Jason Glunt for Salud Beer Shop is in studio. Jason Glunt and Jeff McEwee of Salud Fud join us in studio to talk about their new deli and their new brewery. On the phone is Brian O’Neil from Benford Brewing in Lancaster, SC. Benford will be the current home for Salud Brew using Salud’s equipment and brewers.
Bart Roberts , lead brewer for NoDa Brewing Co., and John Watkins, head brewer for Lenny Boy Brewing, got together for a collaboration style bock a few weeks ago. These two Charlotte brewers have a history that goes back to their days working at Alternative Beverage, the local homebrew store. Their love of lagers and all styles that are bright and clean led to this collab. Two batches were made, one at NoDa and one at Lenny Boy and should be available in the next couple of weeks.
