Now that the TYT MD-2017 Dual Band DMR HT has been out for a while, I wanted to talk about some of the issues it has, show you how to fix them, and perform a firmware upgrade on camera. In this episode, I replace a faulty SMA connector, and upgrade firmware to version 3.35, the newest version at the time of this recording, which fixes some issues with the radio and adds 100,000 contacts to its internal memory.http://livefromthehamshack.tv
