope With Perseverance, With Matthew Pavlich | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:22

This episode is less about sport and more about purpose, values and the transitional attributes from sport into family life and business. Matthew Pavlich is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played 353 games over a 17 year career, and all for the same club – the Fremantle Dockers. He was also the captain for 9 years. This just shows the type of leader he is to maintain these positions and have such a long and successful career. Pav, as he’s known, is now a proud father of 3 and a successful businessman, having completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA). He’s a business owner, board member, media presenter, brand ambassador and guest speaker In this chat we don’t really talk about his footy career in terms of specific games or details, but we dive into his mindset and leadership qualities that he’s learned from a lifetime in sport and how these transfer into life after footy. We also talk a lot about his family values, because this is how I’m connected to Pav, through my sister, and she always speaks so highly of how he and his beautiful wife Lauren have created an amazing family bond and are inspirational parents. So I knew from these chats with my sister that Pav was a man that could provide this podcasting community with genuine, authentic value. And as you’ll hear through our discussions, I wasn’t disappointed. In this episode you will learn: - The power and importance of identifying your purpose and values in both your careers and your family life. - The 5 Leadership buckets - What Pav’s self talk was to allow him to consistently be one of Australia’s best AFL players for so many years. - The powerful process of Commit. Do. Review. - And how his leadership qualities from sport have helped him in his successful business ventures. You'll hear Pav talk about the influence that his coaches had on him and taught him personal skills to make him a better person and not just a better athlete.  Ep.22. BONUS EPISODE. Resilience, Adversity and Legacy. Brett Robbo Interviewed on The Marty Vids Show. | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:06:34

This is a bonus episode because i’m often asked by listeners about MY challenges, MY views and MY mindset. I’m cautious when I have my guests on, that I don’t talk too much. The purpose of getting the Inspirational and Influential humans on that I do, is for them to provide their abundance of value. Yes, I do put in my views and philosophies throughout the chats, but I do try to keep it minimal so we keep the knowledge bombs flowing. So instead of me doing solo episodes just talking at you about my personal challenges, views and mindsets, I thought it would be more powerful to hear how I answer questions when i’m on the other end. Marty Vids who is interviewing me, is a very successful business owner and was Managing Director at mortgage 500 for over 6 years which was awarded brokerage of the year under his helm. He’s also a podcaster and business mentor. I wanted to share this episode with you because I found his line of questioning unique to me and he asked me some questions i’ve never thought about before and allowed me to dive deep into some areas i’m very passionate about. We connected because I had been listening to his podcast and absolutely loved the interview he did with Ironman champion Trevor Hendy. So I reached out to Marty on FaceBook and asked if we could meet for a coffee while I was in his home territory in Queensland earlier in the year, because I love connecting with great humans, as you know, especially when we’re on similar journeys, and I wanted to talk podcasting with him. And that turned into him interviewing me in my cousin's garage. In this episode you will learn: - Tools to create a resilient and winning mindset - The foundations of Empathy and Compassion as human connection states - How to turn adversity into advantage - And How exposing your vulnerabilities can be your greatest asset Resources Discussed in this episode: www.martyvids.com.au Marty’s podcast - The Marty Vids Show CREATE YOUR RESILIENT AND WINNING MINDSET: www.yourlifeofimpact.com/coaching Charity support: If you’re keen to support the LIFE Tee’s charity component, please follow this link.
