 3-D Chiropractic™ with Dr. Alan Nuñez | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:58:00

Dr. Nuñez is a master chiropractor with over 27 years of experience dealing with the most difficult and "lost cause" cases since the beginning of his practice.During his college training he first became familiar with a non-forceful treatment method of spinal correction that would eventually lead to Dr. Nuñez developing the 3-Dimensional Chiropractic Technique or 3DCT in 2000. 3DCT is more than a technique, it is also a philosophy based on the observation that frightening or traumatic events in youth cause tension in the muscles that can become chronic.Chronic tension over time leads eventually to chronic pain, joint degeneration and distortion of the body.Early in Dr. Nuñez's career he noticed that when he would adjust patients that they would feel better for a while but often the same symptoms would return. He realized that he needed to not only do more to release these chronically tense muscles,he also needed to teach his patients how to help themselves to loosen their muscles in between visits with no popping, no cracking and no twisting. He developed a muscle release technique called Pressure-Plus-Motion or PPM that would break up the chronically tense muscles and lead to a resolution of the problem.Eventually he began teaching these methods to his patients and wrote a self-help book in 1998 that patients could use as a guide to treat themselves called,"How to Keep the Chiropractor Off Your Back!" Dr. Nuñez treats patients from ages 3 months to 101 and who have conditions such as back sprain, headache, neck tension, whiplash, sport injuries, slip & fall,Hiatal Hernia syndrome, and even colic.Chronic or difficult cases are welcome!   Learn More:  Dr. Nuñez

Judith Hannan author of: "Motherhood Exaggerated" | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Judith Hannan has been a writer for over 25 years; 10 years ago she began exploring personal narrative. Her essays have appeared in such publications as Woman’s Day, Twins Magazine, The Martha’s Vineyard Gazette, Mom Writer’s Literary Magazine, The Healing Muse, and the anthology On The Vineyard III. She teaches writing about personal experience to homeless single mothers and to at-risk adolescents. Ms. Hannan has a long history of involvement in children’s education, health and welfare. She served as Director of Development for the 92nd Street Y and then for the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. She serves on the board of the Museum as well as on three boards affiliated with the Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York—the Adolescent Health Center, the Children’s Center Foundation and the new Global Health Initiative. In her emotionally uncompromising memoir, "MOTHERHOOD EXAGGERATED", Judith recounts the ordeal of her young daughter’s battle with cancer and how the frightening medical journey tested and strengthened a mother’s resilience. This takes you from diagnosis to remission as an 8 year old Nadia Hannan endures the nightmare of potentially terminal bone cancer, and the entire family weathers the dire interruption in their lives. Told with grace and candor, Judith's fierce depiction of an unwelcome trial of motherhood is, in the words of novelist Mary Gordon, "a moving, engaging retelling of the complex bonds and tensions every parent experiences in our relationship with our children."  Juicy Joy: 7 Simple Steps to Your Glorious,Gutsy Self | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

When Lisa was growing up she has been hooked on unraveling the mysteries of true joy. In college she was so fascinated with comparative religion that a maverick psychology professor allowed her to create a credited independent study program on the overlap between modern metaphysics and ancient spiritual thought. She would devour every pop-psych and metaphsycial book or training she could find.Lisa's life long passion for personal development seemed to be serving herself as well. In the late 1990's, when she stated getting invitations to speak at schools across the country as a bestselling author of children's books, she would talk about her books and about writing. It didn't take long for her to start taking liberties with the word "create". She would launch into what she loved best- teaching these adults and kids how to "create" situations and outcomes, how to create themselves, and how to be masterful creators of their own lives. She was scared the national public school system would catch on and stop inviting her, but the opposite happened. It was all exhilarating to realize that she was opening up a magical and promising new worlds for people. Her passion for this kind of "recruiting" eventually overshadowed her other professional passions and she began shaping her plethora of adult workshop materials into the book, 'Juicy Joy - 7 Simple Steps to Your Glorious, Gutsy Self'. She knew she'd hit upon a system for never having to settle, ever, when it came to the amount of joy and richness she experienced in her life. And she couldn't think of any greater life purpose than to help others discover that same secret. Learn More:  Lisa McCourt CALL IN NUMBER:  (347) 324 - 5661

When Dan was a young boy he was having severe migraines, and remembers all the times being picked up from school, taken to the doctor for a shot of demerol because the migraines would get so bad he would collapse. The doctors had told his parents that he needed to take some kind of music lessons to help. At age 8 he began piano and guitar lessons but became bored of theory and classical music. One day he heard what was called 'boogie woogie' and loved it. He began writing his own music and getting others together that wanted to play music as badly as he did. He cut his first record at age 13 under the name "The Exterminators". They were all in the 7th grade and the school liked them so much they sent them to many schools for their special events. They played the same venue as Paul Revere and the Raiders. Dan has been playing music for over 50 years now and since 13 years old is with the same band called 'Second Wind'. Dan uses music to help relieve his pain from childhood as well as from his on the job injury as a contractor. Dan owned a cabinet shop in Grover Beach, California. He was working one day when he picked up a table saw and twisted to place it in a different spot so he could sweep under it and his back went 'POP', down he went and the pain started shooting through his right leg and middle back. He has been depressed, suicial, and felt as though he's not good for anything. He had surgery after being paralyzed, but after surgery the pain was worse so he got a morphine pain pump inplanted and it's doing well.   Join Dan on FACEBOOK    CALL  IN  NUMBER: (347) - 324 - 5661 then push 1 if you wish to speak with Dan.

RonWear Port-able Clothing with Deb Stanzak | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

In 2004, Deb Papes-Stanzak found herself caring for four family members who were receiving various kinds of infusion and dialysis treatments at the same time. On more than one occasion, her brother, Ron, told Deb that he was tired of how cold he got during dialysis because of the short-sleeve shirts he wore to accommodate his port. He had to use layers of blankets to stay warm—which was a hassle—and sometimes, a perfectly good shirt would be ruined because something accidentally spilled on it. Also, like many people, he felt that the gowns he had to use from time to time in hospital settings were unflattering and embarrassing to wear. And worse yet, wearing them all but ensured that he would feel cold while he received his treatments. As luck would have it, Deb is a seamstress who has worked in the fashion industry, so she focused her 35 years of experience on helping her brother. She sewed a zippered, fleece jacket for him, and RonWear was born. The warmth, comfort, and convenience of this new jacket instantly improved Ron’s dialysis experience. He wasn’t cold during treatments anymore, and most important, he didn’t have to worry about messing around with short-sleeve shirts or hospital gowns. As other patients at the treatment center began noticing what Ron was wearing, they asked if they could get zippered jackets too.   Learn More:  RonWear   OR  Pinterest CALL  IN  NUMBER:  (347) 324-5661  then push 1 if you wish to speak with Deb
