Episode 5: Tiffanie Hage | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

Hey everybody! Welcome to Episode 5 of chatologie with Angie Elkins. My guest today is wife, mom and integrative health coach, Tiffanie Hage. Her story of her journey toward a healthy lifestyle is so inspiring to me. She has even made me believe I can give up sugar! I’m not even kidding. Also, guys, I want to take a minute to tell you that our sponsor this week in Gently Bound. Remember them from episode 1?  Britt Nelson is the artist behind this beautiful company that creates hand pained Bibles and journals. I can’t wait to tell you more about her later in the show. I want to take a minute to thank all of you who have subscribed to chatologie! When you subscribe, it makes it so easy for you to find new episodes because the are downloaded directly into your podcast app every Tuesday morning. If this is the very first episode you’ve listened to, I’m so very glad you found me! If you like what you hear, take a minute to subscribe so you don’t miss a single episode. Again, if you’re new to chatologie, I want you to know that this is an inspirational podcast that I hope you will find uplifting and entertaining…and give you a boost on Tuesdays…to keep you going through the week. Tiffanie Hage is wife to Preston, and mom to 2 teenage boys, Ethan and Ashton. At first glance of her IG page and you would think she’s some kind of little blonde pistol with perfect abs, but I’ve known Tiffanie for a while now, and I know that she’s a regular mom, just like me who has been on a journey. She’s been up and down on the scale, tried different careers and kept all the plates spinning that every mom spins. But something has happened with Tiffanie and she’s found her “thing”. Do you know what I mean by that? She’s actually found the thing God created her to do and she’s loving it. Recently, I had a conversation with a friend who said she felt like a failure. She said she always gets excited about new ideas, etc., but she feels like it never lasts. I thought about her words for a while and then I messaged her back, “I think you’re just trying to find your thing”. It’s not that you’re a failure, it’s just that sometimes we have to jump in with both feet to see if this is the water we can swim in.” Well, Tiffanie Hage, has definitely found a safe pool of water that she can swim in. Encouraging others with her passion (healthy eating) is her passion. I promise, this is not just another interview about how we all need to get fit. There is absolutely no guilt here. Only inspiration. So if you are needing just a spark of motivation to get you going, I feel sure you’ll get that today with my conversation with Tiffanie. Tiffanie’s favorite things and other things we mentioned: * Outback Nation (Tiffanie’s episode) * Fixer Upper * Wired to Eat by Robb Wolf (book) * 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman (book) This week’s sponsor:  Gently Bound Britt Nelson is the artist/creator of Gently Bound, and guys, she is so talented. Take a minute to follow her on Instagram and look at her gorgeous, custom, handprinted Bibles and journals. They are truly beautiful! Wouldn’t a handpainted journal be a beautiful gift for a kid going to college this fall? I love them so much! Britt also has an amazing story and will be one of my guests on chatologie in the near future! Hey by the way, she’s also designing a new logo for me & I’m super excit...

We talk about everything from her days as a designer of couture dresses for the mini princess to living a life as an expert on surrender.
