  HQ Full Podcast - Have you heard the latest on the Congressional hearings into the ATF's Operation Fast & Furious"? The ATF was found to have allowed weapons smugglers to walk across the border into Mexico and into the hands of drug cartels. Only 600 of the various weapons have been recovered but close to 2,000 still remain unaccounted for. Some of the weapons have been involved in over 150 shootings and deaths.   Does this sound familiar? What about drug enforcement agencies allowing cocaine to be dumped into the inner cities which led to the crack epidemic of the 80s? I will talk to Sean Dunagan, a recently retired DEA Senior Intelligence Analyst about the inter-agency gun smuggling operation known as Fast & Furious.   Among other news up for commentary and calls is more sad news that another human being has been killed in a senseless act of terrorism. James Craig Anderson, a 49-year-old auto plant worker, is the latest victim of terrorism at the hands of those who practice global white supremacy.

BME (pronounced “Be me”) is a new campaign for all of the black men and teens who are leading others to help improve their communities. They are those inspire other through their leadership and example but may not get the recognition they richly deserve. John S. and James L.   Update: On June 16th, reportedly Judge Chappelle recused himself from the case, revoked Mr. Reid’s bond and ordered a new trail. Mr. Reid has not received a new bond hearing as of today.    The Charles County Dentition center confirmed Mr. Reid was in their custody on 1st degree assault charges. The illegal weapons transport charge and the other two assault charges from the first trial were not listed. Black Talk Radio is working to confirm if these charges have been dropped. We will continue to update the public on this case.

Republican Presidential hopeful, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is in the news for making comments about President Obama’s worldview being shaped by British colonialism in Africa specifically referring to Kenya, the birthplace of Obama’s father. Huckabee said that President Obama’s youth has caused him to resent the West and explains that this is why his foreign policy differs greatly from that of his predecessors. "One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, (is) very different than the average American," Huckabee said during an interview with New York radio station WOR this week. It is troubling that a man, who claims to be a follower of Christ, would take issue with the bust of the British Butcher, Winston Churchill being removed from the oval office. Huckabee’s assertion that President Obama’s foreign policy differs from that of his predecessors is also false. President Obama has not only continued the US military presence in Iraq, he has escalated its activities in Afghanistan and has used predator drones to carry out deadly attacks in Pakistan. At every turn the Obama administration has sought to defend and shield former Bush administration officials from answering for their crimes against humanity which include torture and illegal dentition. A fact check of every point or issue raised by Huckabee during this interview with a right wing radio show will show that either Huckabee is terribly uninformed or has not problem lying to push a right wing neo-colonial worldview.

How can John Fugua not be charged with a hate crime when witnesses reported he yelled ethnic slurs at the children before opening up on them with a shotgun? Why was he initially only given a $5,000 bond, does this show that the magistrate in questions thinks little of the value of Black children’s lives. Here we are in 2011, two years after the incident and Eric Holder’s and Obama’s Justice Department has yet to charge this monster with a hate crime under federal statutes. One must also ask why North Carolina considers hate crimes based on ethnicity to only be a misdemeanor offence.
