This is a really random episode, but it has a bit of everything. It was supposed to be 30 minutes. But I love to talk! It's a libertarian show so anything goes! I did end up missing my flight that moring, so the sabotage worked.. "Me time" always involves a little Ron Paul too. I shouldn't be doing an episode tonight. I have a flight at 7 am to go do this docmentary about the "u know what", and it's kinda taking me back... cause they want me to bring all my pictures and journals ets. Music is like the best timeline marker guide for parts of my life. I guess it is for everyone. I figure I'm already playing music tonight while packing, I might as well let others hear. Maybe they like the same stuff. If not, oh well. RON PAUL IOWA AWESOME. Here I am wasting time and have to pack. II'll tell you about it, if you want. Sure, maybe that's kinda always true, but more so today. Call me a nerd if you want! I can't hide it... I'm just so gosh darn proud of the guy! He just restores my faith in humanity, that's what it is... everytime he speaks. I never would of believed you (and neither would anyone that knew me) if you told me in college that I'd care at all about politics in 5 years. But it's not politics, like I always repeat, it's principles. Maybe a girl in her twenties (yes, technically,29) "should have other things on her mind" besides the future of the country. It will have something to do with politics at some point. Going out with my girlfriends I haven't seen in months tonight. Dinner at 7pm and I'll be lucky if they make it to 11PM, muchless midnight (my how things change in just 3 years!) So I should be back for the show and thank goodness cause I'll be holding in my opinions all night (because they are not awake at all & hate when I mention anything "political") It will be a long night. As I write this Ron Paul has raised close to 2.5 million dollars in less than 48 hours. Impressive, considering that money is coming from people just like you and me. Not from Wall Street or Corporate donations but from individuals. Voters. And yet no story on the fact that Ron Paul is crushing the competition with his money bomb. Rather, it's all front page news today about some dead dictator the United States enabled over the years...yes people, the media blackout of Ron Paul continues; which to me is bothersome, because I feel compelled take time away from work to do something about this blatant attempt to silence a man who is screaming for the constitutional rule of law and your freedoms as American citizens. No matter what their intention, the real power comes from you, the individual. You have the power to read your constitution for guidance and compare the message sent to you by those vying for power to govern and the actions of those who currently posses it. Do they or don't they follow the constitution? In that discovery you will know if that person has any regard for your individual liberties. That being said Wall Street dollars going to Romney or media biased attention going to Perry or Cain shouldn't be viewed as a deciding factor as to who our president should be, given that the sheer number of individual donations (one person one vote) to the Ron Paul campaign in less than 48 hours translates to more individuals supporting and voting for Ron Paul than the media and Wall Street preferred candidates. ?…the common & continual mischiefs of the spirit of Party are sufficient to make it the interest and the duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.? Another Saturday Evening show. #22 if counting! I'll be giving a prize to the caller who answers a question (I haven't thought of yet) right. It's just a little calendar I made for 2012. I listened to these people a bit today.. so I'm betting I will talk about things relating to them. Caught a few podcasts of Alan Watts again, one freedomainradio show, one school sucks episode, watched a neocon debate of iran on Cspan 3 (can't believe grown men get away with saying pure BS) So random stuff like technology and how we are dumbed down daily and think "new technology" is reall "new." Eschatological Hiatus To a large degree I think the sixties were probably misplayed. But on the other hand it seems to be the last decade when anything happened. The lid has been utterly on ever since. It's an illusion all this change. There is no change. We're living in some sort of weird eschatological hiatus while the people who rig the game try to send out for new batteries or something. I don't know what's going on. There's energy for change building. I think that when it ultimately comes it will be fairly spectacular. It's astonishing actually the way in which change has been halted. Everyone is running around saying "change change change" but on the other hand there is a curious sense in which things have become eerily dreamlike and still, while we just teeter on the edge of the end of history; and the same personalities, the same design elements, everything has looked the same in the galleries for twenty years. There is an eerie suspension.
