The apostle Paul instructed Timothy to, -Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.- -2 Timothy 2-15---Then there's the Bereans who were commended in Acts 17-11 for not only receiving the word with readiness of mind, but they also searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so.--In other words, we are to be students of God's word. After all, how will we discern true from false teachings if we don't know what the truth is----Are you aware of the fact that the Bible is its own best commentary-- So to truly understand what the Bible teaches about a subject, we need to consult all of what it teaches on it. --To help in this regard, Crosstalk welcomed Jerome Smith. Jerome is one who is passionate about teaching believers to use Scripture to interpret Scripture. He is editor of Nelson's Cross Reference Guide to the Bible and the book talked about on this broadcast, the newly revised and expanded book, The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.--Jerome obtained one of the original 1836 editions of The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge in 1955 and studied it all the time along with his Bible. He noted numerous mistakes and listed them on the inside of the front cover. He then discovered that this book was to be reprinted and suggested that the errors be corrected and he ended up being put in charge of the new edition. Jerome said he began the project about 1965-'66 and completed it around 1988-'89. He added 100,000 additional references to make it even more helpful and corrected 4,000 places where he felt they made unjustified changes.

We are certainly in troublesome times as we see the advancing of an agenda that promotes the killing of the pre-born and that takes children away from their parents in order to secure what they call, -gender affirmation.- This is done either via chemicals or surgery or both. --Then there's the lawlessness that's abounding on many levels. For example, there are Soros-backed D.A.'s that are releasing violent criminals back into society. Youth are rioting, running rampant and creating all sorts of mayhem. We have virtually open borders.--China is throwing its influence abroad, creating alliances with Russia, Iran and even trying to convince France to distance themselves from the U.S. --As for our military command-- They're strategizing with how to deal with the existential threat of our time- so-called global climate change. This effort attacks our money supply, our sources of energy that power our natural gas appliances, engines...it even attacks our food supply- --Alex Newman believes it's our climate policy and not climate change that is causing the crisis. Tragically in our state of Wisconsin last weekend, two officers were killed in the line of duty. Also, last weekend an officer in New Orleans was killed by gunfire. Other officers in other states were killed in the line of duty in the week previous.--We recall the recent mass shooting in Nashville at a Christian school and, even more recently, the shootings in Louisville at the Old National Bank where the perpetrator was live streaming his carnage. Last week in Marion County, FL a 12-year-old and a 17-year-old were charged with the murders of 3 teens. A 16-year-old is still being sought.--We could go on for some time reading this escalation of violence. Some are asking, -Do we need to enact stricter gun control laws-- Are more gun control laws the answer-- Was there any regard for the law by those who committed these atrocities-----Yes, our society is becoming more lawless and more violent. We shouldn't be totally surprised by this. We are told that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. How were those days of Noah-- Genesis 6-11-13 reveals, -The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt- for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me.

He really was against this as he wanted the emergency to continue for at least another month, but with majorities in both the House and Senate passing the legislation, the President signed it.--Look at the impact of the national emergency. First we were told masks do not work, then we were told to mask, and then we were told to double mask. We were told which businesses were essential and which ones were not. The church was deemed non-essential as churches across the nation were forbidden to meet. Some could not even meet in private cars in church parking lots, but local abortion chambers were allowed open. Of course there's the shot issue, where people all across this nation were terminated from their jobs for refusing the jab. Businesses placed all kinds of regulations based upon so-called guidance from the CDC. Some local units of government said -enough is enough- and went against this system. Many lawsuits were filed on behalf of many by our guest today.--We saw the havoc this caused in our nation.

This past Friday, a federal judge suspended the approval of the abortion pill in a ruling against the Food and Drug Administration. The judge indicated that the FDA made a series of legal errors in the approval of the pill for sale in the U.S. --Xavier Beccera, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, is calling this a reckless decision. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is demanding that President Biden simply ignore the ruling.--Another federal judge issued a decision just minutes after this one was given with an opposite viewpoint. --Brad Mattes is the president of Life Issues Institute which was founded in 1991 to serve the educational needs of the pro-life movement. Brad is the host of Life Issues, a daily radio commentary and has produced numerous radio specials standing for life.--The battle for the protection of life always has a lot of facets, so in addition to his comments on the legal battle, Brad brought listeners up to date on other aspects of this topic as well including---Mifepristone -RU-486- and Misoprostol. Alvin Bragg and Democrats in a speech saying that he never thought anything like this would happen in America.----Liberal news outlets and their left-wing extremists were disappointed with the arraignment of Trump, noticing a substantial lack of evidence brought on by -woke- prosecutors.----Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the Democrat leading the prosecution of former President Donald Trump, had the backing for his 2021 election from an organization affiliated with the main Black Lives Matter group, Color of Change, a partner organization of BLM. ----Jim Jordan has subpoenaed the former Manhattan prosecutor in the first strike against the office that is prosecuting former President Trump. ----The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ordered Stormy Daniels to pay former President Trump almost -122,000 in legal fees stemming from a defamation lawsuit that she filed in 2018 that was later dismissed.----Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced a 2024 presidential bid, becoming the fourth major Republican candidate to make such an announcement.----Robert F. Kennedy announced his run for the 2024 White House.----Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Janet Protasiewicz defeated former Justice Daniel Kelly for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Jim began by quoting Genesis 1-27- -So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him- male and female created he them.- --We see this also in the gospel of Matthew where Jesus was questioned about marriage. He said- -Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female...--- --Throughout history we've seen what happens to nations that turn their backs on God. Scripture tells us what happens in such instances as we see in Romans chapter 1 verses 18-32. Verse 28 is key where it says- -And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.---This is where we stand in American society today and Jim provided proof from various news sources as he discussed, The Transing of a Nation. For example---Transgender mass shooter Audrey Hale, plotted the attack at Covenant School, a private Christian academy in Nashville, for months. Six people were killed, including three children.--Some radical activists have included Hale as one of the shooting victims.--Audrey Hale's massacre of children and teachers at the school makes her one of only 3 female mass-rampage killers in America.--Leftists have mocked prayer following this shooting incident and ridicule Tennessee's laws on transgender surgeries for minors.--Transgender activists aim to police the speech of Americans, particularly as it pertains to preferred pronouns, but some of them do not extend the same courtesy to God.--The White House held a roundtable on affirming gender confused children.

Tensions around the world continue to escalate. Alliances are being formed between America's enemies while they strengthen their militaries. As for the U.S. military, look at these headlines from various news sites over the past several weeks-----The Biden administration is now ordering the military to allow male soldiers to shower with females.----Army revamping -Be all you can be- campaign.----Republicans demand answers from West Point over pronoun play acting training session.----Pentagon researchers urge more access to sex change hormones for military kids.----Secretary of State Blinken defends funding drag shows.----Biden aims to shrink the Navy while the Secretary of the Navy focuses on climate change. --After reading these you have to ask the question- Are we pursuing military readiness or military -wokeness--- --Appearing on Crosstalk to discuss this issue was Elaine Donnelly. Since its founding in 1993, CMR has advocated for high, uncompromised standards in all forms of military training and sound priorities in the making of military-social policies.--What does -woke- mean-- Elaine defined it as another name for progressivism-liberalism taken to extremes with coercion, even if it hurts the institution. That means -wokeness- is affecting and shaping gender policy, environmental policy and in the case of the subject discussed here, the military.

Scott Schara is the father of Grace Schara. Grace, 19 years of age, had Down Syndrome, tested positive for COVID, and was hospitalized and treated following the protocols that were being carried out in health facilities across the nation. She was ushered into eternity on October 13, 2021. - -This Crosstalk is an update on Grace's story, first heard in January of 2022 on Crosstalk. As shocking and alarming as it was back then, there's more to report. Scott brought listeners an update that included a brief overview of her case which involved drugs that were not authorized to be administered. Then there was the Do-Not-Resuscitate -DNR- order placed on Grace and who recommended it, how the American Medical Association views informed consent and if that was that followed with Grace, the lawsuit against St. Elizabeth Hospital, audio from the recent press conference outside the hospital and more. --This case highlights the critical importance of informed consent and what this means for you and your loved ones.

It was December 7th, 2022, when Senator Ron Johnson hosted a symposium called, COVID-19 Vaccines- What They Are, How They Work, and Possible Causes of Injuries. Those that participated in that round-table discussion included numerous experts and medical professionals who discussed the background of the coronavirus, functionality of the vaccines, failures of the pandemic response, early treatment drugs, adverse reactions, vaccine injuries, and plans for future research and response.--One of the participants at that symposium was Dr. Peter McCullough, a man considered to be among the world's experts on COVID-19. Dr. McCullough is an internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist managing the cardiovascular complications of both the viral infection and the injuries developing after the COVID-19 vaccine. Since the outset of the pandemic, he's been a leader in the medical response to the COVID-19 disaster and published Pathophysiological Basis and Rationale for Early Outpatient Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 -COVID-19- Infection. This was the first synthesis of sequenced multi-drug treatment of ambulatory patients infected with COVID-19 in the American Journal of Medicine.--This was an information-packed broadcast that opened with Dr. McCullough noting that the current COVID vaccines are not sufficiently safe and effective. He believes they should be pulled from the market. In fact, it's now been proven that these vaccines cause heart damage in large numbers of individuals who take them, neurological damage, and immediate death for others. In other words, the vaccines have exceeded all boundaries of safety.--Dr. McCullough went on to discuss other aspects of this topic as well.

This edition of Crosstalk began with 2 news updates. The first update concerned the charging of a Wisconsin man in the 2022 Mother's Day fire-bombing of the office of Wisconsin Family Action in Madison, Wisconsin. The second update dealt with the shooting this past Monday at The Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, where 3 children and 3 adults were killed. --Bruce DeLange is a representative with Fellowship Tract League whose goal is to make the Great Commission, a daily commitment. Bruce is a former pastor and evangelist.--Fellowship Tract League has been around since 1978. It began when Pastor Wash Pennington went to a camp meeting in Myrtle, Mississippi, and came back -fired up- about printing gospel tracts. He presented the idea to the church and he received 100- support. --It took about 6-8 years to produce 100 million tracts but now they average over 100 million each year. The total printed to date stands at about 5.2 billion. Tracts are printed in many languages -between 85 and 90-. They receive about 600 orders per week and they're shipped throughout America and around the world.
