Softy and Dick H1 - Huskies in the World Series / Earl Thomas holding out / Alex Hardy on the Dawgs' big win | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2386

There's a lot going on on this busy Monday, but the biggest story today is the Huskies' baseball team making the College World Series for the first time in program history. Last night's game against CS Fullerton got kind of crazy, but they pulled it off in extra innings. Earl Thomas is holding out, which isn't too surprising, and at this point isn't too impactful. Should the Hawks sign him, trade him, or let him sit out? And is this as big of a deal as when Kam sat out a few years ago? Huskies closer Alex Hardy talks about his team's big win last night, and the first-ever appearance in the College World Series.

Softy and Dick H2 - Are you taking sides on the Earl Thomas hold out? / Bill Krueger on the Mariners / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2533

Usually fans seem to side with the team during player disputes, but our poll suggests that maybe people are on Earl's side. Softy says if we're going to get rid of him, we should try to trade him now and get what value we can. The M's continue to dominate, going 4-2 on their road trip. Bill Krueger of ROOT Sports talks about it as he does every Monday at 4:20. Textimonials react to the first two hours of the show.

We play back some We play back the best sound bytes you might have missed on Hey, Did You Hear That? Shohei Ohtani could be sidelined until 2020 if he has to undergo Tommy John surgery. We get you ready for tonight's game on Baseball's Heritage Pre-Game Show.

Tonight is Game 4 of the NBA Finals, between the Warriors and the Cavaliers. We were pretty confident that Cleveland would take Game 3 and that obviously didn't happen. Now, we're pretty confident Golden State is going to finish the series tonight. Corey Brock of The Athletic joins us as he does every Friday to discuss the Mariners. Shohei Ohtani has been placed on the DL, which is relevant because the M's play the Angels next week. No one goes around rooting for players to get injured, but let's be honest, we're not exactly disappointed when we don't have to face the other team's top guys. Do you think Angels fans are disappointed they don't have to face Cano? Mariners starting pitcher Mike Leake joins the show to talk about his last few phenomenal starts, the M's pitching staff, and the inspiration behind this year's Mariners magic.

Softy and Dick H2 - Oregon State pitcher Luke Heimlich isn't drafted. Does he deserve a second chance?/ Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2370

The Oregon State Beavers have made the super regionals, and Luke Heimlich gets the start for them today. The MLB Draft took place earlier this week, and had things gone as expected, Heimlich likely would have been a top 10 pick. Instead, he went undrafted. Heimlich had pleaded guilty to molesting a relative, but has since publicly claimed he's innocent. It seems no MLB team wants to take the risk on Heimlich. Given the circumstances of the case, should he be given a chance to play professional baseball? Textimonials respond to the controversial Luke Heimlich discussion.

The Mariners lost to the Astros last night. Nicasio didn't look so great after having a string of great outings. The offense though, kept the team in the team up until the very end. There's something to be said for a team that can keep it close and give you hope, even when they lose. Is Frank Clark holding out? Cliff Avril seemed to think so, but he also pointed out that these hold-outs rarely work. Clark needs to show up to minicamp next week. A radio producer in Buffalo kept his promise and quit his job after the Bills drafted Josh Allen. Adam says he'll quit his job of the Mariners win the World Series. For what should other KJR producers put their jobs on the line? KJR's own Seahawks reporter Curtis Crabtree discusses the Frank Clark situation, and the team's pass rush.

Softy and Dick H2 - Tyronn Lue has to go / Seahawks may get rid of paper tickets / Kevin Durant: Top 5 all-time? / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2229

Cleveland loses once again last night, and they're probably done. Softy says if he were Dan Gilbert, he'd fire Lue right now, before Game 4. After the poor defensive showing last night, the end of Game 1, and not being able to keep track of time outs, he doesn't seem to have a clue what's going on. Are the Seahawks really going to get rid of paper tickets? Rumor has it that they're going to push for everyone to show proof of purchase on their phones. You'll still be able to get paper tickets, but it'll cost you. There's always been something great about getting those season tickets in the mail before every season, and being able to collect ticket stubs from big games. It looks like that might be a thing of the past now. Could Kevin Durant really be a top 5 all-time NBA player? Last night's performance made it clear that he could end up in that category. A high school golfer in South Dakota lost her school the state championship when she self-reported a scorecard error. Textimonials respond to today's show.

An Astros fan is enraged over Mike Zunino's home run in last night's game.

Stephen A. Smith interviews Steve Harvey, who is apparently a big Cavaliers fan, and things get kind of weird. Ken Norton Jr., the new defensive coordinator of the Seahawks joins the show to discuss his return to the team, the defensive strategy for this season, and the players who haven't shown up for OTA's. Finally, we open the sportsbook before Game 3 of the NBA Finals. It's your chance to win everything while risking nothing.

Softy and Dick H1 - Mariners begin series against Astros / Where will the M's be at the end of June? / Chris Crawford on M's draft picks | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2356

The Mariners begin a two-game series in Houston tonight and it's hard not to get excited. It's been so long since the team has been in the playoffs. Can you imagine how insane this city will be if the team breaks the 17-year playoff drought? This series begins what could be the team's biggest test of the year; a long stretch against the best teams of the AL. What do you think their record will be at the end of June? The 2018 MLB Draft is underway. Chris Crawford of Rotoworld discusses the M's picks, including first-round pick Logan Gilbert

Softy and Dick H2 - Don't tell us to get over it / Hey, Did You Hear That? / Textimonials | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2340

There's been a lot of reaction to our discussion about Howard Schultz yesterday. A ton of Sonics fans are as bitter as we are about the team moving, but others don't seem to get it. Everyone deals with this in their own way. Yes it's been ten years, and yes we're still mad. Don't tell us to get over it. On Hey, Did You Hear That?: Tristan Thompson responds to being asked if he has a sense of hopelessness guarding Curry, Klay Thompson didn't realize how much he uses his ankle, JR Smith misses the message sent by hecklers,Giancarlo Stanton to Mike Fiers "don't hit me", and more. It continues to be a tough season for the Sounders, and there are rumblings that supporter apathy may be setting in. Head coach Brian Schmetzer responds to this idea on the program, as well as discussing this week's matchups against Sacramento and DC United. Tony Castricone, the new voice of Husky football joins us to talk about the Dawgs upcoming season, and the overall state of UW athletics. The Cavs are down 2 games to 0 against the Warriors in the NBA Finals. It goes without saying that they need to win tomorrow to stay in it, but the good news for them is that they're at home. The World Fame 100 was released a couple weeks ago, a list of the 100 most famous athletes in the world, and Dick was struck by how provincial we are here in the US. No baseball players made the list, very few football players and none above Tom Brady at 38. The one US-based league that seems to be doing well is the NBA which is a testament to the work David Stern did to make the league an international success.
