Episode 3: Stacey Thacker

chatologie show

Summary: Hey everybody! Welcome to Episode 3 of Chatologie with Angie Elkins. I’m so glad you’ve decided to listen in on my conversation today with Stacey Thacker. Stacey is one of my dearest friends here in Orlando, and today is the first time she’s spoken publicly about her husband’s cardiac arrest in February of this year. It’s a really dramatic and powerful story of God’s presence, and I’m excited to share it with all of you today.
Before we get started, I’m so happy to tell you that the show today is sponsored by Premier Designs and method-1.com. These are 2 amazing companies that I will tell you more about later in the show, so definitely listen up for that.
Also, would you be willing to help me out? If you could take a quick minute to rate and review the podcast on iTunes, it would help me so much. It helps others find the podcast easily. A listener, Jennywhit2 wrote this review on iTunes: “For those of you that need to know that our Heavenly Father can redeem any and every circumstance this podcast is for you! Loved the first episode and looking forward to more to come!” Jennywhit2 also gave chatologie a 5 star rating. Thank you so much Jennywhit2! It’s really easy to do, just go to iTunes, click on ratings and reviews and leave your comment. It’s really simple! Before I introduce you to Stacey, I want you to know that all the favorite things she mentions in our conversation will be included in the show notes, so don’t worry about grabbing a pen to write anything down. Stacey is a blogger at staceythacker.com and mothersofdaughters.com, and she has written “Hope for the Weary Mom” with Brooke McGlothlin (who will be a guest on chatologie in a few weeks), and most recently “Fresh Out of Amazing”, which Stacey will talk about in our interview. She’ll also talk a little about her new book coming out in August called “Is Jesus Worth It”. Not only do we talk about some of what Stacey has written, we discuss the unexpected loss of her Dad several years ago, her daughter’s illness, and most recently, the very dark days after her husband’s cardiac arrest. I’ve been hanging on every word she’s written or spoken lately, and I know you’ll find this as inspiring as I did. So, now for the good stuff…here’s my interview with Stacey…

Today’s sponsors: http://cathilumbert.mypremierdesigns.com and http://method-1.com
