 SharkRF openSPOT2 Debut and Setup | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1312

Most folks who know about DMR or DSTAR or YSFG hotspots have heard about, or probably own, the SharkRF Openspot. This was a very versatile plug-n-play hotspot from SharkRF out of Estonia for a couple of years. The only draw-back to it was the fact that it was Ethernet only and didn't come with built-in WiFi.Finally, after about 3 years of waiting, the Openspot2 has been released. This is the same quality of product that you came to expect from its predecessor and it has lots more options, including WiFi, and a few more modes. Check the video for details on this cool new device.Be sure to subscribe for more Ham Radio video: https://goo.gl/6hjh2JCheckout my website: https://livefromthehamshack.tvIf you want to support me, follow my Patreon link: https://goo.gl/FkESU6

 Episode 157: Rugged Spot Hotspot DMR/DSTAR/Fusion Pi-Star | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1304

From NexGen Hotspots, the Rugged Spot, one of their top sellers - a review. The nice thing about this hotspot, over others, is that the company will set it up for you so that it automatically connects to your home wifi, making it a truly plug-n-play hotspot. Running on Pi-star, like many hotspots today, gives it the robust customization that end users are used to experiencing from the software. If you are in the market for a new hotspot, this Rugged Spot is a good choice. The solid construction and sleek look of the device have impressed me.Be sure to subscribe for more Ham Radio video: https://goo.gl/6hjh2JCheckout my website: https://livefromthehamshack.tvNexGen Hotspots: https://hamradio1.com/ruggedIf you want to support me, follow my Patreon link: https://goo.gl/FkESU6
