Hello all, as requested, here is a 30 minute practice which fits easily into the working day for those of you who are busy and would like to practice more regularly. We focus on the breath and explore how the fully functional breath can help us to find strength and build endurance and stamina. The holds are longer than usual. Please don't put yourself under strain and don't go into pain! If you need to rest then rest in child's pose until your breathing returns to normal. Above all be kind to yourself.  Tight tummies and tops - level 1 class to ease the digestion and release tight upper bodies | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:11:00

This is a 70 minute class suitable for Thrivers of any level. The focus is on easing the digestive system and releasing connective tissue in the upper body. You will need a mat, a wall to do Viparita Karani (legs up the wall pose), a belt and either a yoga block or a bolster or cushion if you need something to sit on.  Merge the Body and the Breath - 75 minute practice | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:15:00

This is a 75 minute yoga class I taught at the Penny Brohn Centre in Pill, Bristol. It is suitable for those who have completed level 1 of yogaTHRIVE and are ready for the next step. You will need some wall space as we do Viparita Karani (legs up the wall) and Ardha Chandrasana (half moon). You will also need up to four blocks; if you don't have blocks you can use a stack of books, a box or something similar. We open with a meditation on the breath. The meditation is good for pain relief and provides a perspective on the psycho-physical emotional response to the breathing cycle. This is a simple awareness of the breath practice which is suitable for beginners or those who wish to have more guidance in their practice.

Hi - this is the first class to be published. It is suitable for beginners and Thrivers It would be good to follow this class directly with Non-digital Alternate Nostril Breathing to complete the relaxation at the end, as we lost the audio with about 3 minutes to go. To do this podcast you will need: a yoga mat, a block or a cushion, possibly a belt to assist with the quad stretch and to hold if you can't interlock your hands behind your back for the chest release.
