Summary: This is a 75 minute yoga class I taught at the Penny Brohn Centre in Pill, Bristol. It is suitable for those who have completed level 1 of yogaTHRIVE and are ready for the next step. You will need some wall space as we do Viparita Karani (legs up the wall) and Ardha Chandrasana (half moon). You will also need up to four blocks; if you don't have blocks you can use a stack of books, a box or something similar. We open with a meditation on the breath. The meditation is good for pain relief and provides a perspective on the psycho-physical emotional response to the breathing cycle.
