 Sports Impacted by LGBTQ+ Agenda | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Women's sports are increasingly being decimated by gender confused men who are identifying as women and the media appears to be celebrating the movement. For example, just recently, ESPN, in celebration of Women's History Month, gave honor to a biological male identifying and competing in swimming as a female. --The LGBTQ- crowd speaks loudly about equity, but where's the equity in all of this-- --Returning to Crosstalk to discuss this trend was Steve McConkey. Steve is president - founder of 4 Winds Christian Athletics, a sports ministry founded in 1988. They take a stand for Christian athletes. For many years Steve was involved in track and field ministries. He, along with his wife, have worked through multiple Olympics.--Discussion on this issue began with Jim mentioning how some will argue that if a male takes hormone blockers, it will put them on the same equal basis as a female athlete. Steve communicated that this is false. Having a masters degree in public health, he looked at competitive swimmer Lia Thomas, who has longer muscles and longer bone structure. He noticed that as a biological male, Lia's -reach- into the water at the sound of the gun to start a race was so much greater, the race was basically over at the start. --He then noted that a male has 30- more strength than a female and the drugs erase little of that, so the advantage is still intact for the male pretending to be a woman.--What about genetic studies-- In one study he cited, he indicated that with 25,000 genes in the human cell, not one genetic component was found for being gay.

Pushing Back Against the Great Reset | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

There's a common goal that is being pushed by the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the World Health Organization and by globalist and religious leaders. The goal is to bring about a great reset via a total upheaval of governments, political systems, the world economy and even world religions. How should we respond-- Should we be passive or cry out against such change-- --Joining Crosstalk to answer such questions was Shahram Hadian. Shahram is a former Muslim from Iran who came to the states in 1978 and committed his life to Jesus Christ. He started the Truth in Love Project and is the founding pastor of Truth in Love Ministry. Shahram exposes the true goal of Islam and the threat of Sharia in America. He has served as a pastor, a police officer and a former candidate for governor in Washington State.--Shahram indicated that the Great Reset goes back to a globalist agenda. He pointed biblically to Revelation 13 where we know one day there's going to be a one-world government with an economy and false religious system attached to it. Another marker he noted was 1991 when Agenda 21 was written. In 2015 it was modified and called Agenda 2030. --On another level you have the involvement of organizations such as the Trilateral Commission. They have designated 2023 as year one of the New World Order. This is what is meant by the Great Reset. Use whatever means necessary. Collapse the economies of the world, their governments, destroy national sovereignty and ultimately destroy faith in God-Christianity.

Globalism: Are We Beyond the Point of Return? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Although we're in a new year, the pursuit of a global agenda hasn't changed. In fact, it's as though it's -pedal to the metal- as the acceleration toward completing this agenda moves forward. Are we beyond the point of return----Joining Jim to look at that question was Gary Kah. Gary is the founder and director of Hope for the World, editor of Hope for the World Update, an author, and former Europe - Middle East Trade Specialist for the Indiana State Government.--Gary believes the one-world order crowd is at a point where if they linger too long, more people will discover what's going on and things will work against them. Keep in mind their goal is to gain complete control over the economic-financial structure and resources of the world in order to install a centralized and heavily regulated, totalitarian system similar to that in China.--One item driving their acceleration is the fact that conservatives under-performed in the recent election. --So are people waking up or are we beyond the point of return-- He indicated that in the last 6-9 months he's seen more people coming around. Related to that is the factor of God's judgment. In a recent article he wrote, -Even at this late hour God could still hold back His full judgment of America if a sincere repentance by her inhabitants were to occur.- He communicated that at this time it looks as though the Lord is allowing things to play out and run their course and that, in itself, is a form of judgment.--Some Christians believe our nation is too special to judge due to our efforts to get out the Gospel as well as our support for Israel. Gary explained that God's promise to Abraham concerning Sodom was situational.

 A New Normal | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Many of us have what we consider a normal, daily routine. How would you react if your -normal- was shattered by a job termination notice-- What if someone you love has had a serious health issue occur-- Every child of God will face unexpected changes, interruptions and painful trials that, like it or not, become our new normal. Through it all we can know that Christ is not out to harm us, but instead His plan is to perfect us and strengthen our faith. --Joining Jim to provide insight on this issue was Dr. Les Ollila. Dr. Ollila is founder and director of Building Great Leaders. As a regular conference speaker his ministry provides instruction, encouragement and resources for Christian leaders. He's a former pastor, staff evangelist, and former president of the former Northland Baptist Bible College. In addition to his Building Great Leaders ministry, he is campus chaplain at Faith Baptist Bible College and is a member of the VCY America Board of Directors. He has courses on the VCY Bible Institute at vcybible.org and is the author of the book, A New Normal.--Some Christians believe that if they just walk in obedience to the Lord and serve Him faithfully, somehow they'll be exempt from trials and tragedy. Dr. Ollila began by noting that this is not biblically accurate. He explained that if we want to fulfill our purpose to be conformed to Christ, we can't escape the deep, dark times of life. The good news is that what God doesn't cause, He will use. That includes the mistakes and misjudgments that we make.--Can we prepare for those times when -normal- is upended-- Dr. Ollila noted that there's no way to practice or prepare for such moments.

The Banking Crisis: What's Going On? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank is said to be the second largest bank collapse in U.S. history. There were lines of customers waiting to withdraw from their accounts. It looked like a run on the bank until President Biden, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and National Economic Council Director Lael Brainerd stepped in to avert a crisis similar to that of 2008. --Alex Newman returned to Crosstalk to bring his analysis to this issue. Alex is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. He is senior editor for The New American. He is author of Crimes of the Educators and Deep State- The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes. He is founder of Liberty Sentinel.--What brought the collapse about-- The approximate cause is that they were sitting on a very large number of U.S. bonds. So when interest rates rise, long-term U.S. treasury bonds decline in value. In other words, the bank was sitting on large, unrealized losses on the bonds. When depositors began trying to pull out their money, they had to sell some of the bonds and they ended up realizing some of those loses and at that point it became obvious there wasn't going to be enough money to cover the deposits.--Alex believes that at its core, our monetary system is fundamentally unsustainable and must lead to destruction. In fact, he contends that what we're seeing now is exactly what America saw in the run-up to the Great Depression. You'll see this all come together as he provides the history behind the Great Depression, the creation of the Federal Reserve, the role of the FDIC, and the FedNow Service.

 News Roundup & Comment | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

The Assault on Moral Values | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Jim began by noting that never before, in the entire history of the U.S., have we seen the assault on moral values like we're witnessing today. Joining him to take a look at the latest examples of this assault was Peter LaBarbera. Peter is a reporter for WND.com, a former reporter for the Washington Times, LifeSiteNews.com, and a former contributing editor for Human Events. He is the founder and president of Americans for Truth.--News stories featured on this broadcast that highlight the direct assault on moral values included---Parents of students at a high school are criticizing the administration after it allowed a drag queen performance during a mandatory multi-cultural assembly in front of hundreds of students in the school gym. --There's concern about a shocking high school homework assignment in Eugene, Oregon, where the students were instructed to write a short story depicting a sexual fantasy.--A litany of transgender-sexual orientation-gender identity flags hung at the Sheboygan South -Wisconsin- High School library to support students and faculty in the LGBTQ community according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.--A group known as Parents Defending Education has a list of schools with policies which state that in the interest of so-called privacy of the students, the school won't reveal gender transitions. --Because a biological male was on the roster of an opposing team, a Vermont religious school forfeited a girls playoff basketball game.  Islamophobia: Fact or Fiction? | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Today had been marked by the U.N. as International Day to Combat Islamophobia. At noon Eastern Time, Robert McCaw, the government affairs director from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, was to speak at a Capitol Hill briefing on combating what they call -international Islamophobia.- The U.N. is calling for a global dialogue that promotes tolerance, peace, and respect for human rights and religious diversity. --Returning to Crosstalk with commentary on this issue was Usama Dakdok. Usama is founder of the Straight Way of Grace Ministry. He is the speaker on the daily radio broadcast, Revealing the Truth About Islam. He speaks fluent Arabic and has translated the Qur'an into English. He's the author of Exposing the Truth about the Qur'an and Exposing the Truth About Jihad and the booklets, The Violent Truth about Islam and The Straight Way to Eternal Life.--The discussion led off with Usama defining the term, -Islamophobia-. He indicated that according to Wikipedia, it's defined as, -...the fear, hatred or prejudice against the Islamic religion or Muslims generally. --Usama followed up by noting that this is a lie. He said, -We do not have any problem with Muslims, we have a problem with Islam. --Next, he defined two words- phobia and Islam. A phobia is an irrational fear. He noted people who fear swimming, flying or being in an elevator. That's an irrational fear-a phobia, because in essence, you're afraid of nothing. --However, if you're standing on train tracks and the train is coming at you at 300mph, that's a rational fear-the fear of something real. This is the case with Islam.

 J6 Footage Provides Another Narrative | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

For over two years Americans have been told by the news media and politicians that there was an attempt by armed insurrectionists to overthrow our government and that it was prodded by then President Donald Trump. However, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy released thousands of hours of footage to Tucker Carlson of Fox News who indicated that the footage aired had been vetted by Capitol Hill police before broadcasting it to ensure that there was not any security concerns. What he's revealed presents a very different narrative concerning what took place on January 6th.--To help listeners better understand how this new information clarifies events from that day, Crosstalk welcomed Steven Bonta. Steven is the executive senior editor and longtime contributor to The New American magazine. He holds a PhD from Cornell University where he has also taught there and at Penn State University. He is the author of the book, Inside the United Nations.--Was what took place that January 6th really an insurrection-- Steven began by describing an incident that occurred in Bogota, Colombia, in the 1980's. Heavily armed communist guerrillas seized control of the supreme court building and the situation ended in a violent shootout with the military and hundreds killed. In comparison, what took place at our Capitol was a mass demonstration where a few -hooligans- got carried away. The people had a right to be there as permits had been obtained and as he noted, -Generally insurrectionists don't secure permits for their actions either.---Was he claiming that there was no violence that day-- He admitted there were windows broken and several hundred people were arrested.

 Attacks Against Pro-Lifers / Abortion Pill Battle | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

It's absolutely appalling to see the lengths many states and politicians are taking to give tacit approval for the murder of a pre-born child in the womb. Since the Dobbs decision was leaked, the violence, hate, destruction, firebombs, threats, and extreme vandalism have been unleashed on pro-life agencies and churches. Meanwhile, rather than going after those who link themselves to Jane's Revenge, the Justice Department is prosecuting pro-lifers. Indeed the violence continues. Just a weekend ago, another pro-life center was hit and additional states have passed legislation allowing the killing of babies up until the point of birth. One state has proposed legislation to make abortion a religious right. Pharmacies are engaging in the culture war pertaining to the abortion pill, and last week, a guest on a national TV program appeared to call for the murder of pro-life legislators. --Returning to Crosstalk with this pro-life update was Pastor Jim Harden. Pastor Harden is president and CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services in New York. Jim pioneered the first measurable and repeatable medical model in the pregnancy center movement, helping hundreds of centers nationwide become more effective at reaching more women and saving more babies from abortion. --Last weekend, a pro-life pregnancy center in Minneapolis was hit with smashed windows and graffiti messages from the terrorist group, Jane's Revenge. According to Pastor Harden, on Saturday morning, Antifa members showed up in their black masks to protest outside the building.--Crosstalk listeners brought their views in response to this issue as well.

Speeches from the Soapbox | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

Many years ago, products were often delivered in wooden crates, including soap. Some of the topics brought up included---COVID-19 -Islam -A one world order being staged. -Travel restrictions while at the same time our borders are porous. -Households abandoning God. -The lack of prayer in churches. -Wisconsin doesn't understand how much we stand to lose if we lose the State Supreme Court.-Post COVID, people need to come back to the house of God.-Why do people continue to buy products made in China----...and much more from your fellow Crosstalk listeners-

Impacting Others For Christ Through Film | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

As you listen to Crosstalk, you can see we are living in perilous times. We re are in a spiritual battle and especially during this time in which we're living, it's critical that people put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. --In addition, there's the urgency for believers to be salt and light and to make a lasting spiritual impact on the lives of others we come into contact with. So just as all Christians should use their gifts, talents, and abilities for God's glory, the guest on this Crosstalk has put this concept into films. --Rich Christiano is a film writer, director, and producer. In 2002, he along with his brother Dave, formed Five - Two pictures, reminiscent of the lad who shared 5 loaves and two fish. Rich is responsible for multiple films such as Time Changer, Unidentified, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, A Matter of Faith, Play the Flute, and Mind Reader.-The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry is about a 75 year old man in 1970 -played by Gavin MacLeod-. He begins having Bible studies with three, 12 year old boys to motivate them to start reading the Bible and follow the Lord. --Play the Flute is about a youth director who takes over an indifferent youth group. The main character -Brandon Cobb played by Brett Varvel- doesn't back off his convictions as he attempts to try to motivate them to read the Bible and get serious about Christ. --This edition of Crosstalk doesn't look at these two films from a mere entertainment perspective. Instead, Jim and Rich examine several audio clips from these films and comment on things.

College of the Ozarks v. Biden | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 53:00

When it comes to the LGBTQ- agenda and its promotion, at the beginning we were told to simply tolerate it. Then we were told to show acceptance. After that we were told we must celebrate it. Now we are being forced to participate in it.--The featured example on this edition of Crosstalk involved the College of the Ozarks, a Christian college in Missouri. They are seeking to sue the Biden administration as the college is being forced to violate its religious beliefs by opening its dorms and shower spaces to members of the opposite sex or face fines up to six figures, pay punitive damages, and attorney fees.--Joining Jim to discuss this case was Julie Blake. Julie serves as senior counsel for regulatory litigation at Alliance Defending Freedom. She previously served as deputy solicitor general for the state of Missouri and as an assistant solicitor general for the state of West Virginia. Also, previously following law school, she served as a law clerk for Judge Paul Kelly, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. She is admitted to practice in multiple states, the Supreme Court, and in many federal district and appellate courts.
