Softy and Dick H3 - Bush Hamdan on the Husky offense / Bob Rondeau on the ASU game, the Husky history with BYU, and his pick of the week | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1719

Softy and Dick H1 - Fairweather fans / Can Felix pitch? / Dick & Dave in the Locker Room with Shaquill Griffin & Matt Lubick / Lee Sterling | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2261

Softy and Dick are live from the Central Bar and Restaurant in Bellevue. We startoff today with a couple of polls. Softy wants to know where Hawks fans stand on the team after the first three games. Is there a chance this season turns around? Might we just miss the playoffs, and will we regret not utilizing Chris Carson more in the first two games? Dick hasn't watched a Mariners game in over a week, but they're out of it. There's nothing to play for. Is he a bad fan for not spending time watching M's baseball every night? Softy argues that almost all fanbases are fairweather fans to an extent, with very few exceptions, and any fanbase that's gone through what M's fans have wouldn't watch at this point either. Dick and Dave are in the locker room once again, today talking with Shaquill Griffin and Matt Lubick. Paramount Sports handicapper Lee Sterling shares his college football and NFL picks for this weekend.

Softy and Dick H2: From the Central - Fact or Fiction: The Autumn Wind / Mike Holmgren on all things Seahawks and the NFL / Chris Petersen | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3092

Softy and Dick Fain are broadcasting from the Central Bar and Restaurant in Bellevue. Dick makes his Fact or Fiction pick using special audio props, unfortunately no one recognized Autumn Wind as the Raiders theme. Dick says Raiders cover, the argument over the cultural reference ensues. Former Seahawks head coach Mike Holmgren joins us at the Central to break down last weekend's game, explain how he'd approach the Earl Thomas controversy, the 1984 Washington - BYU game, and more. Speaking of the Huskies vs. the BYU Cougars, Softy talks with Chris Petersen about this weekend's game.

Softy and Dick H1: From the VMAC - Larry Scott says "not targeting" / Earl doesn't practice / What can Pete do? / Clint Hurtt on the D-line | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2309

Softy and Dick Fain are live from the VMAC in Renton as the new football week begins for the Seahawks. Larry Scott said this morning that Porter Gustin's hit on WSU's Gardner Minshew was very close, but it wasn't targeting. Did he even see the play? There's no way anyone can watch that play and come up with that conclusion. It's interesting how college football and the NFL seem to be diverging when it comes to penalties. It's not overly-surprising, but Earl Thomas didn't practice today, and Pete Carroll says this is a normal thing for him on Wednesdays. That's technically true for the last few weeks, but not over the long-term. What can Carroll really do in this situation though? Defensive line coach Clint Hurtt takes a deep look at his guys' play so far this season. He tells us what's working, and what isn't.

Softy and Dick H2 - Dick and Dave in the locker room with Jake Browning and D.J. Fluker / Petros Papadakis / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2323

Softy and Dick continue live from the VMAC with today's Fact or Fiction pick, and it's not one Softy makes lightly. Despite his rooting interest, Softy says Oregon easily covers the 2.5 point spread and beats Cal. It's our second installment of Dick and Dave in the Locker Room. This time, Softy catches up with Husky QB Jake Browning on Montlake, while Dick talks with D.J. Fluker at the VMAC. Petros Papadakis tries to bring insight into what Pete Carroll is thinking, in regards to ET, and what Larry Scott is thinking by claiming the Gustin hit wasn't targeting. We take your texts at 49451, and our robot Texty reads them back every day at 4:45 in a segment we call Textimonials.

Softy and Dick H3 - Rick Neuheisel on the Dawgs and the Pac-12 / Kevin Harlan on the NFL / Tiger Woods comeback / Bill Krueger on the M's | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2862

Rick Neuheisel tries to make sense of the infamous Porter Gustin hit last weekend. What could possibly justify the non-call? Speaking of the Cougs, how are they looking so far this year? What are the biggest challenges the Dawgs face against BYU this weekend. The NFL has it's own penalty controversy, but in the pro league's case, they're calling too many..... way too many. Kevin Harlan has a few thoughts on that, and his weekly look around the league. Tiger Woods' win isn't getting nearly as much attention as it would have gotten if it were in the summer, but it's still a huge moment in golf. This could be the start of the comeback golf fans have been desperately waiting for for the better part of a decade. No one athlete has ever had a bigger impact on their sport, and Tiger's return could mean huge things for golf. The Mariners season is basically over, and Bill Krueger is already ready to look back through and figure out where things went wrong, and what needs to change before 2019.

Softy and Dick H1 - Husky Honks with Hugh Millen and Dick Baird - Legion of Tomb / Poise in the pocket / The old men of BYU | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2434

The Huskies did something they haven't done much in the last couple of decades. They beat the Sun Devils! The defense looked absolutely solid, led by BBK. The secondary may be the best they've ever been, Hugh calls them the Legion of Tomb (as in tombstone). The offense looked better, especially the line, and Browning had a new poise in the pocket, but the criticism of him continues, and likely will until he's able to prove himself against a top tier team. This week the Dawgs face BYU, a big, strong, and older team that have been a bit of a surprise this season.

Softy and Dick H2- Fact or Fiction / Michael Robinson says you can't extend Earl / Jon Wilner on Pac-12 football / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2517

The Vikings were obliterated by the Bills last week unexpectedly. Will they be able to bounce back against the Rams. Dick believes they will cover. It's today's Fact or Fiction pick. Michael Robinson was on earlier today with Cliff and Puck, and he's adamant that after ET's latest comments, you can't re-sign him now. Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News discusses the hit on Minshew, the state of the Cougars, the Husky secondary, and all things Pac-12. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show.

Softy and Dick H3 - Walter Jones / Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk / Debora Juarez's comments / Brian Schmetzer / Tuesdays with Tod Leiweke | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 4294

Former Seahawks, NFL Hall-of-Famer Walter Jones talks Seahawks football. Will Pocic get his job back? Is it easy to switch Sweezy? Miek ....errr... uhh I mean Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk shares his thoughts on Earl Thomas' latest comments, the Seahawks defense, America's team, and more. The arena deal is done, but not without the city council, specifically Debora Juarez, insulting Sonics fans in the process. The Sounders' winning streak ended last week. Now they've started a losing streak, currently at two. Brian Schmetzer, head coach of the Sounders talks about the latest developments from the club. Tod Leiweke's weekly Tuesday visit is full of excitement following the arena deal with the City of Seattle. He talks about what it took to get the deal done, and what's next in the long, grueling process to get an NHL team to Seattle.

Softy and Dick H1 - Pete Carroll Press Conference / Earl Thomas after the game / Opponent Audio Recap: Cowboys | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2845

Pete Carroll spoke to the media at length today at 3 as he usually does, answering questions about Earl Thomas, and yesterday's game. Softy barged his way into the locker room yesterday and got to speak with ET after the win over Dallas. We play back the audio in all its glory. It's the first Hawks win of the season, which means it's the first Opponent Audio Recap of the season; highlights from the Cowboys Radio Network with Brad Sham, Babe Laufenberg, and Kristi Scales.

Softy and Dick H2 - Fact or Fiction / UW a Tier III team? / Joel Klatt on the "exceptionally average" Husky offense / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2688

It's our first Fact or Fiction pick of the week and we're going with Pittsburgh +1.5. They'll probably end up winning outright. Softy says, in terms of college football, Alabama is a Tier 1 school, Clemson, Georgia, etc. are Tier II, and Washington is only Tier III, albeit the top of the tier. Joel Klatt believes the UW defense is of playoff caliber, but the offense is just "exceptionally average". Textimonials weigh in on what to do with Earl Thomas. Softy says if we're going to keep changing the rules of the game, let's just get rid of helmets so that guys will stop hitting as hard. Fans won't like it, but it's the next logically step.

Softy and Dick H1 - Earl Thomas misses practice, may not play Sunday / Softy's theory on ET / Hawk stock: Buy or sell? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2511

More craziness happening with Earl Thomas as he reportedly missed practice today while dealing with a personal issue, and may not be available for Sunday's game. And who are they playing Sunday? Oh look, it's the Cowboys. Speculation has now spread with everyone assuming this smacks of a trade to Dallas. Softy isn't convinced that's the reason though. This is likely about Thomas making things difficult for the Hawks until they give him what he wants. There's a lot of chaos coming from the VMAC, and the play on the field isn't instilling a lot more confidence. If the Seahawks were a stock, would you be buying or selling right now?

Softy and Dick H2 - Yogi Roth previews Huskies and Sun Devils / Jake Browning regression / Scott Huff on the UW run game / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2469

The Pac-12 Network's Yogi Roth is in Seattle covering the Dawgs vs. ASU game on Saturday. He gives us a preview of the matchup from both sides. Jake Browning has regressed over the last couple of years it would seem, but it isn't all his fault. On top of an injury, he's lost some key pieces around him. Scott Huff, offensive line coach for the Dawgs talked about what got the running game going against the Utes last weekend. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show.

Softy and Dick H3 - Gregg Bell, what's up with ET? / Bob Rondeau talks Husky football / Fun with Audio / Anthony Beyrouti of Venue Kings | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3129

Gregg Bell has had a chance to speak with Earl Thomas, albeit very briefly. He's got the latest on what we know, and his thoughts on what we don't know for sure. Bob Rondeau joins us for his weekly look at the Dawgs courtesy of SimplySeattle. Brian Schottenheimer says he needs to do better, the Browns win and everyone goes crazy, and Larry Fitzgerald won't finish an interview until Tiger Woods takes his shot. Venue Kings' Anthony Beyrouti is your connection to the best deals on tickets to sporting events, concerts, and more around Seattle.

Softy and Dick H1 - We hate to say it but... / Dick and Dave in the Locker Room with Duane Brown and Chris Carson / Lee Sterling's picks | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2187

Softy and Dick are live from the Central Bar and Restaurant, today and every Thursday before Thursday Night Football. We hate to say that this is a must-win game, but it is. If the Hawks go 0-3 against three teams that may not even make the playoffs, it's going to be a rough season. Playing those first two games on the road was tough, and we can't look past the fact that both team's looked solid, but the Hawks need to do better. Russell Wilson has never missed a game, but he can't keep getting knocked around the way that he has been. Today is the debut of our new segment Dick and Dave in the Locker Room. Today they interview Duane Brown and Chris Carson. Lee Sterling, handicapper with Paramount Sports has all your NFL and college football picks.
